After watching the anime, I feel that everyone on here has a different Pokémon that represents them by their looks and their personalities.
Saying that, every few days I'll post an analysis why I think the specific person matches that Pokémon.
Ill keep a list updated on this post as more and more people ask to be placed up against ALL 649 Pokémon (excluding Legendaries and Ubers UNLESS I see the perfect fit)
All you will need to do is post asking and including these 3 things:
1) 3 words that describe your social personality (outgoing, humorous, laid-back, etc...)
2) 5 words that describes you as a whole (affable, detail-oriented, organized, adventurous, easy-going, etc...)
3) Your career aspirations (if you don't have that yet, then potential college major or a few hobbies other than playing music)
Analyses will come first-come, first-serve

Cool thread, DrP! I hope you don't freak out over the number of people who want to try this... :P
Social Personality: Humorous, assists others, and popular.
Me as a whole: Procrastinator, intelligent, young, a hugger, and a little bit geeky.
Career aspirations: Acting or something involving a lot of math.
Social personality: ambitious, humorous, sociable
Me as a whole: intelligent, optimistic, organised, witty and tall.
Career aspirations: Psychologist
Social personality: sociable, friendly, funny
Me as a whole: sociable, gamer, artist, lazy, intelligent
Career aspirations: Not exactly sure yet, but something along the road of history for sure.
Well, I'll do the first one. This is the format I'll probably do.
Today's Pokémon Showcase
Our lucky Guinea Pig, SlowPokemon is under the spotlight for this half of the week.
SlowPokemon, to me, seems to be one that would enjoy cleaning dirty things. He would want to make sure that everything is orderly and neat, just to keep things within easy grasps (this could even be brought down to the level where I wouldn't want to see what he'd do with a P-Touch).
He is a sensitive person, genuinely caring for the good in others, though he can be quite all-over-the-place at times when stressful things happen or just mass hysteria. I could imagine that he keeps a level head with a large exam or timed-write essay is given to him.
He knows when to cry at the moments that he holds dear (like in Harry Potter Movies, Professor Layton endings or just a good waltz being performed by some world renowned pianist). He can also tell it like it is at certain points (though not as amazing as Roz).
He adores things cute and cuddly, like certain Pokémon, plush toys and other things that seem like a giant marshmallow... LILYPAD! (hahaha -- SFK would get this).
Therefore I must decree that SlowPokemon's PokémonizationTM is:
(https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fcdn.bulbagarden.net%2Fmedia%2Fupload%2Farchive%2Fe%2Fec%2F20100723000400%2521572Minccino.png&hash=c6996882a2088e6506346dfc92cce67657a2e45f)
MINCCINO!
(I did consider Spinda, Pikachu, Chikorita and Piplup in my analysis)
Social Personality: Outgoing, loud, never knows when to shut up xD
Me as a whole: procrastinator, sociable, kind(usually), helpful
Career aspirations: Music, Film, or Computer Engineering
lol I'm actually not very clean, but a lot of my friends call me Chinchilla cause I guess I look like one! Hahaha I love this thread idea.
This totally beats the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon personality test by a long shot!
THIS^
Social Personality: Quiet, awkward, spontaneous.
As a whole: Eccentric, enigmatic, unorganized, slightly cynical, loyal
Career Aspirations: Musician, animator
btw,
Quote from: DrP on September 04, 2011, 03:30:59 PMgiant marshmallow... LILYPAD! (hahaha -- SFK would get this).
lol, totally mmd :D
1) 3 words that describe your social personality : Awkward, antisocial, quiet.
2) 5 words that describes you as a whole : Kind, laid-back, procrastinator, direct, hard headed.
3) Your career aspirations : Translation. Awww yeaaa
1) 3 words that describe your social personality: Open-minded, funny when awake, awkward when tired (which is about half the time.)
2) 5 words that describes you as a whole: Metaphysical-minded?, gullible, stubborn, imaginative/hopeful, adventurous
3) Career aspirations: Programming, Music, Psychology, Cryptology.
I decided to do this early and head on to the next one.
Today’s Pokémon Showcase
Our lucky winner is Dudeman.
To me, Dudeman seems like one that is down to earth. Though what he gave me to work with was quite paradoxical, being popular and quite geeky. However, in this day and age, everyone has a little bit of both within them.
This is what I put into my analysis: Dudeman is a caring, genuine individual who epitomizes the one who is smart and personable, someone who can be the face AND brains of an “operation†(please don’t scam good people out of their money â€" haha).
You also tend to lack the certain features of certain AR people who post daily on this forum and have some of the higher of the post counts, and this makes you generally laid-back and not prone to getting something done far before a deadline, however I assume you meet these deadlines.
