Title: Limestone Cave
Instrumentation Solo Piano
Arrangers: Jacopo Tore (https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=4805) & Federico Mariane (https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=7223)
- I'm not 100% sure, but I think this track is in C minor. Even though it creates some accidentals, the bass pattern doesn't really fit into C major in my opinion
- Can you add a dynamic marking at the beginning?
- m4: The A at beat 4 sounds like A natural, not A flat
- m14: The G in the RH sounds the same length as m12, m10, etc. Can you make it a whole note?
- We recently updated our Formatting Guidelines (https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/index.php?topic=12766), can you make sure you're using the recommended fonts for the tempo marking?
That's MaestroTimes size 16 for the notehead, and Times New Roman size 12 for the numbers and =
While I agree that the bass line has more of a neutral tonality, the Melody's natural 3rd and 7th scale degrees in m. 1 & 5 make it fairly clear that the tonic is in a major key. This applies to the other stage themes as well, and if you listen to all of them layered onto each other (https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/pjptuhajftkbafok99eje/All-Dragon-Buster-Stage-Themes-Combined.mp3?rlkey=j2gaes9nbljzn9u0y31n5a5zu&dl=0), I think you'll be able to hear the C major sound across the board. This, of course, applies to the other submission as well.

If I select the indicated font, what you can see in the PDF happens.
Furthermore, I did not find the word MaestroTimes in the guidelines

Yes, that's an unfortunate side effect. If you copy this symbol
Πinstead of the q, then the note should appear. In the future, you can use the new template files found on the guidelines page, then it will be fixed automatically.
As for MaestroTimes, we say in the guidelines to use Finale's Maestro series of fonts, and MaestroTimes is the one that's best suited for tempo markings. Sorry if that wasn't clear!

Seems you might have forgotten this point? Happy to approve after this and the tempo note are updated, the rest of the changes look good!

Ok the simbol now it's ok but the PDF isn't. Do you know why?
I'm not sure, I was able to export one that worked: [Download] (https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/844835144242298910/1164478741301432350/limestone_cave.pdf)

ok
Looks like the files are correct now as far as tempo marking - just small ask to change the file names as opposed to being 2023 template lol
You could add staccatos to a few of the RH notes - m1-m3 3.0 the quarter note is not full length. Similarly, m4 1.0, and the whole notes in m8, m10, m12 are all shorter than the value there. I know it was already mentioned about being consistent with note lengths, but this is a separate idea of how long these consistent lengths should be.
- If you do do this note length change, you could also make m14 RH 1.0 a staccato quarter note for consistency
Also, I agree that this should be C major

ok I think this is the right thing.
The right hand is simply played "slegato" maybe I can add this word to the score?
I corrected the wrong values.
Thx
I think you could add "Selgato", but I do not see updated files
Bumping for the arrangers, are you still around to update this sheet? Can add Selgato but also need to address this comment

There are still portions of my comment not addressed.

Could you name the file like Dragon Buster Limestone Cave or something? Just would be easier for us when uploading.
Are you not hearing m1-3 RH beat 3 shorter? They sound staccato. Please see full comment.

Ok I did it!
I didn't understand, I apologize

No worries, though I should have clarified that m1-3 the rhythm length would then also be the same for m6-7 RH. Will give the
approval on this, just update for the next updater.
ok thank you i did it!
ok i did it
Looking good! A few small comments:
- The PDF exported has a large gap at the top, could you fix the page size?
- In the right hand, I think all the notes should be written as eighths. M4 beat 1, m5 beat 3, and beat 1 of m8, 10 and 12 would need to be adjusted
did it!
Thanks! One last thing: The rest in m4 should be split into two eighth rests.
