I'm writing a re-telling of PMD2 for my girlfriend who never got around to playing it but loved the first game. I have the first 8 chapters done and plan to continue more later on.

Not bad! Just a small suggestion, I'd try to add a little more detail when the characters are speaking (like using said over and over - try to fix that) but otherwise I can't wait to read the rest :3

I've read ALOT of PMD fanfictions of the years (yay Serebii.net forums ::)), so my standards for what I could consider a "good" PMD fanfic might be somewhat high. There is really nothing wrong with your fanfic Night, it's quite nice, but I simply could not help but yawn when I quickly discovered it was, for the most part, a narrated version of the in-game script. Chapter 7's departure caught my interest though ;)
The reason i'm using the main story is because i'm actually writing it for my girlfriend who loved PMD 1 but never got around to PMD2.

Meh I gave up. It's pretty much a re-telling of the story but with some extra plot points.
Yeah, but it is really interesting! I played Sky, but this is actually different with speech and a lot of other aspects, and I found that I enjoyed it!
Maybe when I finish the other one.
UPDATE!
I just realized I totally forgot about this. I'm going to pick this back up in the off-season of the other story. I know, it's just the main story, but I'm also working on extra plot points!
Did you still want me to write the special episodes or something? XD I swear we had a discussion on this.

Also, bad news and good news. The bad news is that I lost my copy of Explorers of Time. The good news is I bought Explorers of Sky. So we can continue as soon as I catch up.
Sky is better anyways. NEw items and stuff like that, plus Shaymin. The story is the same though
