All right.  I've always wanted one of these topics on the old site.

In this topic, you can...
If you guys can come up with anything
else to post about, tell me.

All right-First question, by Beethoven II:

Q: I've been playing Battlefield online, but i get "punkbusted"
    What does that mean?

I have no idea...maybe you unlocked it or something?  The same thing happens in Mario Kart DD.  When you unlock all the characters and beat all the tracks you get a new home screen.

1. You spammed, if you clearly read the post, you would know.
2. It says "Gamer", last time I checked, your name had a lower case "g" and had a 4251 after it.

Bethoven:  If you weren't cheating, it could possible be that your ping was too high for the server, some servers have ridiculously low ping limits (like 100, wtf).  Also, if you have a mod installed, you could get kicked.

If it happens randomly mid game then I don't know.

My question:  How do I install drivers for a video card to use my monitor when I need the monitor to work to install the drivers?

 ???

Yes, thats what I'm doing.

Worst case scenario: Faulty graphics card :'(

Best Case Scenario:  ....

Another Scenario:  Need to install the video card drivers.  But to do that, I need to see to install, but I need the drivers to see.  :'(

ugh, I guess I have to take everything out to see if it works without the case to see if it is a short.

What a pain in the ass.  I'll also try a VGA-USB adapter..

An EVGA Nvidia Geforce 8800.

It was some deal on select EVGA cards, I didn't even know mine was one of them but it came so I'm happy.

Do I dare install it on my current PC?  No, it would start a fire.

First, beat the Subspace Emissary. Then go to the level called "Ruins" while playing as Fox. When you reach the part where you ride the platform down the shaft with the crystals, ignore the first door and continue to the bottom. The door there will lead you to Wolf.

Beat Subspace Emissary on any level.  Even coop.
---...---..---...---...

Now go to the ruins, you can pick anybody, even coop once again.
Do as you would normally, until you get the elavator shaft thing with the crystals. There will be a door, ignore it.
Once the thing stops, sit there for a minute or so and the platform disapears, letting you fall to the floor with the door on it.

Funny, I just did this at about 3:16, so i still remember the details.

Hey I was just cruisin' the forums and I saw this and I thought I might as well ask, has anyone played COD4 (Xbox 360) and unlocked the achievement "Skydive to Safety" or something like that, where you have to beat the epilogue mission (where you storm a plane and save a hostage) on veteran? You literally have 1 minute to go through something that takes 3 minutes. if you do it correctly, you should have 3 seconds left by the time you get to the hostage and you shoot the person who has a gun to his face in that time. The closest I have gotten is to the same floor that he is on and then a guy popped out of no where from behind me with a shotgun and of COURSE the AI of the people assisting me did NOTHING. I was wondering if anyone can do this or help me or... I don't know any more... *sob*

I know that you have to read the terminal until it says fragment ends, then you can exit out. You have to do this in all but one (one never says fragment ends, but I'm not sure which one).

So I have a question, my xbox 360 wireless controller no longer connects to the xbox (yes I have tried syncing, it does not work) can I get a new one for free? Is it under some kind of warranty? I got it from gamestop in either last october or a few months ago (All 4 of my controllers are the same so I can't tell which ones I bought when)

Buy a bait bag from Beedle, and buy some All Purpose bait. Near every island is a jumping fish-thing we know as a merman. When you sail by it, the screen will zoom out. When that happens, use the bait. Mr. Merman-thing will come up to you, tell you info, and draw that island in your sea chart.

Here's my list of best boss characters for Boss battles.

Meta Knight. Since most bosses are floating meta knight has a deadly arsenal of areal attacks that will put the bosses in their place.

Ganondorf. He may be slow but he packs a punch! Use his regular melee attacks to do lots of damage in short amounts of time. Amazing performer on ground bosses.

Mr. Game and Watch. You might be thinking, WTF? But yes mr. Game and Watch is an amazing performer in Boss Battles. His rapid short burst arial attacks are what make him great. He is especially good against Master Hand and Crazy Hand.

Toon Link. his fast attacks get the job done in a short amount of time. Less time in battle means the less damage you take.

Kirby. Probably the worst character in boss battles on my list, he's still on the list so hes still very good. Unlike the other character's this one is probably cuz my personal preference. He has rapid attacks on the groung and in the air as well as having high damaging attacks such as his hammer and his stone drop.

This is my list. Most of these characters do not come from my personal preference. They're all just really good in boss mode. Love it or loathe it, this is my list.

Alright. I'll give them all a try. I''ve tried Charizard, Lucario, and Snake, but failed miserably with all three, then got fed up. :P
My closest was Charizard. I think I'll use Toon Link first.

Intense Boss Battles is basically just attack memorization. I beat it on Intense with Meta Knight, but I'm sure most flying characters could do it if they just keep trying and remembering what to do when each boss does what.

You can't on Linux.  And there's already a shitty Touhou port on the Wii.

Terra is in Mobliz I think it's called which is at the edge of a peninsula on that long strip of land I think.  I'm pretty sure Shadow is just in a bar somewhere, but I'm not entirely sure.

In this topic, you can...
  • post questions that you need answers for
  • post cheats
  • post questions on technical dificulties

If you guys can come up with anything
else to post about, tell me.

Easily.

When buying it click the option which states "buy game for someone else".

Then select who on your friends list receives it.

I do believe you can get a converter box of some sort, you'd probably be more productive searching online. I think something like that costs about $40, however, and that's the only real option you have.

I think you just have to stab them with your sword?

My favorite thing to do in OoT is in the Water Temple, instead of actually fighting Morpha, you can stand in the corner, lock on and avoid being hit completely and do the longshot + sword thing you gotta do to beat it. After the tedious Water Temple, having a boss you can cheese so hard is hilarious.

I'm playing Mother 3, but I keep completely failing at the music rhythm combat because of emulator lag.
I've got to chapter 2 and have the pendulum, and that book that lets you practice against monsters, but I can't get more than a 2-3 hit combo, and it feels like a fluke every time I get it.
I'm using VBA-M, btw.
Any suggestions to reduce lag or improve my skill?

I use the a different means of emulating the game (VBA) and it works fine, even on my horrible computer. Honestly I'd recommend trying to drop framerate, but that might make it even harder.

I've gotten 100% in Kirby Super Star Ultra multiple times, but I've noticed that on the file select screen, the save icon I have has 11 little stars, and 5 are slightly dimmer than the others. I've noticed this on multiple DSs, and it's no graphical glitch. Earlier, I beat Helper to Hero with all 20 helpers, and before that, the stars were all dimmer; after, about half of them lit up, and I unlocked the last Theatre clip. What do I need to do to get true 100%? The only thing left to do is to do the regular Arena without an ability, which is really hard with Computer Virus. Any help??

Eventually you'll just have like 3-400 of each arrow though
