You may only make one post in this topic with your submissions. Subsequent posts will be deleted. Edit your posts to respond to any comments I may have. This is not for holding discussions. General questions go in the Questions Thread. Specific questions can be PM'd.
For the next update, you may post 3 New songs + ∞ Replacements you think are ready for submission.
So basically, you can submit as many replacement arrangements as you want, but only 3 new ones.
Please indicate if your submission is a replacement, it makes things much easier.
I HAVE UPDATED THE FORMATTING GUIDELINES. READ THEM HERE (http://www.ninsheetm.us/smf/index.php?topic=481.0) AND FOLLOW THEM!
Any extra posts will be deleted. I will edit your post with rejection reasons, or to tell you it's accepted. I may accept all or just one or none of your submissions.
So, in a lovely step-by-step process:
1. Perfect up to 3 songs for submission
2. Make sure they are formatted PERFECTLY
3. Post links to the submissions here, mus and midi
4. Did I mention I want them perfectly formatted? Repeat steps 2 and 3 if you didn't listen to me
5. I will review submissions and post acceptance/rejection feedback whenever I can.
6. Sometime in December, I'll close the thread to Submissions.
7. I'll wait 1 day if any modifications need to be made and then all accepted songs will be uploaded and we'll start this circus again
Got it? If yes, make your post and submit your songs! If not, PM me with questions.
Questions I've Received (or made up):
-Do I need to break up a medley? No, it counts as one submission
-Do I have to include copyright and the site URL? Yes. The copyright is just <Publisher> © <Year Published> without the <> obviously. The URL is http://www.ninsheetm.us/
-How do I make a MIDI? Open the MUS in Finale, click File>Save As... and choose MIDI from the dropdown list.
-When can we submit? Now! Just do it.
-Can I still submit after you've swept-through the posts? Yes. You can submit up until I post that the thread is closed for submissions.
I will post a list of accepted arrangement under here as they are accepted.

There's a thread just for PDF submissions, and we have quite a bit done
KINGDOM HEARTS
This is Halloween
MID (http://www.mediafire.com/?40ng1y6gb3y22mp)
MUS (http://www.mediafire.com/?tar54p6e1l672cy)
Just downloaded Finale PrintMusic! xD
Deku:
Is this from 358/2 Days or just normal KH?
Slow:
It's from both--Halloween Town is in both of the games, with the same arrangement of the song, but since Kingdom Hearts was the original game, that's what I'm listing it under.
Deku:
Formatting's nonexistant, and there are a few wrong notes and a number of inconsistencies. But I'm feeling nice so I fixed it. Accepted.
Slow:
Wow, thanks! xD I forgot all about formatting when I did this--I think I first wanted to make sure it would be accepted.

Deku:
EGGMAN: Accepted, but try to pay a little more attention to rhythm groupings. Also, the little section in 8/4 seems a little unneccesary. But if for some reason you really want it left as 8/4, I'll leave it.
Bed time.
PianoMan:
I did the 8/4 because for that section the rhythm suddenly changes into a pair of three beats three beats two beats. I figured two measures of 8/4 would be better than a pair of 3/4 3/4 2/4.
Deku:
I still don't think that warrants a time signature change. My internets gone a bit shitty for the moment, so I can't download your other 2.
Internet's working. Your other 2 are also accepted.
Here's my one offering this time.
{Wii} Super Paper Mario
The Ultimate Show â€" MUS (http://www.mediafire.com/?4pzpf0i940cdi5t) â€" MIDI (http://www.mediafire.com/?y8tqt8cxzkk5oky)
Deku:
Just a note to remind myself to add the others from last update.
Probably some small improvements that could be made here and there in the left hand but it'd take way too much time and effort to sit there and nut it out, so I'll accept it.

I dunno, it feels like it needs a little something more in some areas, mainly in the left hand from the repeat sign onwards. Also, I think it could do with a few articulations, mainly staccatos, like shadoninja said.
I shouldn't post here, but shadowkirby, make sure to put both the MIDI and MUS up at the same time, and you should use one post instead of 2 :p
Oh by the way, I may have my first submission next week :)

Lol, course I can, most people here are pretty passionate about music. I didn't start arranging for the site till a few days ago, but I've been writing for a while and it's very similar, except the music's written for me :)

Deku, is there still time to submit one more?
Yeah, you'd probably better get whatever you can in for this one. It may be a little while before the next one.
That's sad to hear, maybe I would be able to upload if everyone else is busy :)

Deku:
Updating is not just about uploading sheets. There tends to be a fair amount of minor error fixing.
Also, for updates done by me, you only need to send in a Mus file, don't bother about midi or pdfs.
Right, on with the show. I'm not sure if Finale Notepad can do proper pickup measures, but if it can, it's under Document-> Pickup measure...
Also, one other picky, weird music theory thing: generally, when you have a chromatic line that goes down, it's preferable use flats, likewise when you have a chromatic line that goes up, it's better to use sharps. I think it's got something to do with making it easier to read. Obviously this is subject to change depending on the key of the piece etc, but it's a general guideline nonetheless. Yay, bonus music theory.
Oh, and accepted.
It's not that I don't have time, it's just that for all the time I spend doing updates, I spend less time doing my own stuff. Actually, since starting updating, I think I've only arranged 1 perhaps 2 songs. I only want a week, or so off. It's not that long considering the history of NSM :P Actually, it might be an opportunity to try out a slightly modified submissions system, which hopefully might work. Or not. I dunno.
On a side note, for anyone who hasn't submitted anything, or still wants to submit more, I'll leave this one open until the end of the year. I'll try to get it all uploaded on the 1st.
Yeah, I'm definitely interested to see the new Submission system.
Trust me, it's nothing special. And I mean nothing. It's only a slight variation.
If the "Edit" Tab would allow us to do more than delete than that, that would be nice, cause once or twice I have added the wrong PDF.
Yeah, it happens, but it's not the end of the world. Unfortunately, it's not like JaMaHa has alot of time on his hands to fix that up.
What Deku is talking here isn't the same thing what I might have perhaps mentioned on IRC.
Just FYI.
Meh, no-one tells me anything anyway.
It's not like I have told anyone.
Except winterkid.
sooo, um....are my arrangements in the clear for the next update??
Righteo JaMaHa, but I still stick to my previous statement: No-one tells me anything :P
Olimar: I'm getting there. The going's a little slow this time around for some reason. It just so happens that you're the second-to-last person to post submissions so you're kind of near the bottom of the pile of submissions to look through. I've still got 3 to go over before I get to yours, then winter's.
Edit: All done.
thanks! i was just trying to get you guys back on topic ;)
I think we'll call submissions for this one closed. But I guess, If you really want to, you could still add more before the end of today, MY time. It's on my forum profile.
I shouldn't post here, but l have question's: when is the Update ???
