Edit: There's a Canalave Day and a Canalave Night song. To save you the trouble of listening to both and deciding, I'll combine them into one arrangement (with the first playthrough being day, and the other night).
Edit 2: Screw the night part. It's the same as day with a modified tempo and in an octave lower.
Edit 3: Should be done by tomorrow. Er... This afternoon. Jazzy part is annoying. >_>

What I would do is actually notate each echo of the chord, then add a decrescendo to make each one fade out. I believe with Finale 2009 you can do it so the decrescendo only affects the bass, also.
DOUBLE POST, WOOO. Yeah forum courtesy can be overlooked when a bump is necessary for help to be received!
