1. Master Wolf - Wolf seered Green. Sends the Host a PM every Night Phase with a 300 character or less tribune to place in a tribune at the end of the Night Phase. The Wolf and Tribune tribunes are not differentiated by the Host.

I changed Psychic to Red because I thought it would be more fun, but if you would like to keep it Blue then you can; the game is still quite balanced either way.
Anyway, as far as what we're going to do in the game. I'm very curious on how this tribune system will work out; we're going to need to discern between the Human and Wolf tribunes every Phase and that's going to be super fun! However, we should all take note that we're going to be going through the first Night (This one) and Day Phases blind (As in, we won't have any confirmed Blues that will lead us or be able to help us). But anyway, you Blues had better be active or else I'll hate you forever and ever!
Speaking of Night Phases though, there's a chance that I may be wolfed. :(
Fortunately though, I'm Human.
But idk mebbe tats a ly!?!?!?!?!
Nevertheless though, I would prefer that the Seer not seer an experienced player and try to be more creative in his seering choices; if the wolves in this game decide to follow the Manti Rule, it would be redundant to have accidentally seered a player that died the same Phase (Though, the chances of this are somewhat low, I'm just too paranoid!). But nonetheless, I feel that it's natural for people to be wary of the more experienced players anyway, so if the Seer would like to seer me, or any other experienced player, be my guest.
Btw, Tribunes and Seer have to/can use their powers this phase.
And yes, I'm making the Tribunes mandatory.

The wolves have no need to wolf me on the first night again because until I finish summer reading, I'm not going to be very active.
Plus I'm only an ordinary human. So Inactivity + No special role = not much of a threat to you.
So my advice is to put your priority on someone else who will be more of a threat.

Even if you think they could possibly be a blue or a normal human, don't risk it.

"Skip, skip, skip!" Adelaide said in a jovial manner. "One, two, one two, one, two, three!" she yelled as she gleefully hopped from stepping stone to stepping stone.
Suddenly, a rabbit appeared in front of her. "That's odd", Adelaide thought inquisitively. "Oh dear little rabbit! If I may inquire, what could you possibly be doing here?". The rabbit hopped towards her and stared at her with a clueless expression. It glanced behind Adelaide and turned back.
"Oh, rabbit, please do stay! I have no one to talk to!" Adelaide stated in a demanding, but gentle tone. The rabbit ignored her apprehensive demeanour and left. Adelaide, as persistent as she was, chased after the leporine creature with great vigor. As she was crossing the river on the stepping stones to catch up, she slipped and fell. The water's transparency abated and began reflecting Adelaide's cute countenance. She fell through...
When Adelaide awoke, she found herself in her bedroom. A shattered mirror was in front of her. "Oh my! Are any of my attendants near? Please do tidy up this mess." she called.
A glimmering light encircled Adelaide. "Hmm? What could this possibly be?" Adelaide thought aloud. The dazzling light came to a halt in front of Adelaide and in a flash, a petite blue haired fairy appeared in front of her.
"Are you my fairy god mother?" Adelaide exclaimed exuberantly.
"What? No, eye'm Cirno and eye'm a genius!" Cirno exclaimed.
"Wow, I've certainly never met a genius as young and handsome as you before! It's a pleasure." Adelaide said, while curtsying.
"Handsome? Eye'm not male! Eye'm a female ice fairy!" Cirno said while blushing.
"Oh, oh, oh dear, I didn't mean to offend you! Please don't leave me." Adelaide stuttered with a worried disposition.
"Hmm, fine, Eye'll forgive you this once." Cirno said.
Adelaide rushed up to Cirno and embraced her vehemently. A tear dropped across Adelaide's face. She finally had an (ostensibly) endearing friend she could play with!
They played for what felt like hours and hours. Well, it was hours and hours, but you know what I mean.
It finally came time to go to bed. Adelaide gave out a yawn and she smiled as her serene eyes watched the already sleeping Cirno. Her eyes became drowsy and Adelaide became weary. She was fatigued by the playing, but due to her tenacity, she wanted to remain awake.
"Maybe I'll close my eyes for a few short moments..." she said, becoming dormant and falling asleep in mere seconds.
When she awoke from her deep and extensive rest (Which, to her, was only a transient moment passing by), Adelaide looked beside her, expecting to see the face of her new friend. But instead, she found nothing.
She sprang up, looking to and fro the room for her beloved friend. She mumbled effusive words and went into tears.
Night one is over. Winterkid09 is dead. It is now Day one. Day one ends Thursday, July 21, 2011, at 9:00 PM.

