You can submit them as Replacement to. And, if you can, please upload them on mediafire.com. That costs us time.

And maybe replace the Double flats into naturals...

Double flats are better in most cases when in keys with a lot of flats like Db major. They preserve the visual of the up and down of the notes on the staff better, where naturals would visually make it seem like there are jumps even when just ascending or descending on a scale, or that notes that are more than a semitone apart when they're not . It's just a stylistic choice.

And I'll use mediafire from now on, wasn't aware they didn't have a wait time.

Replacements are definitely allowed. If your arrangements are better than the ones already on the site we'll replace them with yours. That's actually been one of the focuses around here since it is kinda misleading to have an arrangement on the site when it's got inaccuracies or just doesn't look very nice.So you can go ahead and finish all the sheets you've been working on.

Gusty Garden does sound good and I'm really interested to see what the rest of your arrangements will sound like (especially Zelda. Twilight Princess had some great songs.) Just be sure to keep in mind the Formatting Guidelines (http://www.ninsheetm.us/smf/index.php?topic=481.0) before you post your arrangements in the Submissions Thread. Gusty Garden doesn't need a whole lot of changes, but there's just some things in the headings and details that add consistency to the sheets here.

Anyway, welcome to NSM! It's great to keep seeing new arrangers around here.

Hmmm, yes and no. In places like measure 68, it makes no sense to use E double flat when the chord is clearly Bb Major. Accidentals aren't just to do with the key signature, they are also based on the 'chord of the bar (or beat)' so to speak. Take the Guru Guru arrangement on the site from LoZ: MM for example (yes I know it's just the song of storms). In measure 3 of the 3rd line, it makes no sense putting a Db there because the chord is plainly A Major.

Basically what I'm saying is that blanket rules don't work and that accidentals need to be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

On a side note, I think a couple of chords here and there sounds a little off, but alas time is short and I don't have time right now to compare it properly with the original.

Whoops, I nearly forgot. Welcome to NSM!  :)

I assume you were referring to the header on the sheets in the youtube video. I made that the day before I registered here, so I didn't have it in 'NSM format', but the sheets I linked to in my first post are.

Good point. I've edited some of the accidentals and re-uploaded everything to mediafire in my first post.

And thanks for the welcomes.

Um, yeah I was looking at the YouTube video. Sorry about the confusion there.

Just from looking at the PDF (I'm at uni so I can't listen), I think the only problem spot might be in 22-25 with some intense overlapping.

Other than that, I'd have to say it looks pretty good.

Cool. I like this song a lot so I really appreciate the replacement. The overlapping just is not practical to play though, but the notes sound spot on.

One small suggestion (now that I'm home), perhaps you could add the grace notes at the beginning just before the first quaver? (G# -> B btw)

And one even smaller pedantic thing, slurs are supposed to extend over tied notes, not just to the first note of a tie.

For some reason I thought you only extended slurs to the last tied note if it went into another measure. *shrug* Updated and reupped everything to that folder.

Did you want to submit this as a replacement?

No... This track wasn't done yet for [only 3 were, games came out 12 days ago]

EDIT: Just realized that this track was in pokemon diamond, pearl, and platinum too. The only difference I could hear from one listen is that the first measure starts off a little slower (q=150?) and then hits full tempo about 2 or 3 seconds into it.

Bleh, that's what I was trying to imply.
