It sounds good, but a few measures near the middle of the song (before it repeats) are iffy. Other than that, its a great first arrangement
Thanks! I'll take a look :D
About time signature:
I feel 3/4 all the way, so I don't think there's any need for 4/4 and 5/4 here and there, just 3/4. (?)
:)
thinking about this now, that makes a lot more sense
Here is the new song, "Agate Village" is mostly complete.

Thats a link to the Normal Battle, but its still good
When you want to share a file using Dropbox, go to your Dropbox folder, go to Public, right-click it the file, hover over Dropbox, and select "Copy Public Link". Then, paste that link here on the forums. That way, we can DIRECTLY and INSTANTLY access the file without having to go to the site.
So could you still get to the agate village one? is this right?

That link still takes me to dropbox.com. When done right, the link should have the file extension on the end.
For example, a link for an midi would have ".mid" on the end. Mus would have ".mus" on the end.
Instead of going to dropbox.com at all, just hit the little dropbox icon on the bottom-right corner of the screen, (hotbar, I believe it's called, (I can't remember)), and click "Open Dropbox folder". Then, go to the "Public" folder, right click the file you want, go to the "dropbox" list, and hit "copy public link". Then paste that as your link.

Yes just like that. Though it looks like you've put it in a folder with the name of the song, which I find excessive and unnecessary.
i have 4 different files for each song, so that's why, just for organization... now for the feedback?
heres the .mus:

Key - Give it one. Notice the importance of the note G in this song, and how pretty much the only accidental you ever encounter in this song is F#. These two things give strong evidence towards what key signature should be applied to this song. Also, there are a few Bb's somewhere that you need to spell out as A#.
Time signature/Rhythms - It's wrong. Are you familiar with the concept of compound time signatures, or perhaps "swing"? Both can be used here, though for this type of song, swing is more appropriate. Feel the beat, notice how you can count "1-&-e, 2-&-e, 3-&-e, 4-&-e", or in other words, 3 subdivisions inside each beat? 4/4 time is designed for 2 subdivisions per beat, 4 beats total, where as 12/8 time is designed for 3 subdivisions per beat, 4 beats total (because with 12/8, a dotted quarter note is 1 beat, so 3/8 x 4 = 12/8).
Cutting to the chase, you need to write this song out with swung triplets, which means starting from scratch.

No need to start from scratch, it'll only take me a moment.

Thank you shadow for fixing this. I write in a different program but because of the site rules, I have to import it into finale to get the .mus which creates more problems with the file.

I just rewrite all my arrangements into finale.. It's a pain, but there's no other way to make it look
good. right. acceptable.
hahaha, why cant we just use the programs we originally write in, not everybody has money for the real finale and notepad sucks :-\

Because then we'd have to provide files for everything on the site for each program.
mhm, fine... :-X
Here is Mt. Battle: The sheet is very rough and there is nothing I personally can do to fix that, I use a different program from finale making that very difficult for me to upload those files and ends up with them being very low quality sheets, if anyone would volunteer to fix it possibly?

It would be easier to see if you put the url tag (for lack of the proper word) as the file type, and put all those underneath the song title. (i.e. MIDI (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yspsq0kmbzz9nqy/5_Sk2ZIYzj/Music/Mt%20Battle/Mt%20Battle.mid))
I dont know what you mean. Please explain.
He means to link the file like this, [MUS] (https://dl.dropbox.com/u/35209091/SSBM%20-%20Corneria.mus), instead of https://dl.dropbox.com/u/35209091/SSBM%20-%20Corneria.mus
Quote from: Winter on December 06, 2011, 12:00:54 AMIt's simple. First use
[url=http://mediafire.com/skdjghskdf]
Next, write the text you want to appear followed by [/url]
Mus[/url]
It will look like this before you post it
[url=http://mediafire.com/skdjghskdf]Mus[/url]
And this afterwards:
Mus (http://mediafire.com/skdjghskdf)
Remember those steps, I'll show you again with the {} brackets.
{url=LINK GOES HERE}THE TEXT YOU WANT US TO SEE GOES HERE{/url}
And all the coding is orange.
Of course, I probably made it look hard, Damn.
Is that right?
No. The beauty of Dropbox, as opposed to Mediafire, is direct linking, which allows you to access the file right here from NSM.

It's just a bunch of copypasta, and it makes other people's lives easier.
That's really the only thing I care about. It makes it so that you don't have to open a PDF reader to see the PDF, and you don't have to click twice to download a MUS (god forbid!).