Anyway, although it's long, I highly recommend that all other players read the log. The log contains information that could be pertinent to the game (Such as some people's views on each others, opinions on the Tribune, etc.), so it's very informative.

I understand that it's Day 1 and evidence for things is weak, but we have to make a lynch, so we have to make a decision. Apparently, quite a few of you are busy, but from my knowledge, quite a few of you never seem to ever contribute very much at all. This needs to change or TWG Policy will have to become a bit stricter. Perhaps I may be being a bit over reactive (But really, only about 10 hours before the Phase is up and we've had 5 safeties already?), but TWG is never going to improve if we stay like this.
Also, apparently, fingerz has only played one TWG here before (TWG XVII: Duos) (Though, I could have sworn he has played more), so I suppose my argument about his indolent disposition is somewhat mute at the moment, since I don't actually have any proof that he always acts like this. Though, despite that, I'll still contemplate lynching him for inactivity, for the same argument that's supporting him (We don't know how he acts as a Wolf, but hypothetically, if he's lazy as a Human, he's probably lazy as a Wolf).
But nevertheless, it's time to try to kindle everyone's thoughts and start a discussion. I'll be voting for Universe-X. My suspicion towards him began after his response to the Tribune being made.

"It's not unexpected, I have a real strong feeling that he's a blue" does not sit well with me. The response seems contrived and atypical (I'm sure most others would have said, "It was random", "Inexperienced players did it", or "Experienced players are Wolves, so they don't want to follow the Manti Rule", et. al. Considering that Universe-X is busy and ostensibly lacks care about the game (Which I'm doubting considering how active he has been in the chat), I'm beginning to think this is just a web of lies.

However (Although, I'm sure I'm over speculating now), it took him 2 minutes to respond. It should also be noted that at the beginning of this log, Universe-X wants time to think. If he were Human, he should already know his reasons for doing the things he he does. Of course, it's plausible for people to be people and forget things, but it should be noted that all of this occurred only a few hours apart, it seems very unlikely for a person to have forgotten the reason behind the things he has done.
Anyway, there's my argument. I'm hoping to at least get a reaction from everyone, so don't disappoint me, everyone!

1) Ever think it was in the moment and I didn't feel like analyzing things at that moment?
2) Once again, I was thinking more "in the moment" rather than analytically. If you had brought up this sort of thinking in the irc, I would've changed my mind, but from this log it seems like everyone was out to attack me.
3) That is my reason as to why I thought it was funny. It doesn't have to be some "poor and fabricated excuse".
4) It's not unexpected. Winter, from what I've seen, is pretty good at TWG. As far as why I feel he was blue, I admit, I don't have any real reasoning, but I've made gut decisions like this before. More often than not proving true. Am I saying that means anything in this instance? No. Actually, my thought that "Winter is blue" is probably left over spunk about last game, where I believe he was first to be wolfed and later found out to be blue.
5) I was hoping for more of an insightful response to what I said for this portion, not when I said it or how. Jub was aggressively interrogating me to the point where it annoyed me, to be frank. I did say it was Concerto, but took it back once I saw he was trying to figure it out too. If that's part of some plan or whatever, I don't know. As far as time stuff, yes, I was texting people; yes, I was on facebook doing stuff; yes, I was watching a youtube video at the moment. TWG's not my main priority, my main priority is calming down from stuff going on at home which I have made it aware well enough that there is stuff that is stressing me out these days. You are definitely over-speculating. I did an all-nighter the night before and it was around midnight the time you guys barraged me with all those questions. Of course I needed time to think -__- Just because I'm human, doesn't mean I should have all my evidence ready and at hand when called upon. I didn't forget, more or less, I was thinking about how I put my thoughts into words.
But whatever, you know, it's cool. I don't mind getting lynched, it would actually take a load of stress off of me. And to avoid wasting time that I could spend doing... something else, (that is if I do end up staying alive after this phase), I'm not gonna spend anymore time on this game.

naw but seriously, that tribune could go either way but it really doesn't matter at this point except for whether one wolf is inactive or not. That's it. No other purpose in talking about it.

