Rhythm Heaven Megamix really needs some more love here.
Don't have time to check the whole thing now, but some feedback while I'm glancing at it before I forget:
- Composer listing should have an "and"/"&"
- Measure distribution. The last system has 5; would strongly recommend bumping things up a bit to compensate (the first couple of systems are comparatively empty).
- Double check your articulations - some don't seem to match the original song. In particular looking at the staccato quarter notes in m. 6+ - don't think that's the best way to write it.
- Change B naturals to C flats in m. 17/21
- Rhythm in m. 9 incorrectly notated (split on beat 2)
- Start the 8va in m. 31 on the quarter note, not the tied whole note
- Layers flipped the wrong way in m. 32
I'm so disappointed in myself for not catching that notation error in m9 and having those Bnats instead of Cb's. Anyway, the files have been updated.
No worries, looking good! Last few things from me:
- Page 2 is resized to 95% for some reason...
- This is a bit ambiguous because of the nature of the sounds used in the original, but to me the melody in beat 3 of m. 3 and 5 sounds like how you wrote out m. 14+ in that there seems to be a 16th note implied that isn't quite there. I would suggest replacing the 16th notes with a staccato'd eighth as such.
- Move the mf in m. 6 left a bit

When I arranged this, I had used the flash version of Audiostretch, and I could distinctly make out both of those notes. However, I know I won't be able to convince anyone otherwise, so I have made the suggested change anyway. As well as the other two changes. (Sorry if that sounds a bit jerky or stuck up or anything. I'm not intending to come across as that, but I know I have a tendency to word things poorly.)
Yes, the pitch may be audible there, but I personally don't think it should be written in as it distracts from the sharpness of the beat 3 note - especially given how you wrote out similar figures later.
Anyway, looks good. The 8va marking at the beginning of the page 2 needed to be lowered a bit, but I went ahead and fixed that for you since it's a tiny change.
Hey, this looks pretty nice to me.
