In this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAy3nlATLkk&feature=related), at 0:22, the trumpet part starts. Does anyone know what instrument in Finale 2011 has the most similar sound?
Hmm... the trumpet in the OST has a very peculiar vibrato, and the overall tone doesn't seem to match up with any of the MIDI finale instruments. You could always fiddle with the VSTs though using Aria Player, which usually has better soundfonts. Just remember that the MIDI playback is mostly just a preview of the sheet itself being played, so if you can't find the right sound, don't feel bad about it.
