Title: Problem with upload
Post by: JacopoTore on March 17, 2017, 01:05:56 PM
Hi have a problem, I want to add a new score but I have this problem: "You've reached the maximum number of currently open submissions. (2) ". I have a submission that is Accepted, and yesterday I put an old transcription I made. Can I resolve this limit?
Thank you

That is normal. An arranger, like you, can only submit 2 arrangements at once. The sheet that is listed as "accepted" will not count after the next update. Then you will be able to submit again.

Compositions go in the Home-made composition section of the forum.

thats not whats being said here either yall need to learn to read

maelstrom said "an arranger like you" and yes while that indicates an arranger as far as the forum terms are concerned, if youre not a native entlish speaker it comes across as saying youre JUST an arranger which when taken literally may be incorrect

Yes, I imagined that it was interpreted as such, but something like that still doesn't have anything to do with Maelstrom's original point that any arranger (regardless of whether they're also a composer or not) is restricted to 2 submissions.

Everyone on this website has a limit of 2 submissions (admins included). There are no ranks; only music.

Compose things. Also compositions go on their own board, and do not affect the main site in the slightest.

Therefore I must to wait for my submissions?

If you'd rather submit something else (with higher priority), you can delete/take down one of your arrangements from the NSM Panel and replace it. Otherwise, you'll have to wait (and bump your submissions threads every month or so as necessary).

What do you mean for "bump every month"?

She means that every month or so, you post in one of your submission threads so that the updaters might look at it.

Ok I think I understood, but I posted the last reply, so I need to post another reply?

Essentially if your thread sinks to a deeper part of the submissions board (usually halfway down the second page or so), you can "BUMP" it to bring it back to the first page, increasing the likelihood of an Updater to pay attention to it. You are allowed to double post for bumping purposes.
