Title: TWG XLIX: Red vs. Blue Postgame
Post by: the_last_sheikah on March 12, 2013, 04:18:34 PM
TWG XLIX: Red vs. Blue (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BAM9fgV-ts)

1. The Meta: Bubbles7689

Freelancers:(wolves)
2. Agent South Dakota: K-NiGhT
3. Agent Wyoming: TheZeldaPianist275
4. Agent Washington: Vermilionvermin

Reds and Blues:(humans)
5. Church: Mashi
6. Tucker: BlackDragonSlayer
7.  Caboose: wolf
8. Sarge: Yugi
9. Sister: FSM-Reapr
10. Lopez the Heavy: blueflower999
11. Grif: Waddlebro
12. Simmons: Hunter of Souls
13. Doughnut: Mr. Tanooki Suit
14. Doc: popo447
15. Junior: The Boy Who Cried Wolf

Humans WON!

A.I. distribution:
Day 1:
-TZP = Epsilon (lynched)
-Mr. T = Sigma (stolen)
-verm = delta
-FSM = gamma
-Blue = omega
-Waddle = theta

Night 2:
-verm = delta
-FSM = gamma
-Waddle = theta and omega

Day 2: (bubbles lynched and all A.I. destroyed)
-verm = delta
-Yugi = gamma
-Blue = omega
-Waddle = theta

I'll be honest, I was glad to host this game and soooooo many times did I practically cream my pants when someone found out a game-changer, and boy did that happen often!  Unfortunately, only 2 A.I.s were used all game(not counting omega), and because Bubbles and verm were lynched so early, a lot of the new powers never got used.  I understand why, but it's kinda a let down that K-NiGhT just gave up at then end, oh well.  Good game every one, maybe I'll write a player analysis someday. ::)

Eh! Only right with one (Verm):
YOU WERE MY BROTHER ACQUAINTANCE VERM! I TRUSTED YOU (not really :P)!

I actually trusted TZP more than Yugi, especially because Yugi threatened to Brutal me...

And with that, I officially bow out of TWG. This was my last TWG ever. Of all time. (Until #100)

Here's a list of all the people who claimed directly to me, in the order they did so, as well as their claim:
Yugi (Sarge)
vermilionvermin (Human)
The Boy Who Cried Wolf (Human)
FSM-Reapr (Human)
blueflower999 (Human)
Hunter of Souls (Human)
TheZeldaPianist275 (Doughnut)
Mashi (Seer)

Yugi-Fox wondered if he'd been counterclaimed, which led me to think that he was the sniper (looking to snipe the Brutal and get away with an extra kill).

I should have used my vigi. ::) Ironically, Verm was the one who told me to use it on TZP. :P

So basically the brutaling happened like this:
Spoiler
Quote from: FSM-Reapr on March 11, 2013, 08:05:34 AMSo, I know that you're the brutal human.

You should set your brutal target on K-Night or Hunter, but I'd prefer K-Night.
Quote from: Yugi on March 11, 2013, 05:10:24 PMVerm told me to brutal you.

I then set my brutal to verm.
Quote from: FSM-Reapr on March 11, 2013, 05:21:10 PMNo, don't.

Set it on K-Night or Hunter.
Quote from: Yugi on March 11, 2013, 05:23:31 PMOkay then.

I want to say something about my lynch (it was a while ago, bear with me)

Everyone decided to last minute lynch me because of my response to verm's accusation of me. When I asked Mashi later, he said something along the lines of me going along with what verm told me to as to not raise suspicions

Basically whatever I did I would've been lynched, whether it would have been for agreeing with verm or not changing my weak vote on TBWCW. Once verm suspects someone, theyre dead XD Hes just too good. Im just saying this for future notice (even though I was the Meta :P)

Bubbles, I only supported lynching you because I figured I could support the Yugi lynch later because I thought it was stronger at the time.  This was before I figured out that Yugi was the brutal.  so yeah blame mashi

And in regards to me telling Yugi to brutal FSM, I actually didn't!  I said brutal blueflower like FSM told me to, but by the time Yugi got the PM, blueflower was already dead.  When he told me that he was going to brutal FSM, I figured I should just go along with it at that point because if he had brutalled FSM we would have won.

