This topic is for telling us you're worst fears, what you fear might happen, or anything with fear. But oh god nothing with Fear Factor ok?
My worst fear are snakes, I hate them so much, they scare me more than anything in the world.

My worst fear is that I have to have an endoscopia or gastroscopia. I'd rather die!
Pretty much any insect that I didn't grow up to know as safe. I can have one of the local centipedes crawl on me with no problems, because they aren't really gross and I know they're harmless...but anything else I'm scared to death by. Any other form of centipede, spiders, earwigs, bees, wasps, other flying things...ugh..pretty much anything but my local ants, centipedes, and pillbugs I'm afraid of...oh and the normal flies...bigger flies scare the shit out of me because on of my teachers a long time ago once told me they rip chunks out of you..fuck...
damn insects...oh god..earwigs...gross...I saw one in the bathroom the other day..I always shake out my bathing suit for earwigs because my friend a long time ago once told me his had earwigs in it..
Heights
Water
Wild animals
Bees haven't really scared me ever since I got stung by one. Also snakes, meh. Saw three snakes by the stairs at our summer cottage. Took a few photos, seemed quite harmless.
SHIT.

Any bug or spider.
Kefkatic: ya i would NOT want to do that either O_O
i dont like heights, the dark im ok with as long as someone else is there, mostly i hate those guard dogs (or watever) that leave their mouth hanging open like its about to attack >_> so pretty much, rabid dogs.... (like rottweilers, sp?)
My fears: Death of other people, heights, being rejected, ghost images...
Im also claustrophobic.
Mine would be heigts and water.
I've never been scared of water.
I used to be scared of heights until I rode a really big roller coaster, which drove me into a frenzy that ended up me riding every coaster in the park regardless of size.
I'm not claustrophobic.
And I'm not scared of insects anymore due to camping. I still try to avoid them, and obviously kill spiders that are in my house.
I guess stuff that gets to me is a few Horror movies and games like F.E.A.R.
The only reason why I'm scared of water is because I almost drowned when I was ~5 years old. I don't think I would be afraid if that incident wouldn't have happened.
WOW, that's hard. What has happened?
Well there was a party at my aunt's house, and everyone was in the backyard, except my cousin and I, we were playing right next to the swimming pool. My cousin dropped her toy in the swimming pool, so I tried to get it back, but I fell right into it. Since there was loud music, no one could hear me, and no one actually saw me falling. And since my cousin was 2 or 3 years old, she couldn't really do anything. Hopefully I managed to get out of the pool all by myself... Still don't get how I did that though.
Any insect (oh, alright, ants are okay :P), heights (but only if there isn't anything, such as a railing, to stop a fall or whatever), depths of the ocean over 100 metres. First probably caused by when I was in the shower when a cockroach about the size of my fist climbed up a wall a few inches away from my face. Second, well, the majority of people would fear that, so it isn't really any problem. Third, probably both inherited from my Mum who watched Titanic when she was 9 and got scarred for life, and playing too much Endless Ocean. :-\

I mean seriously. :o Anyone else get spooked by that?
Im also afraid of ocean's depths...
Oh yeah, heights and the ocean. I really never want to go in the ocean, freshwater lakes are fine, but I can not handle the thought of sharks and squids etc..even if they are "harmless to humans".
To be honest, I'm not scared of marine life, as such, but being caught in an ocean current, being too far under sea level and drowning. There's so much water! :P
Quote from: Harvest on July 31, 2009, 07:38:14 PMOh yeah, heights and the ocean.
Humans are meant to stay on the ground. XD
You know how at dark you start to 'see' things in the dark? well that's me. oh and the future. It isn't set in stone and i think about it the whole time.
All the other common phobias are meh to me, bugs, heights, etc.
Now that i think about it, I don't really have any irrational fears. I used to be scared of spiders - now I'm just like: DIIIIEEEE *squishes spider with a dumbbell)
I'm also scared of fire, but that fear still doesn't compare to snakes. Every time I go outside at night time, I get the chills and become very aware of whats going on around me because of the fact that there could be a snake around.
I'm afraid of darkness. No, not really the darkness itself. I fear things that could be in it. Like when I stay awake until late in the night and switch of my computer and all lights... my bed is in another room and I still have to go there. It is pitch black everywhere. Now, everytime I open my door to get out I'm thinking about some guy standing behind the door in the dark. I didn't even watch some horror in the past which could have scared me like that... Having a midnight walk is no problem though. :'(

Sometimes I dream stuff that I immediately forget when I wake up, then days, months or years later I experience Deja Vu and realise I dreamt about it. And occasionally, I dream about something so much that I'm thoroughly convinced that it's real. :P
Psychic, man. :o
QuoteThird, probably both inherited from my Mum who watched Titanic when she was 9 and got scarred for life, and playing too much Endless Ocean.
Your mum was born in 1988?
Same things here, really. I thrive best above 1 meter below the ocean surface, and below 2 meters above the ground. Also, I don't like fire. Sudden shocks also scare the excrements out of me.
What's funny is that I'm scared shitless of heights, yet I love going skiing and go on ski lifts all the time. I also really want to fly a jet sometime.
Perhaps its not the heights that scare us, it's the falling from heights that gets us going.
Yap. Im
Quote from: KefkaticFanatic on August 01, 2009, 07:39:00 AMscared shitless of heights
too, but I love Roller coasters, skiing, high pool boards (7 mts max), aquatic parks, etc..
The occasions where I get really frightened is when Im at the top of a building, and I look downstairs. I almost die with a heart attack
Yeah, I love rollercoasters too. I guess it's just a ton of fun to challenge my fear, yeah I have the same deal with just looking down from some huge height and freaking out.

Umm... the older version of Titanic. ;D I'm not too sure, it was either the original movie if there was one, or a documentary about it. She was born in '69. :P
I think I failed...