I should say one separate thing: your description of yourself is basically my bestfriend, but with an extra word, “flirtatious,†hidden in that description, except he wants to be a chemist/researcher/doctor or something like that.
So let me say for the record that your humorous popularity combined with your intelligent caring for others remains unnoticed and without further ado, Dudeman’s PokémonizationTM is:
(https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fcdn.bulbagarden.net%2Fmedia%2Fupload%2F3%2F3d%2F058Growlithe.png&hash=c843f9fc24731aa9dbc94a1d859991d3d770eb6e)
GROWLITHE
Growlithe are quite smart for their general species. They are loyal to their owners (not saying you have an owner… maybe your parents), however they genuinely care for those they love and can be quite cuddly at times. Growlithe are known to help others and genuinely leave those they contact with generally feeling good (usless Officer Jenny releases them onto you for stealing/killing something/somebody).
(Other Pokémon I considered: Buizel, Delcatty, Magemite, Lickitung, Sealeo, Ponyta)
That's pretty cool. Arcanine was on my HG team before it died. :<
Quote from: DrP on September 06, 2011, 12:11:59 AMOur lucky winner is Dudeman.
Also, are you selecting people in order, or at random?
In order... but when I say lucky winner, it makes them feel that they have been selected specifically.
It's a psychological technique, but in this case, it was just my writing style!
(You'll get your turn soon -- I already have an idea about you, but I gotta do some more research)
Social Personality:
-Thoughtful.
-Optimistic.
-gregarious.
As a whole:
-Introvert.
-Slightly lazy.(After a couple of tries on something hard, I immediately give up on it. XP)
-Stubborn.
-Prescise (Whether its with bad handwriting, misspelled words, or being late to class... I can't stand it!)
-A bit sinister (As I chat with somebody I personally dislike with a smile, I'm seething and plotting in the inside.)
Career: I haven't thought about it much... I'm currently the unofficial apprentice of the guy who tunes my piano, but I guess when I get skilled at it, it would be more of a side job...
-Maybe an editor. My pet peeve is bad grammar and text talk.
I feel like these questions are better answered by someone other than myself. You're welcome to try :)
Socially - Quiet, funny (75% of the times if I speak), smart aleck (15% of the times if I speak). The other 10% is pretty much just talking.
Hmmm.... I'm REALLY VERY EXTREMELY organized. I respect my elders, and I try to get along with everyone that I meet. I'm a good lier, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
I got no career other than playing in a band... And it doesn't even get me any money right now... I've picked up sticks in my grandpa's lawn, does that count? :P
Quote from: Ragster2448 on September 08, 2011, 03:28:25 PMI'm a good lier, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
And apparently a bad speller :D
Quote from: Winter on September 08, 2011, 12:20:13 AMI feel like these questions are better answered by someone other than myself. You're welcome to try :)
nahhh...well fine I don't know you irl though.
Fairly outgoing, but also quite geeky; extremely kindhearted; but also reckless
Career: You would totally be a professional snowboarder amirite...wait or a pianist/keyboardist for a band
answer them yourself though cause I probably got them way off
Social Persoanality - Forced, Awkard and cold (I've been described as the Ulitimate Racist since I hate people)
On the whole - Random, optimistic, niave, bossy and happy
Career - Either a composer (How cliche) or a really good lawyer
Ok... I am friendly, open-minded, a little short-tempered, bad organized, talkative, in some situations a bit shy, thoughtful, very optimistic, musical, crazy, cheerful.
Career plans: I'd love to become a composer :D, but that's not really likely. More likely: teacher, tax adviser.
This is me :D
Here's the next one. I don't know when the next one will be (depends what job im doing tomorrow!)
Today's Pokémon Showcase
Out spotlight is on fingerz
Fingerz is definitely the type of person that really knows what is going on (even though he could be unaware at times). You are far intellegent past your current grade level, even though you aren't the one to brag about it. You totally know where it's at and keep it your dirty little secret.
Fingerz is also the type who can be quite sociable; he can be humorous. These two traits combined make him the excellent person to have a great conversation and quite amazing to be around and would make a great friend. I can sense that he uses sarcasm quite a bit. You can keep things neat and tidy and QUITE ANAL-RETENTIVE about keeping things in line (just like some of us writing a certain Showcase...).
Keeping in line with his tallness and his ambitions for Psychology. And let me just say, the Pokémon I chose for you came first to my mind, so I made sure to look at other Pokémon before returning to my first decision.
Fingerz' PokémonizationTM is:

GARDEVOIR
Other Pokémon considered: Gallade, Alakazam, Gengar, and Gothitelle
Yay! Gardevoir! :D

I would seriously reconsider that. None of those are anything like Fingerz. Like...seriously. At all.

How did you know I was a snowboarder.... That works. use that.
You mentioned it in Tales's "are you on sports" thread.
What kind of Pokemon are you
How do you do the things you do~

Do you have a heart that's true

Take a normal type like Jigglypuff
Against the ghostly Gengar the battle's real tough
Thundershock's a great electric attack
'till you get ground down by a Marowak
erm...why are we rhyming?

*facepalm*
it's a song called "What Kind of Pokemon Are You" from the anime.
oh
(haven't watched the anime in ages)
Social - Quiet, Loves to laugh (quietly), somewhat shy.
As a whole - Super, ultra, great, delicious, wonderful, bad (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNKo4TPAqxw) (Basically funny, in case you didn't catch that.)
Career - Computer Programmer
Quote from: SlowPokemon on September 12, 2011, 05:22:00 AMI would seriously reconsider that. None of those are anything like Fingerz. Like...seriously. At all.
Yeah, I really don't care. I'm only working with what I'm given. If I knew you guys personally, I'd seriously have a better understanding from mannerisms and other things.
Next one will come DEFINITELY before monday, once I get like an hour of free time!!!!
1) Lone-wolf, humorous and social to those who deserve it (the last six words was one word in some weird way)
2) Creative, easy-going, helpful, dreamer/adventurous, lonewolf (see above to the right)
3) Want to make things that people appreciate, doesn't matter in what subject (but hopefully technical stuff or music)
Epic topic idea that takes a lot of effort from the creator :)

Quote from: DrP on September 17, 2011, 09:24:27 AMThat's an understatement :)
Lol no, overstatement. :) This should not take much effort at all.
Takes 'bout an hour
And Nebbles: I'll have your stuff up by the end of the weekend, then it's back to weekly ones until I'm done!!! (they will most likely be on Sundays!)
:D Yay~
Quote from: Nebbles on September 04, 2011, 02:53:52 PMSocial personality: sociable, friendly, funny
Me as a whole: sociable, gamer, artist, lazy, intelligent
Career aspirations: Not exactly sure yet, but something along the road of history for sure.
It's That Time Again!
Our Next Victim: Nebbles.
Nebbles seems to be the one who just plain likeable, by everybody. Everyone probably doesn't hold a grudge against her and everyone probably knows how she has an amazing demeanor about here. You can be a genuine person when you want to and you likely show your emotions to a great point, and can move them from within mind to a physical medium.
Your artwork flows from the heart and is a true expression of your likes and things that you hold close and dear to you, or it would be a request from someone (just don't join the darkside of the art world -- though I highly doubt you will).
In terms of what you want to do, you are generally unsure with just a small list of parameters for a future career, just heading in a general direction with your life (At least it IS a direction, unlike some people) -- You probably are not crazy about scheduling and being on time for certain things, arriving right at the time it is supposed to begin. You probably enjoy learning about lots of things and knowing a little about every subject, minus some of those that you've proved to just be a lost cause in your mind.
From what I see, your a nice person who really does show emotion, whether you may think it or not, and you're definitely heading towards a certain direction, however it's only generalized and not necessarily an AMAZING direction. I know you'll go to great places and do amazing things with whatever you do because you would not expect anything less from near perfection (but you're not anal about asking for perfection -- you're probably happy it gets done!)
So without further ado, Nebbles' Pokémonization
TM is:

CHIKORITA!(Other Pokémon Considered: Drifloon, Smeagle, Ivysaur, Mudkip, Swablu, Horsea, and others)
Pffff, super likable? I'm flattered <3 AND YES I LOVE LEARNING RANDOM THINGS
Chikorita. Okay. I'm okay with that :D -waggles imaginary leaf on head-
I made sure to check out Drifloon first, but you don't drag people to the underworld, so I couldn't say much -- but Chikorita suits you a little better.
Oh please, I drag people to the underworld as my second job :U My first job is to be awesome.
Luckily, Chikorita is like the most awesome Pokemon ever. ;) Nice work DrP. I think Buneary would also be a good choice, though Buneary reminds me more of ETF.

I considered it, but Chikorita was a clear winner
(And to tell you the truth, I can really see ETF as Pikachu... maybe it's just the association for so long, but they are one of the same)
Quote from: Jub3r7 on August 06, 2011, 09:53:11 PMAre you a Pikachu? Cause you sure are shocking. ;)
Not to mention:
A) She loves Pikachu
B) They're both cute
C) What Jub said
Quote from: SlowPokemon on September 17, 2011, 09:28:15 AMLol no, overstatement. :) This should not take much effort at all.
Well, I meant it more like that the author gets so many people to do
Normally these kind of topics die after awhile
....is this still going on?
Yes...
I have to postpone it until after October 10th.
Basically these next two weeks for me are REALLY busy with rush this week and exams and prepping for a large writing proficiency exam next week (and a concert I have to go to and then write a report on) -- so anytime during Week 4, I'll update my stuff (I'll even pencil it in to my daytimer so that I will do it!)
Topic revival!
I hope DrP gets back to this. I want a turn lawl.
Remind me back in the summer. Like mid June.

mid June?! :o
Aw, well, at least we can do the Pokemon survey until DrP returns.
I want a turn too. This looks fun. Can't wait for June now.
Let me see...
1. Apathetic, Blunt, and Synical.
2. Laid-Back, Sarcastic, Political, Unsocial, and Smart.
3. A Constitutional Lawyer (maybe Polititian).
1. Quiet, not popular and blur
2. Stupid, dumb, lame, low self-esteem, and quite shy at times
3. Game tester!

*reminds*
and GUESS WHAT...
Remind me when my Chinese Class is over August 15th.
I totes want to take tri's place since he left!
Tri still gets his chance