Mashi acused ux of wolfery. Now I'm not entirely sure I agree with him on that and it kinda seems like Mashi's pulling things out of the air to frame ux with. BUT it seemed like that in MAshi's epic battle with Askalice and what did it askalice turn out to be? wolf.

Mashi- banning people isn't going to solve the problem of activity. In-game penalties would be much more suitable.
If I'm not mistaken, 9 EST is 6 my time, which is half an hour from now. And I have to leave real soon. So, from what I've read, Mashi has been good at analyzing players and figuring them out, so I'm gonna go with universe-x. Now I know trusting a player is what made me screw over TWG II, but it IS only the first round, and I'm running out of time.

"Cirno! Cirno!" Adelaide called. She rushed out of the room she was in and entered an austere hallway. The walls were a vapid dull colour of grey and the few ornaments that hung upon them were a few dirty lamps dully giving a bit of light.
"My dear Cirno, wherever could you be?", her voice echoing across the hall. "Maybe... maybe she's playing hide and seek... Yes, yes she must be!" Adelaide assured herself. "Cirno! Please do come out! I'm quite worried about you. Fun and games is one thing, but not if someone is hurt in the process." Adelaide called out, only to hear the sounds of her emitted voice echo back to her sporadically.
"Hmph. Well, if you'll like to be that way, then I suppose I shall just condone your rude behaviour until you fancy up and behave in the correct manner of things." Adelaide said vexed. "And don't think I'll care if you come back without an apology." she added.
Adelaide then began walking through one part of the hallway. As she continued walking, the light from the lanterns began to perish in such an inexplicable way that it became putrid to look. Any solace light would ordinarily have provided was dearth in the ambiance of the hallway Adelaide was in. She looked to and fro, only to be greeted by walls.
Adelaide began humming a tune in her head in order to distract herself from the deleterious hallway. It had been working well until she heard something thud to the ground behind her.
Adelaide quickly turned around, making sure to circumspect all that she could see. She waited for what appeared to be a few minutes and continued walking, though, at an evidently quicker pace.
Finally, Adelaide approached what seemed to be the end of the hallway. To her left, however, was a room seemingly identical to the one Adelaide and Cirno had been in. The only difference was that there were no shard of glass from a broken mirror present. Instead, the mirror was fully intact. Adelaide entered the room and stared at her image in the mirror. She looked quite different than she remembered.
"How peculiar, I could have sworn I was 8 years old." she said, twirling around to have a full view of herself. "Hmm, I look as if I'm at least a year or two older now." she stated. She looked at her countenance more meticulously. Her face was pale and her expression appeared extremely abject. Adelaide smiled, but the melancholic image ostensibly reflecting her image did not alter. Adelaide waved her hand and the image in the mirror did so in return simultaneously.
An image flashed on the mirror. Adelaide's disposition became frantic. She smashed the palm of her hand into the mirror, shattering it into pieces. "Oh, anything to be rid of such an atrocious enormity." she said, tears rolling across her cheeks. She looked at her hand, which was bleeding after being scathed by a few broken pieces of glass.
She heard a thud behind her.
All she could see was black.
Day one is over. Universe-x is dead. It is now Night Two, Night Two ends tomorrow, Friday, July 22, 2011, at 9:00 PM EST.

If a person doesn't care enough about a game to be active, he/she wouldn't care enough about in game penalties he/she receives. Not to mention that to punish a single player for his wrongs would most likely be detrimental to the team he/she is on, which is unfair to said team.

This is a fair point, but TWG is designed in order to suppress inactivity (Hence why we have Phantoms, for example). People are meant to converse in TWG in order to find the Wolves. Inactivity does not help in the case and is hurtful to both the Wolf and Human Teams a majority of the time. Rarely have I seen it used as a beneficial strategy.
But nevertheless, if the majority here would rather not give out bans, I'll acquiesce.

