Title: them's arrangements
Post by: them on September 19, 2014, 07:44:02 PM
Arranged alphabetically first by game system, then by game name, then by the name of the piece.

[GBC] - Tetris Attack

"Yoshi's Stage"
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ohsxyeimwttz2sx/AABE6z-nXylrKJHpmu7YEWP4a?dl=0
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDde2hUOCPM
Things to fix: repeats don't work in midi, measure no# are missing.

[GBC] - Wario Land II

"Turn Off the Alarm Clock!" (First level)
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2qatoriyg8khzk9/AABEegSz6RUyKUK1rSwBGwwaa?dl=0
Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lp-3qkp-_yA
Things to fix: 4 measures per system is ideal

[GBC] - Wario Land 3

"Best Time List"
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/zslw2ut458gvypl/AADJpEYliZoMQWULuTMFqi0Ba?dl=0
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kutyqHuKbA
Things to fix: excessive 'pno' tags

"Golf Entrance"
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/6tn1uidjv1rsxmz/AABfmOlh9QOpIAMAZ0n4P7Vsa?dl=0
Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=371Qmf0yQ_c
Things to fix: first measure is slightly off.

"Out of the Woods (Night)"
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/04xwi39s65ofqz8/AAD907IlB_NjRy1CkF-5YDlma?dl=0
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cB9tu7lHVJc
Things to fix: measure 16 was guess-work, and is probably wrong. Repeats don't work in midi.

"Snowman"
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5m0huzgp6mc0ucj/AABU56EBwwbvZxPeMsRDBMoHa?dl=0
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwVtQfM5wjg
Things to fix: decent for an arrangement, but the lower tones near the end are harmonic, not melodic.

"Vampire Wario"
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/azn2quao4mj39cn/AADtnlHRJpTlr0MkHHm1uo7va?dl=0
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIu709yJnP8
Things to fix: excessive 'pno' tags.

[GBC] - Winnie the Pooh Adventures in the 100 acre wood

Note- I seriously couldn't find the composer anywhere. He/she's not listed in the credits, or in the instruction guide I have.
Things to fix: as I cannot find the composer, this is low priority.
"Fishing Game"
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/82z7ypc0pcq4vft/AAAOyUNx6iTSh2imbJz7k5F0a?dl=0

"Mirror Boardgame"
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/uk8ylnc5hkdyi6v/AADUWwbgF1-44ZQDGW11q0w_a?dl=0

"Pooh & Honey"
(Anyone want to give this a shot?)
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0mqp2ybvcvj8ekl/AABQ-4lgmIomvatTYcNuJ4qka?dl=0

"Rabbit's Garden"
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/3o1cegxc0c277dd/AADjSn84iw8aLDMmGOSuBsXDa?dl=0

"World Map"
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4zxselo3lk5dgyv/AAAT5y7EcNx1988kK3lOan1Xa?dl=0

[N64] - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
"Gerudo Valley"
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/icr7fbfy37c7abu/AAB_MxpChU5FPAdodO8qMOXma?dl=0
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hy0aEj85ifY
Things to fix: check for playability, repeats don't work, check measures 2-5 for rhythm.

[N64] - Paper Mario
"Princess Peach is Saved!"
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jlj7uqi7p94nbil/AACIhvKiKn4VuL557U7c3eK5a?dl=0
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWBnoRv3jp4
Things to fix: beginning fanfare is missing in both arrangements.

For guitar!
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1wcvpjuii0xq2z9/AABIUhxWRUvIBRG0lVo8F6sVa?dl=0

[SNES] - Earthbound

"Twoson" - For Guitar! Is it playable?
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/lc6uwe06lsd0dfa/AACaQmsLh-gxeyF50Hgy1mBfa?dl=0
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3rxfNjBGqQ
Things to fix: check for play-ability, introduction could sound nicer.

[SNES] - Super Mario RPG

"Forest Maze" - For duet or solo performance!
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8n6i2vqhsgci4jb/AAC_eECpeLdmoN9GJJIJ4T0Ka?dl=0
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkailb3xcTI
Things to fix: This is actually pretty good for my standards.

[Wii] - PokéPark Wii

"Loading Screen" - For guitar!
Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yid3exnxnb7ce6j/AABY06GLk1UxoEk70W4omhZGa?dl=0
Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KC3cHnPyqwc&list=PL9mCMKp0o7xtvP6u9VBVtaMF5Jegn6W9K&index=2
Things to fix: No errors spotted.

I love your username. As for your arrangement, only got a brief glimpse of it and the formatting seemed correct. The only thing I'd do formatting-wise is put four measures per system to even it out. I'll check out the music another time when I'm not on my phone.

Also, welcome!

Some rhythm grouping things:
*You can change the rests at the end of bars 8-10 to minim rests
*the crotchets in the middle of bars 13 and 14 can be rewritten as quaver-tied-to-quaver. This makes it easier to read as it highlights beat 3

"Arranged by Them". What a clever username! Welcome!

Quote from: them on September 19, 2014, 07:44:02 PMI think measure 14's bass line might be off.

It's one octave higher. You should use staccatos all over the piece too, except the trills.

Thanks everyone! I fixed everything I knew how to.

I don't know how to move a measure to a different system, and I decided to keep measure 14 the same for playability's sake.

OMG the nostalgia! I have this game and loved it as a kid! I used to wander in the world map :J
Tried to look for the composer, but nothing, I couldn't find anything either. Nice arrangement!

Hmm, Notepad... I started arranging with Notepad 2012 too haha
If you need things like octaves and such that are not available in Notepad, you can request a layout here (http://forum.ninsheetm.us/index.php?topic=685.0).

I take it by the constant demand for more that my arrangements are all the rage.  :P

On a different note, I just bought a recorder from ebay. Pretty soon, you too can hear beautiful arrangements of timeless classics, like "The Adventures of Rad Gravity: Title Screen" played on this wonderful instrument!... That is, if you request that sort of stuff.

Now that the Musescore Beta is out, I can do a lot more with everything, so you might see a bit more activity!
Here's just something for today:
