I'm trying to arrange a song for choral performance, but... I need to be able to bind PDF pages, such as the last page and the first page, to make a sheet booklet, and so fourth, so, it would still go pages 1, 2, 3, etc, but it would be using less paper, and it would be in the standard format choral music is in, the open booklets, as well as be able to bind the front page with an image and a title, as well as a credits page on back with text. Help, please? It would be greatly appreciated, since adobe sucks and we all know it.
Use the Page Layout Tool.
Page Layout -> Page size
Check "Landscape"
I don't have finale 2012 installed on this laptop so that could be inaccurate but that's the basic idea.
I don't even see a page layout tool.....

then you don't have a version of finale that can do this and will need someone else to do so.
There's got to be a way...
Finale Notepad 2012, I assume? When you make a new sheet, at the Document Setup Wizard, you can choose "Landscape" right under the Page Size box.
EDIT: I think I didn't read your question that well, but you can't change portrait sheets into landscape. For that you would need to re-arrange the whole sheet.
Or copy and paste it all in a new file.
Did anyone even read the post? I want to combine the pages, to make a booklet. How choral music is arranged.
In
A
BOOKLET
I want a cover and a back, all on the same page, on the other side, the first and last pages of the piece, and so on. So I use HALF the amount of paper. Get it? Get it now? Not make the entire thing landscape, still have the portrait form, but have the pages occupy and share a physical page. Get it?
Jeeze, everything is more annoying when you're on your guy period (if there really is one, I might just be b*tchy these past few days..) and repeating myself is the most aggravating thing during this time. I don;t know how I could have made it any clearer in the first post.

Wow, could you be any more rude?
Yeah really -__- the title of this thread majorly contradicts the post. Most of us just looked at the title and were like, "Whoop! Know how to fix his problem!" and posted to help you out.
I could be wrong, but Finale doesn't do this. Finale is designed for music notation and quick printing, not publishing which is essentially what you are asking for. Also, admonishing people who are trying to help you voluntarily is a good way to ensure nobody will ever help you again.
Outside of Finale you would need to make the sheets into PDFs and work with those to make the booklets you want. No, I don't know how to that, because I don't publish music.
Ever think about going to a FedEx kinkos?
I'm TRYING to find out how to do it as a .pdf! And I can be ruder, but I choose not too. This is the nicest I can get right now. It's just repeating myself over and over. I'm extremely b*tchy at the moment due to other problems, and some major issues just to get my damned degree... I'm trying to do something nice for someone by re-arranging a song into a choral piece, and this is just a real pain.... Does anyone here know what I'm talking about, ergo been in a choir and dealt with these sheet booklets?? I'm just looking for a software that could help me do this, or some other means of getting it done... I don't know how to contact Coldplay for copyright shtuff and legal matters, therefore cannot publish it, and need others means to accompish this. Does this clarify it better?....
*Sighs*
I know how to help, but don't really want to... :/
Okaaay then *shrugs* You weren't one of the ones I was angry with....
Sorry to be frank, but you majorly need to chill.
After re-reading your posts about five times, I think I finally get what you're saying. You mean you want every page half-size, and landscape sheets folded in half to create two portrait sheets. Okay. I think I got it.
Is this something you're arranging yourself? Or do you have a sheet identical to what you want and just want to reformat it?
I know I do. Again, I'm very b*tchy lately. And yes, you win a cookie for being the first one to figure this simple "puzzle" out. And this is something I'm rearranging myself, yes. Viva La Vida by Coldplay.
I'm sorry I can't help :( I'm not terribly experienced as far as different types of software go.
And 500th post woot XD
Crap.... And congrats bro :D

It's possible. I've done it for my Darkwing Duck Piano Score.
How in teh heck do you??? I seriously need someone to tutor me on adding these things to sheets so I can begin non-official publishing, like tempo, etc

