Title: Cartoon Network Shows (The cancelled ones)
Post by: Lildigipoke2 on March 01, 2008, 02:15:54 PM
What's your favorite show that was cancelled from Cartoon Network?

EX: Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls (lol), etc

the best cartoon of all time: Justice League/Unlimited.

it was AWESOME! but they cancelled it because they said kids weren't watching it and only adults were (they should have moved it to Adult Swim then...), so therefore it was bad or too mature. i miss that show soooooooo much (partly because i'm a huge comic book nerd and partly because it was so freaking amazing even if i had never heard of Batman or Supreman or that guy that runs fast).

Samurai Jack was awesome, too. and does anyone know if they're still gonna make that live action movie of it that they were going to? it was supposed to be the end of the series and he was gonna face Aku and then go back to the past, it would've been awesome. and it wasn't gonna be all kiddy and babyish like the live action Ben 10 movie if any of you have seen it (i atched it at my grandma's house, there was nothing better to do... :-\), if was gonna be more adult, not rated R, but definitely PG-13. it would've been like a cross between a Deltoro and a Terintino movie, was gonna be awesome. so does anyone know if they're still making it, cuz i haven't heard much in a while?

probably not because it's been so long since it was last shown

Live action would be lame.  A good high quality Japanese Anime movie would be awesome though.

only in the really gey new seasons with the new animation style. it went downhill really fast (five minutes into the first new episode) after Gendy Tartokovski (i know i misspelled that :-\) left.

and WTF Peewee's playhouse on adult swim.

I agree. I used to watch CN, but my parents thought I was watching too much and cancelled our TV plan. :'( I got TV back a few months later, but with no CN. my brothers kept begging to get it back, but it didn't work. a few weeks ago I went to disneyland and the hotel had CN. the shows were so dumb, my friends and I had to watch playhouse disney or pbs kids XP

Courage the Cowardly Dog and Samurai Jack were my above-all-else fav CN shows, Dexter's Laboratory was amazing until i realized that i had actually seen every single episode. I liked 2 Stupid Dogs as a very young child only because of the large man who alwasy screamed, "Aw, isn't that cute...BUT ITS WRONG!". I cant really count the smurfs, flintstones or the jetsons because they air reguarly on Boomerang (which raises something in me, that i haven't watched that channel in about a year....)

Dexter's lab was awsome even though DeeDee was a DeeDeeDee. Teen Titans was cool. And I just have to announce that the new Tom & Jerry episodes suck. The old ones from the 50's to when ever they ended long ago were awsome and I could just watch'em over and over. The Pink Panther was awsome as well.

Don't hate me people - I just didn't like it at all - it MIGHT be because here in norway, late cartoon network was really poorly dubbed, and they showed the same episodes over and over and over, so no one could really get into anything.

Nebbles, you need to stop liking everything I like. It's making me feel like there's someone I can relate to.

Isn't the new Code Lyoko supposed to be live action or something like that?

I'm not even sure where I heard it,but I just remember seeing it somewhere. Hopefully not. So far, every tme a cartoon I like has been converted to live action, it's been awful.(The Last Airbender, Dragonball: Evolutions)

I heard that with Teen Titans, though.

I know Code Lyoko is a french show, and dubbing over live action usually doesn't end too well. So are they making an English version of the series, or shall I have to score the interwebs for a subbed version?

I almost would go with subbed, since dubbing IS awful... and French is an awesome language to listen to.
