What are good multiplayer games for N64, Gamecube, Wii, or 360? Not for online but actually playing with someone.
N64 - Goldeneye
Gcube - Melee
Wii - Brawl
xbox 360 - Halo 3
A lot of good multiplayer online games only support online. local is being abandoned :(
those games are pretty good, mr kotor fanboy, but heres some more:
360: rockband
wii:mario kart wii
gamecube:rayman arena
N64:super smash bros:you know, the first one (and the best one)
O yea forgot about rock band. I was thinking guitar hero but remembered that was only 2 people, then forgot about rock band. And unfortunately kotor doesnt have any multiplayer
Legend of zelda: Four swords adventure on the GC
kick ASS multiplayer - but you need multiple GBAs and it's best played with 4 people, so great if you have 4 players and 4 GBAs
N64: Mario Party 3
Gamecube: Double Dash
Wii: Brawl
360: Halo 3
GC:Metroid Prime 2
Wii:Brawl and Mario Party 8
360: Halo 3
GC: Mario Party 7
Wii: Mario Kart Wii
:)
I forgot to add CoD:4 for 360.

i totlly agree with you :) mario party 3 is one of the best games ever; and the soundtrack is brilliant! anyway i love the mario party series, i have all mario party games except the first one xD its horrible; but in my opinion mario party is just a great multiplayer game, for single player it is pretty boring; on gamecube i would say: melee and doubledash; on wii: rayman raving rabbits 1-3 and on 360: halo 3
N64: I really dont know...
NGC: SSBM, Mario Partys, Mario Kart Double Dash
Wii: Mario Kart Wii
X360: Halo 3, GTA IV, Gears of War 2
N64: Mario Kart 64, Super Smash Bros, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario Party games
Gamecube: Mario Kart Double Dash, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Soul Calibur, and Tales of Symphonia if you're looking for something with a deep story.
Wii: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Xbox: Can't help you here. :P
N64- Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart 64, Golden Eye
NGC-Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mario Kart DD
Wii- Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii
X-Box 360-Halo 3, Left 4 Dead(OMG 2 people or 4 with system link you'll have fun), Guitar Hero,Fable 2(if you can deal with it then it's fun), Orange Box(Team Fortress 2)(if you have live or if you have a friend who has another xbox to hook up with the same game to play 4 v 4 same with Left 4 Dead) Call of Duty 4, and I think that's it.
Team Fortress 2, Garry's Mod, Halo 3 LOCAL ONLY HOLY FUCK NEVER PLAY THIS ONLINE UNLESS IT'S CUSTOM MATCHES WITH FRIENDS, Castle Crashers.
Play multiplayer on the Wii? Why would I ever want to do that?

so you're not lonely/you don't have to deal with a huge lag.
But isn't that exactly what happens? You get crazy massive lag and have to wait ages to get any matches because Nintendo's online service sucks massive cock?
what I meant by that post is, play multiplayer (with people in the same room on the same wii) instead of waiting forever and getting a huge lag.
I see.
Unfortunately Brawl is pretty much the only fun local multiplayer game. And it gets boring after a bit.
I think Mario Kart Wii is pretty good.
It's ok, but I would prefer to play Double Dash. Mario Kart Wii is inferior to 64 and DD by far.
I found the best gamecube multiplayer game ever the other day- Timesplitters 2
Time Splitters 2 is amazing. Me andmy friend were playing that at 5 in the morning once. Not as good as the third one though.
Yeah, TS is purty PERFECT (I'm superfirekirby's 'friend')the third one is better because of the Injector gun and the awesome little remote-control cats. I'd say the Halo games, Metroid Prime 2, Battlefront 1 + 2 (any system), Timesplitters 2+3 (any system) are pretty good multiplayer ones, along with Mario parties/karts and SSB, of course.
MAPLESTORY!(lol)
All the Call of Dutys have good multiplayer (well except maybe WaW). I found SWBF2 to be enjoyable also.
Touhou 10.5 is a good fighter game...
Don't forget Touhou 09!
