Alright, thanks.

Will 2008 users be able to open it?

2008 users can't open it, no. I can't open it on this computer. But 2009 reader is completely free, so there shouldn't be any issues. :)

What are your favorite games? Make a list, then a list of the songs you like, then choose one. Or, you could go to the request board, and see if you want to do any of those.

Yeah, by me actually. Welcome to this site. Are you a big fan of Pokémon? Then check my list of arrangements out before you start arranging please, I've done quite a lot. And there are some things that should be fixed in your version. Do you want me to tell you which?

May I suggest the Route 12 music from Pokémon Red/Blue, or some of the Battle Frontier/Battle Tent Themes from Emerald? They aren't done yet, and have the potential to sound awesome.

I have a request thread somewhere in the Request section, with lots of suggestions for Pokémon music. If you want to arrange some more Pokémon music, have a look!

Update: I love this song, but its pretty boring. Doesn't sound right on piano. I seem to have got the timing spot on.

Cavern in the Lake from Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum

Route 12 is the same as Route 3.

Unfortunately I know this on Piano so I'd never be able to translate a different version to Finale without copying it.

pleasantly... difficult haha. It might take me a while.

Keep in mind that there is a modify button on the lower right of the post. Use this to edit in your arrangements into your first post. That way, everyone doesn't have to look though the whole topic just to find your arrangements. Alrighty?

The same song plays on Route 11, 12 and 13.

Route 3, East of Pewter City, plays a different theme:

Yeah. Game Music Themes has Route 12's theme listed as Route 3.

So instead, I shall work on Route 3 :P

UPDATE ----

The notes and rhythm in the bassline are fine -- but for some reason I can't get the key for the melody. It's too low at the moment. Can anyone help?

worked on for about 10 minutes, takes me forever.

Umm... I must have forgotten to mention that. The Route 3 song is already on this site, but under the name "Route Theme 2". If you think your version will be better, keep arranging it, but the song already on site is sufficent.

In the same way, GMT's song is titled "Route Theme 3". It's the thrid Route Theme you encounter, not to say that it's played on Route 3.

I only intend to be useful as such and do not make songs that have already been created.

No idea what to do now :P

You can always try the big brother version of Route 12?

This is from Pokémon Stadium:

Nostalgia?

Haha, I guess so. I can only compose music from the gameboy games, because I have a poor ear at the moment and can only cope with the one instrument.

Ermmm, bump. I added the Mom Theme from GSC -- which took forever :( It's bang on, I think.

Great job with these!  The notes seem right on from what I can hear.  The only thing I might suggest is in the notation.  Use different enharmonics, especially in the Mom Theme.  Those Db's on beat 1 are most likely C#'s due to the A's and E's in the base line.  It's probably in A major (You should probably put that in the key signature as well).  The Db's on beat 4 are fine, though, because they are chromatically lowering the 4.  Still, you have an amazing ear!  :)

Haha, I just fixed it to A Major before I read this :P Thank you! Although this song was relatively simple, I have the crystal ROM on my laptop.
