The first game is Grand Theft Auto IV for the xbox 360 and PS3. This game had a lot of hype and a lot of praise from gaming sites so I thought it would be a good game to start with. (Note: I will have a large variety of games posted, don't think I'll only put out newer games)

My vote (I may not vote for all of the games I post if I have not played them) is a 9.1
Explanation (optional): I thought it was a great game with of course great graphics and audio, but also gameplay and story wise. However, its not as perfect as some places make it out to be. It has AI flaws, a lot of features stripped away that were in previous games, and a minor lack of variation and originality in the storyline missions. Online is a great bonus as well.

I rented it, and it was outstanding. I'll say it again, outstanding. Although I had problems with it's physics at first, but I still want to play it.

Explanation: Although, my name is Kotorfanboy, I believe I have a high standard for a game being perfect. If there is a single thing wrong with a game, it is not perfect in my eyes. As good as the rest of the game may be, it can only reduce the points taken off by what I find wrong, not completely erase it. That said, this is an amazing game. The gameplay was lengthy, with tons of sidequests, and the combat system was easy enough to master while still having room for lots of strategy. The story was awesome, the voice acting was perfect, and the alignment system warrantes multiple playthroughs. This game, despite having awesomely detailed worlds, did have some problems with the graphics. Faces were repetitive, and some of the motions were very robot-like and not fluid. These small graphical hitches do not distract much from the overall experience of the game, but are still a flaw in this game, keeping it from my very elusive perfect 10.
8 for now, might go up once i get farther. ;D

It's was fun but I an very strict and unforgiving when it comes to judging games. There were enough noticeable flaws in it to lower the score as it was but it's level of fun and length keep the score strong.

So you need to post what a substantial part of the game is then for you to count it.
Games change. Gameplay and story can change dramatically as the games goes along, and you should play at least a majority of the game to give it a review. You should try the gameplay out in all of the different areas, and against all of the different enemies before you can truly give the game a review. Still being on Dantooine is just the beginning of kotor, and I think anyone who has played the game would agree that you have a long ways to go.

Explanation: Pretty good game, a solid reiteration of the great guitar hero gameplay with a few tweaks to keep it interesting. Graphics got a good overhaul, but online play is not that good.

Such a fantastic game, just so much fun. This game got me into playing real guitar.

It's a good, solid guitar hero game and has a pretty good song list.. The new "Battle" feature is not as great as it seems.. It's more based on luck than on skill.. But still fun to play in the single player version none the less.. Graphics and good, it sounds great, and has hours of replay time.. However i gave it an 8.1 because of what there is to do. I mean u can get all the characters and the little guitars and stuff and u can complete all the songs.. but after that there's not much to do except practice to do harder songs on harder difficulties.. i also thought that it didn't stand out as much as it's predecessors. Yea, it's got 2 player battling action.. so what? When the only thing standing out from it's predecessors (besides the song list) is the battling, and it's not exactly a "Landmark" thing being only in the single player story 3 times... But then again... what new stuff can you put into a guitar only game?
Yea i know i'm probaly gonna get flamed about things to do but oh well..
Well it had the best setlist in any game.
Don't get me wrong, guitar hero has awesome gameplay, but this version felt more like just a rehash of past versions with an updated setlist.

Explanation: Wow. I heard this was bad, but I didn't expect this. Gameplay is horribly flawed, you can't even control how fast you go and when to turn around corners. My head hurts when I play this game. This is the only game that causes me physical pain to play. It deserves a zero, but the only thing keeping it from that is that it is free.
I heard about it so I went to my friend's house and we downloaded it. Man it sucked. Worst game I've ever played.

Super Smash Bros. Original
Score: 7.5
Explanation: A solid start to a series, back lacks a lot of the competition the others provided, and is very thin on extras. Nonetheless, it was a solid start to the series.
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Score: 9.6
Explanation: Took the style of the original and perfected it. Added tons of new features and new modes. Characters and stages were overhauled, adding more balance and variety to make it a great blend of fighting style. Simple to master, yet very deep for multiple combos.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Score: 9.3
Explanation: The long-awaited third installment of the series came, with tons of features. It had a story mode, tons of event matchs, stage creator, home run contest, target tests, and tons of other features. The character roster is the biggest yet with still enough balance. The only thing that subtracts from this score is a lack of new modes for multiplayer fighting that I wanted to see, and the online (although the online isn't all brawl's fault, so it only receives some points off here).
SSB: 9.9
The best game for the N64 considering the GC and Wii are better, but since they didn't have the technology back then, it was still a great game.
SSBM: 9.5
Still very good, lots more players than SSB.
SSBB: 9.1
Still good, more players than SSBM, but lacks the character I wanted...

I liked Brawl a lot more then Melee. It had more features, characters, stages, smoother controller, and SSE. I loved stage builder. Challeges were a wonderful and on. I truely would have given it 10.0 if its online wasn't so bad

SSB: 8.7- Plays slow, not many characters, but it makes me very nostalgic and bring back very good memories.
SSBM: 9.3- Much better than the origanal;I don't know why, but I stayed hooked to it from the day it came out until Brawl.
SSBB: 9.5- It was better than Melee, but I sort of lost interest. It's too easy to unlock everything. About the only thing I don't have is every sticker, and I have like.... 4 trophies left. :/

An almost perfect game. It added many new gameplay modes, much better and complex yet simple fighting, twice as many characters, and event matches which kept thing entertaining since it's nearly impossible to beat all of them.
Brawl- 9.5
A very good game over all. The subspace emissary was great with it's scroll by action that took hours to beat. Lots of fun bosses. an improved version of break the targets. New characters that are just plain awsome. And 128 challenges waiting to be beaten, as well as a stage creator and tons of new fun levels. So why did it get a lower score than melee? First of all there's no added special brawl features, online mode sucks, not much was changed to the fighting except mainly for the smashball. Plus Final Smashes are very unbalanced, and level creator is very limited.

