For those unaware, Blade & Soul is a free-to-play Korean RPG that got released to western countries recently(Jan 19, 2015).
This topic is for all discussions related to this game. It's an amazing game and you should definitely check it out if you haven't already.
You can find the game's website here (http://www.bladeandsoul.com/en/).
is it a jrpg or wrpj
I don't know what a "wrpj" is but I'm sure you can just Google it and find the answer out for yourself.
Spoiler

Mmm, JPEG...
@msf @dudeman
I did look up "wrpj" before posting that, but all that came up was something like a radio station and I'm sure that's not what Brainy meant by wrpj. No quick judgerino please, I looked around and couldn't find anything.
All I come up with is the common definition of WRPG when I search it. Did you just search "wrpg" or did you try something more?
Brainy did not actually say wrpg, but wrpj. I'm sure that's what he meant though
ew this game looks bad and I refuse to try it
NocturneOfShadow, ladies and gentlemen.
The game interests me, but I've fallen out of playing MMO's for quite a while. Since they really have no end, they tend to suck away all my free time because I want to spend it getting farther. I'd rather not fall back into that.
It means "western role playing game" And yes i might have mistyped that first response
and for all you uneducated folk, jrpg means "Japanese role playing game"
Undertale, I think the Mario and Luigi series, and Pokemon (not certain) are all jrpg's
since brainy's response is most likely inadequate:

No no and no.
JRPG's are almost always defined by their heavy story, complex stat management, grinding, in-depth battle mechanics, high damage outputs at high rates of return, grinding, skill or class trees, hour-long boss fights, switchable party members, grinding, heavy item usage, and grinding. May have missed a few points.
you missed grinding
think Chrono Trigger, Fire Emblem, stuff like that
Thanks for that Noc. I can't remember this stuff very well, for some odd reason.
And Undertale is classified as a JRPG on steam Dudeman....
Steam shmeam. It's a bullet hell/story-driven RPG crossover developed entirely in the West. There's nothing J about it.
Can't argue with that.
oh I forgot my favorite
Skies of Arcadia, the only RPG I ever actually enjoyed
If it's purely dependent on the country of origin, I guess it would be a KRPG
You forgot the grinding.
Too late bruh:

I also forgot the love story. Because there's
always a love story.
fwiw, I heard a rumor that the monsters are coming back
I dont think i've ever saw a KRPG before. This game might be interesting.,,
Mate, back in my days, grinding in Runescape was the shit, just chopping wood and killing cows and burning their meat was great, but the random events were amazing (unlike the 2007 graphics). And then I died and lost my valuables to a giant and never played again.
I finally got the chance to start playing this game today and I have to say, the character customization is AMAZING holy crap
And I even get to have ears and a tail! 10/10, get it now.

Is it on steam? Or some other platform? I really want to try it out.
Brainy, please do literally everyone a favor and Google every single question you have instead of asking it here. We'll just end up telling you to do the same thing.
Fine. I dont usually google stuff so im not accustomed to doing that.
The Internet holds so much knowledge, when used correctly.
