Check this out! This demonstrates two new aspects to games that Lucasarts is working on. Force Unleashed will be the first game to have them. And Indiana Jones following.

Wow.
That is truly amazing.
Wonder if they have this DMM thing for Flesh.
It would be cool to have DMM for a game like GTA or Burnout.
wow thats cool! Next generation systems... so this wont be for a while will it? ???
It's used in The Force Unleashed...April 2008. For Wii. And DS. And other stuff.
@Harvest: Better yet, imagine it in a Zelda game! Can you imagine a game like Twilight Princess with that in it!!!! Or a METROID GAME! *golden light shines* That.....would.....be...awesome!
@B-K: They mean the next-gens: Wii, PS3, 360. The star wars game is going to be on all three platforms (With the Wii version getting some special treatment) and the Indiana Jones game is going to be on PS3 and 360. Which stinks 'cause I don't have either. I bought a Wii instead. (Which I love my Wii, don't get me wrong. It was SOOOOOOOO worth the money!!!!!)
Oh, God, yeah, can't wait for new franchise games with this. One big disappointment from Corruption was how all the enemies always did the same thing over and over again. That wasn't artificial intelligence, that was just...artificial.
I can see Zelda benefiting from these engines, but frankly, if they applied this to Mario...it would just not work.
This is a great excuse to make an actual Wii Zelda game.

Oh cool! and yes the wii IS soooo worth the money! Lot's of people complain about it, but it works for me ;D But that'll be pretty cool! Finally, a game where the enemies don't do the same thing OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and etc. :)

Yeah- a mario game is just too... cartoon-ish for that kind of stuff.

old. (http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/823/823667/vids_3.html)
About 14 days is not old.
what the hell are you talking about? it was February 2007. i would call that old.
Quote from: Akiro on March 02, 2008, 02:41:16 PMThey said only for Lucas Arts games.
No, it's just Force Unleashed is the first. And if they keep it LucasArts exclusive, someone will rip them off.
well is that why they delayed force unleashed?
And just think... when we are all grandparents, and we are still amazed at all of this stuff that's happening right now, we would probably die of shock from all of the technological advances made that our grandkids get to play on.
well doesn't mean that just because we ll be old that we can't play the new games. lol imagine owning one of your grandkids at one of their games ;D

Good point! That WOULD be hilarious lol... imagine that you're the grandkid, and your 120 year old grandparent comes over and plays the video game with you, and beats you at it really bad...
HILARIOUS!!! ;D
(hmm... I think we need to get another smiley specifically for a HILARIOUS moment...)
yes i think we do need a new smiley preferably one thats laughing. then imagine being like the best online player at that game and owning every kid teen or adult that plays that game online
Yea.....just think, Super Smash Bros. 9 comes out, and you grandson gets it for his birthday.....then you totally pwn him, because you've been playing for like 60 years!!
Must... get .... this game

I saw it at E3 2068 and let me tell you, it was probably one of the best games showed at it.;D
now if only games had good AI
Wait what were we supposed to look for? ???
ok, ok
Imagine that game -
with this technology -
http://emotiv.com/INDS_3/inds_3.html (http://emotiv.com/INDS_3/inds_3.html)
(cant describe how awesome it would be)
Holy crap that's crazy.
holy shit that would be sick!!! and expensive
no, not really, the headsets are designed to be cheap (relitavly) and they can intergrate into any game (you replace key-strokes/mouse+mouse clicks with thoughts or physical actions) - availiable commercially very soon, weird eh, but I was one of their test dummies.
I have to admit, they need to work on the "user friendly" aspect of the device
so then it will be avilable to plenty of people, cool
Amazing and cheap! A great combination.