- There contains a technique to cancel the lag after landing on the ground when doing an attack in the air and then landing, you press Z when you land and cancel the LAG ANIMATION this way you can do something like, short hop (jumping short to the opponent) do fox neutral air attack (the air kick) do a fast fall (to fall fast,lol) and then cancel the lag for fox to stand up
This is a very important way of attacking and its a good competetive game
Melee 10
- Nobody really understands this game, it isnt special from the 1-Player part (Trophy collecting, Story)
But this game is byfar, the most indescribable game ever created
The Techniques of attacking the opponent is so widely ranged, no beginner who doesnt know what Wavedashing is or why its useful would understand it
Why is the game so deep? Because there is no limit in getting smarter in gameplay
The key to winning is
Combos (Technical Skills and knowledge how to do them)
Mindgames (Tricking your opponent or overwhelming him by prediction)
Patience (Observe how your opponent plays and react to it)
Combo and Mindgame ability using Platform slides to attack
Its the deepest and most interesting game ever
Brawl - 6.0
The 1 Player mode is very very fun the cutscenes are amazing
The Game physics when playing against each other is probably the most slowest or most annoying ever
Many Attacks paralyze you and theres no way in defending it, spam overwhelms anything you do and overpowered attacks are in the game also
its tedious and annoying most of the times
You can play it for fun but it gets boring quickly as there are no mindgames that you can do because random attacks work best

Easily my favorite Mario adventure game. The graphics were nice and smooth, and still gave the Nintendo-esque to the game. The gameplay was very fun and challenging. The storyline was well thought out. It's finally come from "Bowser kidnapped the Princess" and became "Bowser kidnapped the Princess, and Mario goes on a fucking EPIC adventure through space." The music was beautiful, the characters were very unique and interesting. Rosalina has become one of my favorite Nintendo characters in general. I hope she becomes the next Petey Piranha. (He was in almost every spin off game for the GameCube after Sunshine was released.)

I would like to give to Super Mario Galaxy a 9.5.
This was the easiest Mario adventure ever, but it was the most beautiful one. The graphs are great (this should shut up those guys who thinks that Wii cant run good graphs), The Songs..... BEST SONGS EVER OMG!!! (thats the reason i like to make the arrangement of this game :P), the story: crap, the gameplay is totally awesome. Oh well, this is one of the games that will be always in my memories
Galaxy was total rubbish. It was far too easy, the levels were all similar, it was monotonous, Sunshine was better.
Perhaps I should start this up again, seeing as the forums on NSM are getting more popular.

Ah, such good memories with this game. My very first game for the N64. Sure, in hindsight, it was quick to beat, but man the nostalgia...2 player mode, multiple paths, multiple endings, the goodness just keeps going. I'll give it a solid 9.3.
I just played that game (in N64 emulator) when Ive finished the SF Adventures for Gamecube.
I really enjoyed it in all aspects :) but i have to say that the game is a bit short....

It was (and still is- I got for VC) fun but too repetetive in places, and it was too arcadey and short.
But still great fun and while like I said before repetetive in places (woah row matchup) it never really loses its funness wtf is that a word?
See, I played it when it first came out, so they arcardy-ness and brevity were less of an issue. For you two who just recently played it, those factors take more of a hit on its score.
I suppose. I mean, it's good for a quick fix, but nowadays even the crappiest of games have a more in-depth story, and hardcore gamers of today want more than dead aliens.

Back when it first came out I was more into arcady- kind of games so I cant take off for that. I cant take off for story since only game with a good story on the 64 that I can remember was OoT and Majora's Mask. It was just super fun and the only problem was that it was too short.

Definately too short, ya.
You can complete it in about 10 mins, no exaggeration.
I was 7 when it came out so I had some trouble with a couple levels but ya, it was even shorter than kirby 64. And thats saying something.

Everything about the game was memorable to me, the levels, the graphics, the music (<3 Starwolf theme), and especially the quotes. The fact that I haven't played a 3-D scroller of this quality since then (what, 10 years?) only solidifies my opinion that this is a landmark of a game.

The actual game is short, but the immense amount of replay value will make you play it for hours on end. Therefore, it is long.

i hated the landmaster levels in sf64... the submarine level was alright though... multiplayer was only good with arwings though... the boss of the asteroid field lvl to this day remains one of my favourite bosses for some reason, i just remember being amazed by the purple ring attack lol...
id personally give it a 9.0, but it should probably deserve a lower score...
Nostalgia factor definitely kicks it up. You think, technically speaking, the score should be lower, but it's just so damn awesome.

Its my faviorite,but its expensive to buy now a days since its a collectable(but already gots one so yay me)

Square should port all their FF games to the DS. The last couple (III, IV, VI for the GBA) worked out really well. It'd be awesome to be able to fit the entire FF collection in a wallet (not that I would put the games in a wallet, but I could if I wanted to...bad example).
I'm not quite sure if the DS can handle FF7 quite yet. Maybe if they had actually made some improvements to the DSi's actual game interfase and what it can handle there would be amazing games coming out for it.