I stopped the Hunter lynch. Go me. That actually was a game changing element because if Blueflower would have survived, he said he would have voted for me the last Day.

Title: Re: TWG XLIX: Red vs. Blue Postgame

"Him" was supposed to be blueflower, but it had an unintended meaning which became more prominent when blueflower died.

As for why I didn't say I seered K-Night green:  At the time there was still the Delta item floating around.  If K-Night were ever seered red or caught, we'd have both been sunk!

Yugi and FSM-Reapr, I am proud.  FSM-Reapr, you should have heeded my words and been weary of verm verm in the Skype chat I gave you right before the Phase in which I died ended, but Yugi made up for it, so that's fine, at least!  And your K-NiGhT lynch was A+++++++++.
To be clear though, NSMers shouldn't be afraid to accuse Bird, verm verm, Thiannon, and me.  We're not perfect as Humans and we'll dominate as Wolves if we go by without anyone accusing us.  Don't try to go overboard, but keep us on our toes!  Obliterating you all becomes boring after a while.

Anyhow, great game, everyone, I'm proud of you all!

Eh.  Was a good game to read.

Ubersorry to K-night and Verm for my screw up at the beginning of the game. That kinda crippled us for the rest of the game. :(

BDS, I sniped you because as a false claimer, I knew we were both at the top of each others' hit list. I was just quicker on the draw.

Verm,  nice blending in. You did excellent this game. K-night, I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and say you voted yourself at the end as a last ditch attempt to look human.

Wolf, I feel pretty bad you got wolfed night one.  :'( Please don't give up on TWG now! For anyone who was wondering, it was because Verm faked the chat log.

Social, nice thinking. FSM, nice push at the end.

I have played four TWGs now and have not won a single one. Does it count as a win if you die but your team wins?

I thought it was more likely his Caboose comment that got him wolfed. ::)

lol gg wolf

I was suspicious of Verm after I realized that I was not going to get a Delta claim. That meant that Verm was lying and thus he became my #1 suspect. Unfortunately I thought that maybe someone inactive didn't see my post where I told people who had the Delta claim and decided to go with the TBWCW lynch because Verm was so convincing. That's why I changed my vote from Verm to TBWCW, to hopefully give more time to receive a Delta claim.
I was also quite lazy the last Night Phase, which also bit me in the ass. I should have guessed that I was going to die, so I probs should have said something about my suspicions.
I would have lynched Popo the last Day because Vermilionwuff seered him green. Verm, I think you failed by saying that Popo's green instead of K-Night, since you had the seering item and I doubt the real seer would have gained much advantage of seering someone as inactive as him. K-Night would definitely not be even close to the top names I'd seer in a TWG. That was a gamble you should have taken.

Gj Yugi for seeing through Verm. Not many players can do that.

FSM for MVP, srsly. He stopped a wolfing and led the humans to victory. I think most of the people would have lynched Hunter instead of K-Night if they were in FSM's position.

The only reasons I didn't listen to Verm:
1: I'd thought I'd at least live until Night 2.
2: I wanted to leave somebody to lynch for the humans, so they would not be completely "in the dark" in the case of my death.
3: I wanted to wait and see if either of the brutal claims could be confirmed.

Waddle, enough of that.

Just because I don't agree with FSM getting MVP, doesn't mean I'm being 'bitter' about things.

You didn't say Verm or Yugi should get something, does that mean there is bitterness between you?

I just feel that since FSM was so convinced in Verm being Human and trusted him with everything an MVP wouldn't be fitting. Honerable Mention Perhaps but not MVP in my opinion. It's up to Sheikah anyway. :P
