Why isn't wind waker an option
Why isn't Pokemon D/P an option
Wind Waker is not an option because it's already in HD, and Diamond Pearl was really bad. And I mean REALLY bad.

.-. No it wasn't.

MY GOD! YOU LIKED IT?!
Lemme check your pulse, I think you may be having a stroke.
OoT did have a remake already, though I suppose it wasn't ""HD""
And DP were fine games. idk why you hate them so much. I played through both Diamond and Platinum o.O
If anything I think the set of Pokemon included in Black/White are the most uncreative, though I never actually played B/W/B2/W2 so I don't know about those games. I hear good things though.

Isn't it Pearl? Anyways, I'm an RPG hater, so yeah. 'Cept Dream Team.
Diamond and Pearl were the pair, and then Platinum was the 3rd release a la Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald versions.
And boo RPGs are great
Metroid Prime Trilogy would be an insane game to have HD remake on, Metroid is one of the most underrated Nintendo franchises imo

Quote from: zoroark1264 on December 20, 2014, 11:38:43 AMSomething tells me you haven't really played them cuz
I have. Anime + RPG = bad game
I just don't like 'em.
Especially X and Y.
And I have played all Pokemon games to date, including ORAS.
well I mean it kinda is
Quote from: zoroark1264 on December 20, 2014, 11:45:56 AMYou are amazing, ThatGamer, and I will never make fun of you again!
And I suck.
Hard.
Well what I meant to say is that it was never anime+game. The game came out like what, a year before the show?
When have I ever made fun of you? I was just vaguely implying that you were being a dick which is causing me to dislike you.
Quote from: zoroark1264 on December 20, 2014, 11:53:51 AMYou were being a dick.
Yeah, I'd better apologize before this becomes another Nebbles thing...so, sorry.

ok im done talking now carry on
why is sonic and the black knight an option, that game sucks
also, lay off guys he's a nintendo fan who probably hasn't played a conventional rpg or a game outside of nintendos systems

I've played them all, Final Fantasy, uh...no, I really haven't played any other ones. BECAUSE THEY SUCK, imo.
1. Black/White are actually my favorite Pokémon games, though people who haven't played them tend to criticize them a lot.
2. Dream Team is indeed a fantastic game, though there are a lot of other awesome JRPGs out there. For the 3DS, even.
3. Zoroark1264 is precious and does not suck
4. You can't judge all JRPGs based on Final Fantasy tbh though idk if there's much point in explaining to you haha. Check out Persona 3 and 4 if you get the chance, there aren't many better JRPGs.

Y'know you should probably
play the games before you say they suck.

1. True.
2. Probably.
3. It was a joke, not to be taken literally. He does not suck.
4. Rated M, aren't they? Then no, not old enough.

Good point. I judge too quickly.

thanks, but

keep that in mind
I quoted slowpokemon before it was cool
I see...
You should remember that "I dont like it" doesn't always equate "the game sucks". There is a difference between a subjective and objective statement. If you want to be making an objective one, you better be coming up with some sort of justification/evidence beyond "I dont like it" ;)

Ok, I don't like Pokemon B\W because:
1. It's repetitive.
2. Too much dialogue.
3. It's old.
4. It's uninventive.
Not to single you out, ThatGamer but let's just say I haven't met a lot of people with your kind of taste before. What are your thoughts on Pokémon games in general? And I'm talking about the RPG mainstream "Trainer" games that primarily make up the franchise and started it all. I'm not going to judge you on your opinion; I'm just curious though I will suggest giving every game a chance before saying you don't like it. (This goes for anything and everything)
Quote from: ThatGamer on December 20, 2014, 01:25:57 PMOk, I don't like Pokemon B\W because:

I can't think of any games that aren't repetitive.
Quote2. Too much dialogue.
Not nearly as much as some other RPGs, plus most of it is optional and all of it can be skipped rather quickly if you really hate reading well-written text that much.
Quote3. It's old.
Didn't it come out like three years ago? Also, since when does being old make a game objectively bad?
Quote4. It's uninventive.
If you think it's uninventive, you haven't analyzed the game enough. Pokemon is easily the most complex strategy game ever made on one level and the most expansive RPG game ever made on another level. The series hasn't totally re-vamped its concept in the 16 years or so that it's been out because it doesn't need to.
^True, plus all Pokémon is basically the same game so it's sort of an "I love them all" or "I hate them all" and certainly not "this one is far far worse than the rest of the series."

I gotta disagree with this claim, sorry blue :/

Well, I'm just not an rpg fan, so yeah. I'd rather play a mario game, or better, a shooting game, if I was allowed.
Gotta admit guys that Mario is better than pokemon.
And I actually dont mind dialogue. Its what makes a game worthwhile imo. Paper Mario: The Thousand year Door has a ton fo dialogue... :)
It's true that mario is better than pokemon, but they're really different types of games and hard to evaluate together.
None of them can compare to a good old zelda game though. Zelda's got it all.

Debatable...
You know what I'd like to see an HD remake of...? (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/9b/Homm3boxart.jpg)
Oh wait... (https://ubistatic-a.akamaihd.net/0004/prod/images/141209_H3_Announcement/H3_KeyArt.jpg) YEAH! AWESOME. JANUARY 29th YEAH.
I would definitely not call Pokemon the "most complex strategy game ever made" consider the many other strategy games that have much more, well, strategy involved, plus the multitude of other RPGs in existence that have similar or greater levels of complexity. However calling it completely oversimplified would be false as well :P
But, I can accept that somebody just doesn't like RPGs. They are broadly a very similar genre so if you dislike the feel then that could just be that.
These are all good games, Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, but the best, is: MARELDAMON
