WhOa. That's an intense song.

It needs a Key of G Major, and more than a few 8vas/ 8vbs.  :-\
Or so I think anyway. I don't think that it's ready for submission yet. (just my opinion; I'm not an admin or a mod. I can't stop a submission acceptance/rejection).

hmm, G Major, how many sharps or flats is that?

Just one.
Title: Re: Nana1Popo2's Arrangements

One Sharp. Let me look at this....
Actually...D Major. Two Sharps. C natural is never used.
I would take that B natural up an octave in the bass line...cause thats nearly impossible to play where it is now.
Also, you could changed the staffs from Bass to Treble and from Treble to Treble 8. If your current version of finale wont let you change keys or change clefs, you can go to the Help forum and ask for it to be done for you :)
Title: Re: Nana1Popo2's Arrangements
Post by: Nana1Popo2 on July 21, 2008, 07:20:49 AM
o_O ya, i know the one sharp...the F sharp, correct?....yah i think thats the only one i might change...

hmm.....ok about the B Natural...

i dont understand what u mean about the staffs

ill change it and Edit the same post :)
Title: Re: Nana1Popo2's Arrangements
Post by: Nana1Popo2 on July 21, 2008, 08:29:54 AM
ok, it has been changed, i added an F Sharp to the Key Signature, and raised the B Natural on the Bass up an octave, and actually found that i had to add an eith note somewhere ;D also added the tempo

so how is it now, with the changes?

and could someone tell me how to change the name of this topic, or is there a way to move it to the top, or......instead of having to make a new reply.. ???

hmm... Your Route compostion is good, but the only thing wrong is that there a few bad chords in measures 15 and 16 that make a cringy sound, if you know what I mean. Otherwise I see no problems. :]

haha. The timer one sounds cool. I don't play many Sonic games, so I don't know the other one. :P

But I did notice 2 things in Delfino Plaza. I'll play with the sheet and send it to you through pm to see what you think.

World 1: Asuka Ota (GOOD!)

Route 101…: Go Ichinose (GOOD!)

Final Rush: Jun Senoue (not used)

BioLizard: Jun Senoue (not used)

Nazo No Murosamejou: Akihiro Honda1

Rayquaza Battle: Go Inichose (GOOD!)

Brain Age: Minako Hamono (not used before)

Most of these have more than composer (Such of Brawl). I’m going to look into the NSM sheets and see what composers they chose, if the game was used before.

1lol. 3 separate composers were used. One was Nobuo Uematsu. Another was Koji Kondo. The third was "various Brawl Composers." Take your pick. Just don't choose Uematsu.  ;)

Both Jun Senoue and Suako Honda were composers in Brawl. That's a good sign.  :D

wow! thanks!  :D

but what does the (GOOD!) and (not used) mean?

and could u tell me where u found that out, cuz i dont want to have to ask people all the time for it......

and for anyone else: how do u upload a midi to come with it? and how do u make a link "MUS or MIDI" instead of the entire link...

1. Good means that it was correct; the sheets on NSM used that composer. Not used means that the game was never submitted; yours will be the first arrangement from that game.

2. www.gamefaq.com Search box.

3. In the line just above the smileys, at the far left, you'll see Insert Flash, Insert Image, and a few others. The one with the planet on the paper, Insert Hyperlink, is the one you are looking for. If you want the info page on Sonic Adventure 2, just go here. (http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/dreamcast/data/291597.html) You can simply quote this for the formula.

Or you can look down here. it looks like this: (url=http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/dreamcast/data/291597.html)Same as above.(/url)

Just trade the ()'s for []'s and add the = in the first url box. It doesn't need to be red.  :)

If you just click the planet with the paper, you'll get this: ['url][/url] with no apostrophe.

thank you!

test (http://www.com)

so does that mean that the composer for the New Super Mario songs are Asuka Ota and not Koji Kondo?

I looked at gamefaq.com. Koji Kondo's name was not on the list. Asuka's was, though. The Composer is Asuka Ota, apparently.

Super Mario Sunshine!?! New Super Mario Bros!?! Brain Age!?! SONIC ADVENTURE 2 BATTLE!!!!!!?!!!!!! *I'm glad someone else likes that game...* You are my new favorite arranger! A month or two ago, I was like "What a noob," but you're awesome! I have a couple of issues tho...

SA2B Final Rush: Notes clash and it's not fast enough. Maybe you need a better left hand...

SA2B White Jungle: Sounds empty.

SMS Blooper Surfing: This piece simply isn't made for piano, but I think you have as good as it'll get!

BA Training: Besides some parts being unplayable, this is amazing!!!

SMS Delfino Plaza: From measure 27-38, some chords clash. But a big improvement from the last one!

I find your New Super Mario Bros. Title Screen arrangement to be great. I don't think the rest you have in between the notes during each run-through of the scale is necessary, though, but I would not recommend removing them either as it makes the tempo even. I would also say that the notes in the measures from the end of 4 to the middle of six should be red notes while that other rhythm continues, except I think it would make it quite impossible to play so I'll accept it as it is.

Two Words: THANK YOU.

Wild Pokemon Battle is well above my expectations, and I find the revised version of Delfino Plaza MUCH more original and, to be honest, better than G-Han's.

GO YOU!!!

You have now earned the position of one of my favourite arrangers!  :) :D ;D :P

I have a question tha should be a little noob  :P
Howcan you change the link name of your sheets by another word?
For example:

[GBA] Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire - "Routes 101, 102, & 103" - Nana1Popo2
MUS MID

The Word "MUS" and "MID" should be name with a strange link... How do you do that?

by the way, I think that your arrangements are awsome
Title: Re: Nana1Popo2's Arrangements (Updated 9/13) 3 new songs :P
Post by: kotorfanboy on September 17, 2008, 03:35:38 PM
What you do, is insert a hyperlink (second row of icons on the reply page, third from the left).
Then, in between the brackets you put what you want to show up on the screen. In Nana1popo2's case, he put midi between the brackets.
Lastly, on the first bracket, the one that says (url), change it so it is (url=insert your website here).

For future reference you could always hit quote on someone's reply, see how they did it, then back up or cancel and do it yourself.

The pleasure is mine :)

You want an opinion? Ill gave my opinion!
This Jazz arrangement is really damn great, (that entrance to the main theme with the sound that when you earn a life its so perfect :P), the instruments are well distributed and the song almost look like the original one. But the "look like the original one" couldn't be so good... if your objective is creating a Jazz version of the song, you should make more variations in the main theme, like rhythm, improvising (well, Jazz is improvising) and other additional stuff. Also, i think a voice in the song should be good too :)
Last thing - in the main theme, sometimes, the horns plays too loud. try putting them more piano
But the arrangement is really cool
For the 1st time in my reviews (ive made about 30 reviews in a lot of arrangements), this is the 1st one which Ill give a classification of 5*. Congrat!

Classification: ***** (5*)

Sorry to bump this, but is there a chance that you could reupload a few songs? If not all of them, at least Delfino Plaza, Song of Storms, Rock the Mic, and the Pokémon Route 101-103? I've listened to a few of your arrangements before, and thought they were awesome, but I'd like to have a look at a few more of the songs. Now I've finally got the software to view your latest work as well.
And as my piano skills have improved since I last looked in this topic, I thought I might be able to play one of them (OK, not Pokémon Contest, but at least something).

Thanks a lot, and (from what I can remember, plus Pokémon Contest, which I saved on my PC), great work!

The notes are okay, but the rhythm lacks... how would I call it... Logic?
I sounds OK, but you need a key signature (I know I sound like Concerto right now =P) and the rhythm has to be fixed. Sorry, but that doesn't sound right at all (the rhythm, not the arrangement).

Nevertheless, good arrangement :)

Ooh, pick me, pick me! ;D

I've been looking for an arrangement of this song since the game was released, and I must say, it is quite awesome. The only thing that's bugging me, though, is the notes in the bass measures 15-27. Not the notes exactly, but you should change the clef there to Bass 8 to raise the notes into the stave and make it more aesthetically pleasing.  :) Good work!

lol, ok xD

um, ya i see what ya mean....i also said myself it sounds a bit too.....well..odd, to have such a low part like that..... >_>
but i see no problem with it....considering that the note in measure 13/14 is that low, then it should continue with the same..........lowness.... (ya, im not good with the terms.... ''>_>) hmm, les see what other people gots to say....if i were to make that decision. :)

thank you! lol......its been a while since ive had a reply to one of my songs........  :D

You know, I wouldn't mind working together with you on an arrangement. I'm not very good, but I have the time to get things done, and it's the opposite with you. If you come up with an idea for a new arrangement, I'd be eager to work with you on it.

Brain Age: Training
-the bass line in the song has a 16th note tied to an 8th, not a 16th tied to another 16th followed by a 16th.
(https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi113.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fn208%2Fshadoninja%2Feg1.jpg&hash=0c48129094cd9598b6b76a1dd507426048534218)
-you could save paper by putting it into one page. I would recommend having the first 3 systems with 4 measures and the last 2 with 2 measures.
(https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi113.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fn208%2Fshadoninja%2Feg3.jpg&hash=12623241281cc16f7b82761628aec3f61c5e13b4)
-bar 10 - reduce the clutter by only putting in the played notes.
-bar 13 - shift the high and low notes more closer to each other similar to the picture.

^ Thank you Taser! Yes, it is unfortunate.. I'm busy with school and band especially, I just don't get the time like I used to... and Finale flips out on me nearly every time i use it... it likes to suddenly just "Not Respond" and then i have to force shut it down... :(

but I am trying! thanks for the feedback!

To make a PDF, all you need to do is install a PDF creator program, such as PrimoPDF. When you've done that, to make the PDF from the Finale score, just go to print and, instead of printing to the printer, select the PDF creator from the list.

If you plan on modifying it, just tell me and I'll convert it again.

and Dudeman: Ok, I'll see what others think, too before I change anything. I put them in just for the effect; they don't need to be there, but it sounds more like the original with them. Thanks for the feedback!