Okay, so since it's Night, I suppose I may as well try to give some tips to the Blues.
Okay, so Seer, if you seer anyone Blue, he's trustworthy and is either the Herring or Psychic, so claim to him and feel free to share anything and everything with him. If you get any green results, the player is most likely Human (But we have a Master Wolf, so be wary of that), so if you don't trust your acumen, it would probably be best not to claim to him. Though, it's highly probable that he is Human, so I would recommend that, for the moment, cross him off of your mental suspicion list and focus on finding people who are probably red Wolves that you haven't seered yet. We can focus on the Master Wolf later, since it's usually the hardest role to discern a player from.
As for the Tribune. If you seered anyone Red, I think it's evident that you should post it in the tribune. If you seer someone Blue, don't post it in the tribune. And if you seer someone green, it's up to you whether to post it in the tribune, though, I would recommend you do so, because it helps the Humans to try to find the Wolves as well.
Now, Psychic, you should focus on trying to correlate people with Wolves whenever a Wolf dies (Think of questions such as "Who defended him?", "Who was hesitant to vote for him?", "Who had an eccentric opinion about him?", "Who believed he was Human?", etc.). When only one Wolf remains, you should claim to the thread and tell us who the other two Wolves were. If it hasn't occurred already, the Seer and Tribune (If all 3 of you are miraculously alive) can claim to you and we can easily find the final Wolf if things go well. For now though, try to stay put.

With an apathetic expression, a young girl around 13 or 14 years of age strolled in a European slum in her home of Southampton, England. She stared to and fro. She could see dead people. Cars crashing into each other. Guns being fired from nowhere. She could see demons running about, terrorizing civilians and lampooning their petrified expressions. She could see her friends attempting to provide solace for her, but their presence was transient, for they would disappear when she cared to listen.
She stood in front of an ostentatious home. The windows shattered as she approached and the door opened up immediately for her. She tried to walk in, only to stumble back from what appeared to be a barrier between outside and inside the house. The door shut. She opened it again and walked in, with no hindrance. She heard a thump from behind her as she stepped in. She ignored it.
She climbed up the stairs and entered a long dusty hallway. Torches were dimly lit and little light came from the windows. She walked a bit and entered a room. The shattered remains of a mirror were spread out everywhere. Remnants of blood were distributed across the surface of nearly every shattered piece, as if they were broken individually. Music could be heard in another room. She exited the room she was in and walked down the rest of the hall. As the music grew louder, the light from the lamps abated. The hallway became sullen and dark.
After some time, she found herself in a room nearly identical to the previous room. A piano which had not been in either room was now present. Mozart's Concerto No. 20 in D Minor was being played, though, no keys were being pressed on the piano. She walked over to it and proceeded to pressing a few pieces. She arbitrarily began banging on notes and a cadence of such a mellifluous tone perpetrated her ears. The piano disappeared and the music abated.
"Adelaide, dinner time." someone called.
A thump was heard on the ground.
Night Two is over. Concerto No. 20 in D Minor is dead. It is now Day Two. Day Two ends Sunday, July 24, 2011, at 9:00 PM EST.
If no one really sent in a tribune due to inactivity, I hate the tribunes forever and ever.
Anyway, I would like to avoid what happened last Phase (The lynch on Universe-X was based off of plausible, but not extraordinarily strong evidence). Despite it being Day 1, had people contributed, we could have accomplished a great deal more.
Anyway, the lack of tribunes is really bothering me. Not sending in a tribune should not be a strategy considering tribunes are our only source of information. I'm especially disappointed in the Human Tribune (Unless it was Universe-X (Though, I would expect him to have claimed his Role if he was), but I'm doubting it).
Actually, Mister Purple brought up a good point in the chat, if the Human Tribune is wolfed, is his tribune still sent in? I would have intended all powers to occur simultaneously (For example, if a Vigi vigi'd someone and the Wolves wolfed the Vigi, both the Vigi's target and the Vigi would be killed. Or at least, this is what would happen in my experience). However, you're the Host, so it's your decision (And if he is the Tribune, Concerto's role would be revealed, which may be unfair to either side, depending on the scenario).
But anyway, people should get onto the chat to discuss the game, because we're already in a rough spot at the moment and we can't afford making any mistakes.
I completely forgot about tribunes especially considering NO ONE SENT ONE IN.
If the Tribune is wolfed, his tribune will still be published for that night.
I edited in the first part of the story on Page 2 when Night 1 ended. It's shorter than I had hoped, but I'll try to make the segments longer as I go on. I apologize in advance if it's atrocious though; I'm not a writer. :(

