Title: [Switch] SMO - Fossil Falls
Post by: RustyJustice on September 19, 2018, 03:25:51 PM
This isn't a request for the song so much as a question for people who want it.

I HAVE FINALLY RETURNED and am super excited to get a few fun pieces out. (See my WIP (https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/index.php?topic=3343.msg394688#msg394688) thread for more info on that...)

I'm working on the sheet for this song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8cKiffNad0) and I'm almost done, but I can't decide what to do about the 8-bit sections (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MY1rKvkTr4o). In my view, they are different enough arrangements of the song to warrant a separate section, but here's what I can't decide...

I could either:

I was planning on doing the first option but I see that Nintendo considers both to be separate songs in their CD tracklist. Anyone have an opinion one way or the other? I'd rather decide now than after submitting. Thank you!

o: welcome back again! Super hyped to see this sheet :D

I'd personally recommend keeping them separate. It's a pretty substantial piece and although they can transition into each other at any point, it's not like they play sequentially. But if you feel strongly the other way, that's perfectly acceptable too.

(by the way, about your in-progress post, your two Wind Waker sheets have been accepted to the site, and I've done Lurelin Village (Day) not to stop you from doing it, just letting you know :P)

Thank you! Good point about the sequentiality. I'll take your advice - besides, why write one sheet when I can take credit for two?!

I'll update my in-progress thread too, I wrote that up quite a while back.
