Have you considered keeping the low notes (e.g. m. 1 beat 1) at their original octave? I think that's pretty important, and the jumps aren't terribly difficult as the song is relatively slow.
Yes, but if I do that on measure 1 beat 2 there would be the same G played simultaneously with the two hands, so is this a problem?
What do you mean? Maybe I'm not listening closely enough right now but I don't hear the low voice on measure 1 beat 2 - I'm just suggesting moving the 16th notes down a few octaves.
Sorry, I was thinking of the 3rd 16th note on meadure 1, wich wold be exactly the same note as the 2nd 8th note of the low voice if moved down an octave, and I think than two octaves down would be too much.
Two octaves down seems fine to me; isn't that where the voice is in the original anyway? (I can help with clef changes if that's a problem).
I octaved the bass voice and added an octava down, so its not necessary to add a key change every two measures
Ah the nostalgia.
It sounds like you may want to bring the notes that represent the flute an octave down. Also, don't forget to put a dynamic at the beginning of the song. Other than that, very solid arrangement.
Bump for arranger