Well until you apologize to everyone, I won't help you at all.
-____- I'm sorry, but no matter how close or distant, I'm not dwelling on the past. I apologize after the heat of the moment, where I see due. It's been a bit too long. And I won't negatively dwell. Also, @Waddle Bro, it's only Reader I don't like xD Other than that, I appreciate Adobe too :3
If you can't be arsed to enough to attempt a good apology on something as impersonal as an internet forum, why should any of us even bother to help you at this point?
*Shrugs* Again, not going to look back on the past. It keeps me from the future. I do sincerely feel bad for my action, but it was a short burst of anger. A whole 45 seconds worth of reading. When you think about it, that's not nearly as bad as if I started listing people off and calling them all sorts of profanity and slurs, am I right? We're all grown up here. I think we can take at least a small amount of anger. See, these are the little things we should not worry about. We can treat it like ducks treat water; they roll it off their backs. It's not a big deal guy... *sighs again*And I was raised redneck. Rules are, stick with eachother. Keep eachother's backs. Forgive and forget. Live for the moment. Make the best out of a situation. Don't be afraid to use your ingenuity, because if it looks stupid but works, it isn't stupid. And last, apologies should be accepted, not asked for. Again, not trying to be rude in this post, but I couldn't agree more with my daddy when he told me that as young'n. If no one wants to help, it's as easy as taking my business elsewhere or asking someone via PM whom I get to know. At this point it's not me being rude, but anyone whining at me about this... It's rather depressing to see how many only want to restore pride in themselves by another's words :/ It honestly makes me sad... I should, like, write a song about the lack of independence in the modern world today... It's a good idea in hindsight. But anyway, back on topic.
If you sincerely feel bad, you should apologize. Whole 45 secs of reading? Apologizing would take you 10.
Not going to look on the past? I'm sure murderers think the same thing. "Oh, I'll just forget I killed that guy; he's keeping me from a happy future." Not saying you're like that, but that's where your train of thought seems to be heading.
And seriously? We can't make you apologize. But until you do, we have ZILCH reason to help somebody who, even if he's not one, has already given his reputation on this site as a world-class jerk. Even with that, a couple of us still tried to help. You should be thankful, if anything.
Just....wow.
Guys, guys, guys! What are we doing? Can't we just jump back on topic and finally answer this guy's question? Then someone can lock the topic and we can stop arguing!
Geez...for a while there, I had some faith in humanity.
No, it's fine.... Forget it, I obviously don't deserve the help... But thank you for sticking up for me....
The fact that "pride" is in his name and we had this ordeal is cracking me up

This.
Hah, I get it... But this is a stressful thing to do. I mean, I have til the 20th to start the project.... And I don't know how to start it in the format I need it in for the choir I'm arranging it for. The one I'm in, as a matter of fact.
You're called PrideSage99 and you put your age 101. I have a reason to believe that you sir, are 13 years old. If this is the case like I strongly believe it is, because if you were 16-? you would search the answer online, contact the people who makes these programs and ask them. So let me ask you,
Why on earth does a 13-year old boy have to make a layout to a booklet when there are people like your choir leader who could do this?
Everyone drop it XD
Pride, take your answer and leave
i cant believe how hard it was to google that
Jesus, I mean thanks, but...
Waddle bro, I googled it multiple times and found nothing... And I'm not the kind of guy to try and contact finale about it. I would highly doubt that's a feature I wouldn't have to somehow pay for... And I'm definitely a lot older than 13, I will say that.
Dude I googled that and it was the first thing to show up. Either your lying or you dont know how to internet
....
I PMed you..

This.
I strongly believe you're lying, because you found out how to use Internet and made an email account to get to NSM, but googling that is too hard? I think you're 13 and a you lie about your age in order to gain some respect in our eyes for some reason.
That is my vision.
Enough. PrideSage, you've got what you came for so stop posting. Everyone else: find another topic to spam up.
Someone please lock this topic already.
I only moderate the submissions board.
Guys... there is a report button.