this one has A LOT more proof to back it up. As evidenced by the last few pages, we know that Mashi was the Herring, and also knows the identity of the human tribune and the Seer, so I find this one a lot more trustworthy and I believe it is the human one.
Although it could be the other way around, the all caps tribune attempting to appear human to give false information, but if that was so, why would the humans write a three-word tribune that would undoubtedly make it appear as a wolf tribune? If fingerz was truly seered, I think the human tribune would probably say more. That's why I believe the all caps tribune is human.
So I guess SFK is green then. And I will be expecting the human tribune writer to relay seerings.

The psychic won't be able to claim to Mashi anymore, and unless the psychic doesn't mind sacrificing himself, it would be better if he didn't claim at all...
Since the psychic didn't claim to Mashi while he was still alive, we either have:
1. An inactive psychic,
2. An inexperienced psychic, or
3. A dead psychic. :(
I'm fairly certain that this tribune was human, because it regarded a lot of issues rather than just who was seered the previous phase.
Also, this tribune was in all caps just like the tribune from night 1, which Mashi announced was from the humans.
Unfortunately, the tribune also mentions they won't be talking in all caps anymore due to the fact that the wolves would probably try to imitate this during the next night phase.

Since this is probably the wolf tribune (due to the reasons mentioned above), we can assume one of two things:
1. fingerz is
not red, or
2. They could have been using reverse psychology, attempting to appear wolfish so they could defend fingerz.
#1 is more likely, although there's no way to be 100% sure.
Now regarding my suspicions:
64 / e times MK apparently left the chatroom when questioned about whether or not Dude sent him a private message.
Usually we could expect denial about something like this from a human and a wolf, but avoiding the question would only fall into the wolf category.

OKAY, so an anonymous source has given infromed me that WRYDRYN has been seered red. So this can mean one of three things:
1)The Anonymous source was lying and is actually a wolf try to turn us in the wrong direction
2)The Anoymous source is telling me the truth and WRYDRYN is a wolf
3)That Anonymous source was telling the truth but WRYDRYN is the herring.(ermmm....wait wasn't Mashi the herring? If so, disregard this last option)
Just to inform you, and I'm not confirming anything, the Herring is a human Seer'd blue and the Miller is Seer'd red.

So if they are blue, then they are either the tribune or the seer.
Since you were seered green, it would make sense for a blue to trust you, but I don't see why a wolf would risk doing something like that.
If wry really is red, then there's only a small chance that he's going to be the miller.
At the beginning of the game, when I asked Mashi if he was suspicious of wry, and if wry was suspicious of Mashi, I got two different answers.
Mashi told me that he wasn't sure about wry, which would make sense, because it was only the beginning of the game.
Wry on the other hand told me that he was very suspicious of Mashi because he included himself in a list of possible wolves; and later we find out that Mashi is blue.
I just read back through all of wry's posts, and none of them contribute suspicions or ideas at all; they simply reflect either
1. Why he's inactive/Placing a safety
2. Restating the opinions of others/bandwagoning
3. Suggests to let phantoms decide who dies today?

D: The one time you guys organize everybody to be in the chat, I won't be able to make it! I'm always in the chat, but the ONE TIME... Anyway, I was going to wait to see how this developed, but since all the beans were spilled. Yes, I can confirm that Wry is one of the three that Mashi suspected of being a wolf. But I won't vote just yet, since I still have time to lurk and analyze and such.
I guess I'm the miller then.
But the idea behind the phantoms was just since the wolf(s) was inactive during the night phase they might be among the people who are inactive.
Also my suspicion on Mashi was never acted on, all I did was say that I thought he was suspicious, nothing else and not many people list themselves as a possible wolf which I thought could've meant that he was trying to use some sort of reverse psychology as he does do that.
We also didn't learn Mashi was Blue until late in the game. I said that very early in the game.
I also am on vacation so I'm doing things with my family and I know I won't be able to make the time for voting with a confident reason behind voting, thus the safeties.

