as far as im aware, it's not really possible to delete extra measures in finale? it's easy enough to add measures.

but if you add negative one then finale crashes, so I recommend not doing that.

To put Shado's instructions in different words, completely highlight the undesired measure(s), then hit your "Delete" key.

 Sure you're selecting both staves, too.
