Sometimes arrangers will take your requests, other times they don't. Try not to take it personally if it's the latter. Many requests are fulfilled weeks or months after they are posted; such is the nature of a site based on arrangers who work in their spare time for free. Since it hasn't even been a week yet, I'd suggest waiting a little longer before giving up.