So to sum it up, DRP, the Anonymous source, and WRYDRYN all the three top suspicions I am looking at. Now we know we've gotten rid of at least one wolf, and unless no wolfing occurs tonight as well, we'll know whether we've gotten two wolves(since there will be four of us left). WRYDRYN could easily be the miller. Or he might be playing a very good human. Either way, it's really between DRP and Wrydryn at this point for me.
Thank you for posting that log, and I sincerely apologize that I was not able to make it tonight, you all know I would've if I could. And now I'm glad I didn't vote too soon, because Wry is seeming less suspicious now, although he still is on the list. I don't want to make any bad choices though, so I'll thing about who to vote for overnight.
Well since nobody posted, and I have to vote now, double post, sorry.
I'm gonna go for DRP on this one. The reason I think that is because, I see Wry in the chat nearly every day. So he must be active, right? No reason why he should miss a wolfing if he was a wolf. However, if DRP is as inactive as you say he is (after checking back, DRP only made 2-3 posts) that would explain a lot of things, especially if he was the last remaining wolf. It would explain the lack of wolfing last night, AND if he was also the Master Wolf, it would explain the lack of tribune on the first night (he did not post until way after that) and the lack of wolfing and tribune last night, as he did say he was having internet problems. Plus, Wry didn't seem that wolfish to me, but I don't know. He's just too active to miss a wolfing if he were the wolf.
All the inactive people are just as likely to be our blues as they are wolves, though.

However the thing is with blues is that if need be, they can always claim blue if it comes down to it to safe themselves from a lynch. Also the human tribune might not always have something to say or it's part of a strategy. I.E. A wolf kills someone they assume is a blue and they aren't but the tribune doesn't post something the next night, the wolves might assume they've killed the tribune.
Also purple, double posting in a wolf game is fine since you're not allowed to edit your posts.

Anyway, as far as overall performance goes, Whirr definitely wins by a landslide. His performance as a Wolf is what every player should try to emulate. His fatal mistake was defending Doodle, but other than that, I would never have even suspected him of being a Wolf.
Also I took a risk in claiming to SFK but if I hadn't, there was a good chance that our seer would have been killed.
But that was my fault for misreading the time on slow's post.
A++ to Mashi and Wry and SFK.
I want to give mvp to Wry even though he didn't win. He really played a great game, just got unlucky.
Also SFK started out somewhat okay but developed into a good player.
And Mashi, yeah.
So while those three were good candidates, I'm so annoyed with the game I'm not awarding an MVP. Yeah. :P

He made ridiculous claims that Adelaide was suffering from some sort of penis envy and that pieces of her life were missing due to the lack of presence of her father. He told me more, but it was all simply rubbish.
Adelaide and I returned to our home in Manchester, England, where I continued to try to heal her of whatever trauma was causing her to dismay. However, I met with no avail, as her condition worsened. Her once beautiful countenance adjusted to complement her luridly hued disposition. She became grey and became much less active.
What could possibly be going on her mind? This is a question I never found the answer too. If Adelaide had lived any much longer, perhaps I would have found a solution, but alas, she died one day of unknown cause. It was quite shocking to me, I would surmise that robbers accosted her in the house and murdered her, but left of fear of what had occurred; they were only robbers after all. Upon returning home the day that Adelaide had died, I found her face down on the floor, her back towards a shattered mirror.
One trifle matter, however, that was not noted, was the placement of the shards within her. Pieces of glass were found throughout her body, as if they did not contact her skin at all. When these pieces were removed, the colours that they should have reflected were distorted. If a mirror were created out of those shards, I am confident that the reflection would look monstrous. But I digress, I certainly feel sorry for my poor girl. Only 10 years of age too. It's sad how early the lives of these children can be nowadays. God damn factories.

I agree with Wry, please don't sign up if you're not going to be active, we'd rather wait a month for active players than start a game early with inactive players.
I want the next TWG to be more like TWG II or TWG I, with like 30 pages of just discussion.
But then again, that's like saying, "I want Season 23 of the Simpsons to be more like Season 10" because we all know that's not going to happen. (Sorry for the sort of nerdy joke, hahaha. It's who I am.)
