Poll
Question:
Whom'st hosteth?
Option 1: THC
votes: 2
Option 2: Kaiveran
votes: 6
As the current game begins to draw to a close, I think it's about time to start thinking about the start of the next game. Please be aware that a requirement for posting your game this time around is that it must fit onto a single standard-sized Post-it note (for legal reasons this is a joke). Games should ideally be balanced for 6-10 players (though games on the larger side should potentially be balanced to allow for fewer players if necessary). Well, get to post-it noting!!!
Hosts:
1. ThatHiddenCharacter
2. Kaiveran
...
I'm in for hosting, but I'm at work, so I'll post my game when I get home in the morning. I just wanted to make it clear that I'm in.
Unless anyone has any objections, I'm gonna set the end date for accepting games as Wednesday, September 6th end of day. Poll will run Thursday-Saturday.
TWG CXVI: Drunk With Power
DMs are not allowed in this game. No lynch is a voting option. Since wolves do not know each other, wolfings are determined by a vote. A tie is solved with a randomizer, just like with lynch ties. No votes results in a random killing (with the wolves included in the pool, make sure to vote!). This game does not have cardflips.
Roles:
1. Big Alcohol Rep: Once per night can DM the host a player's name. If the player is an Alcoholic, they become a Severe Alcoholic. The player becomes an Alcoholic if they are a Designated Driver.
2-?. Drunk Werewolf: Vanilla werewolf, but drunk. Drunk Wolves (and the BAR) do not know who each other are.
3. Bar Brawler: Once during a day phase can challenge another player. Both the player and the Bar Brawler will die and no lynch will happen during that phase.
4. Bartender: Once per night, can DM a player's name to the host, cutting that player off. In the morning, the player becomes a Designated Driver if they are an Alcoholic. The player becomes an Alcoholic if they are a Severe Alcoholic.
5. Designated Driver: Is sober. Their vote counts as two votes. Is told they are an Alcoholic.
6. Severe Alcoholic: Is so drunk that their vote doesn't count. Is told they are an Alcoholic.
7-?. Alcoholic: Vanilla role, except more drunk.
Host Clarifications:
If both the BAR and Bartender target the same player, the actions are negated.
All "vanilla" human roles are told they are an Alcoholic, and are not made aware of when their status changes.

If there's one thing my games are known for, it's trying their hardest to be funny. If only you could see the original flavor text that this had when I ran it on another forum.
ill need some time to digest whats even going on here...
A reminder to any potential hosts that you have until Wednesday to submit your game!!!
Also, questions for THC:
1. If none of the wolves submit a wolfing, is anyone wolfed?
2. I'm assuming that the BAR can also turn Designated Drivers into Alcoholics, basically working like the opposite of the Bartender?
3. If both the BAR and Bartender target the same player, do their actions essentially negate each other?
4. Are players informed when their Alcoholic status changes?
5. Are there cardflips?

I've updated the game post with info regarding each of these.
I think THC is running uncontested. I'm still interested in running my game, but I'm moving to start a new job in the next couple of weeks, so I won't be able to do that until my schedule levels out a bit. Will still play, though
THC, do the wolf and special human roles all have their votes locked at 1? As in, the BAR and the Bartender can't change them either up or down?
Assassin's Gambit (10p)

The Town wins when both Assassins are dead.
A last-minute entry, I see :P Gonna put the poll up now.
Kai that looks like it slaps

If I'm understanding it correctly, the only people who know they're not Normal Townies are the Hot Targets?
And the assassins too, I'd presume

Why thank you!
I came up with this while trying to riff on "Assassin" style setups in more conservative IM/UR strains where the hidden info is distributed a bit differently than the normal game. All sides have pretty equitable attack surfaces, and there's some associatives + hidden info that everyone is looking for, despite there only being 2 solo "wolves".
Note that all this means that the game will have a Day Start, however, so if that's a deal-breaker for you, (redistribute your) vote accordingly!(will edit this into the setup post if possible)

This is correct.
You can go ahead and post your player sign-ups whenever!!!
Ahh! I forgot when the poll closed. Will do shortly
