Sorry to be an ass here, dahans, but I think this has to be brought up sooner or later. I've noticed your prescence around here, and appreciate your enthusiasm, but could you please restrict the use of posts like the two above here? I've seen it in several topics, posts that doesn't really add to anything but your post count. Try to put a bit more structure into your initial posts, and write "you" with all three letters. You'll notice that people answer more seriously in serious and well thought-out topics.
Again, sorry, I know this is a mod's job, I guess it's that I'm used to the strict rules of the other forum I'm on, where such behaviour has led to bannage quite a few times.

But the topic is interesting, after all, and I'm going to give a serious answer to it. Useless posting is after all what I warned about initially, and forums usually look a lot better without it.

I use the Wii most, used to have a GameCube as well, but it lost its job after the Wiii came around with backwards compability. Other than that, I have a couple of faithful GBAs and a DS, and I play a bit of PC as well.
So all in all, I've grown up with Nintendo, and the occassional PC game. Maxis is really my style (never played Spore, so no disappointment there), and I like strategy as well. I will recommend the (a tad old) Ukrainian game Cossacks to everyone, it's the most awesome RTS I've ever played.

You forgot Gameboy, Gameboy color, NES, and SNES, Sega, Sega Genesis, and all of the other 16 bit systems.

And dahans, I didn't mean to be rough, just tried to give some advice (perhaps I worded it badly). If you have more to say, after you submitted your post, there's a "modify" button. Click it, and you can completely edit your post, with no need for making a new one straight after your first one.

oh I did not know thx and concerning sega and all those 16-bit systems: Do you really still play them? Or gameboy color? I could add them, but I thought that this wasn't necessary.

I play the 360, PC, PSP, and DS.  There's really no point in playing the Wii, the "good" games only last a few weeks and there hasn't been any good games for it in a very long time.

ever since my 360 red-ringed on me about 3 weeks ago, i haven't played much and i also have my finals...

but under normal circumstances i would just say that i play ds and pc with touches of 360/wii...

I play f2p's on my PC, melee on my game cube, and madworld and animal crossing on my wii

Madworld and Animal Crossing...the most/least violent games on Wii...

like the poles of a magnet. One with absolutely no violence,alcohol, or anything bad unless one of your friends is a dirty mouth when you play on-line with him. The other is the most violent and bloody game ever made for a nintendo platform, tons of drug references, cursing including the frequent use of the f-bomb, and in one level you have to save asian hookers from a tower in asian town.

Basically the game was a test in a way. Sega wanted to see just how far they could push the limit on everything Nintendo does not stand for content wise and still be able to get the game passed for a Nintendo platform. MadWorld was the result.

They sell them for thirty dollars at the Play N' Trade(A.K.A the only video game store franchise not owned by Game Stop).

I actually have a working NES, but I haven't used it in years. It's not worth it, as all 5 or so of the games I have for it have been rereleased.

Speaking of rereleases, I'm looking foward to RE1 and RE3 on Wii, and FFVI on DS. FFVI is pretty much my favorite game ever, so I'm thrilled.
The Metroid Prime Trilogy disc bothers me, though, because I just went and bought Prime 2 and Prime 3.

We'd expect you to be thrilled about an FF release. I'm going to buy a SNES as soon as I get the cash I loaned to a friend back. I'm spent becuase of it. :-[

On the topic of consoles, I have to wonder where Nintendo will go after the Wii. Another motion-control system would be repetitive (but I wouldn't put it past them,) and returning to a standard control style would probably be viewed by their exectutives as a step backward. So unless Nintendo invents the Virtual Reality System, they could go down after this. A world without Nintendo would be a scary one, indeed.

I just got a PS3!!!

I needed a Blu-Ray player, and the basic PS3 was only slightly more expensive, so I bought it.

Basic? They don't sell 'em anymore. However, the cheapest one (80 GB) is about $250-300.

I play about everything on the PC now.  I can play any old consoles up to Wii or PS2 on emulator, so it works quite well for me ^^

I kind of wish I had a PS3 for Metal Gear, Ratchet and Clank, and some of the other Sony exclusive series, but I don't really have the time to play games much anyway so it's not worth the cost.

SNES and PS2. Sometimes PC for games like Assasin's Creed or Fallout 3.

In this period I'm using my Ps2 and my 3Ds.

Wii (duh), XBox 360, (Iused to have a regular XBox, but it broke), NES 64, DS (the regular one, not a DSi, or lite), SNES (it's at my grandparents house, does that count?), and a PC (obviously).

Does a Wii count for Gamecube, because you can play Gamecube games on the Wii? If so, than I also play the Gamecube.

Most of them are my brother's though, and I haven't even played most of them.
