Wow, it reminds me of N64 music... Like it's from DK 64 or something. Around the end of the opening I think I heard a funny chord, but whatever. The cello part during the trumpet solo sounded funny right at the end though. Really sinister, and I like the timpani beat.

Yeah this piece is supposed to kinda sound like N64 music, thats where i got the idea :P I'll look around for the strange chords ;) I just threw some stuff in last minute towards the end.

As long as you don't do what Brawl did (aka create 100 remixes of the same song) they're both awesome.
For the Level music...I think that you could make a better transition from the end to the beginning. It's kind of abrupt, I think.
Boss: On measure 24 and 25, there's a very short flute solo. I...do not like that part. It seems to me to just be...there. :P Coming from somebody with just about no music experience whatsoever. It happens again on Measure 64 and 65.
oh- i thought i got rid of those flute things. And yeah- I'm not gonna do a bunch of remixes. I'm only gonna do like- an inside version. As for the ending- i followed what angry aztec kinda does. Changes key and then repeats. ???

@random_goldfish: Thanks! I got the idea from TTC, but the melody is different- the rythym of the melody is similar, but the melody is different. The bass, melody, and chord progressions are different. :)

sry for double posting. I've got a new song in progress- it's called ghostly galleon. It's supposed to be a haunted-shipyard/ship kind of feel. Listen to what I've done so-far through to get the full feel of the song.
Akiro: I got so tired of the Main theme remixes... it got annoying ,even though the main theme was totally awesome.
B-K: Ghostly Galleon sounds like what you want it to sound like, I just don't like it. I have a thing against slow, dark songs. :P

Fractious Forest is good. I think that the transition from the end part of the song to the beginning could be better, but that's the only problem that I see.

i definatly like all the songs, and they DEFINTLY sound like banjo.
my favorite is the venom level, but contrast to master penguin's thoughts, i didnt like the icyrock caves as much.

I'm currently working on a new song- it's a lot different from my previous compositions... it's much more upbeat. The level that goes with it (in my mind lol) is like mumbo's mountain. But trust me, i'm pretty sure there's nothing like this in B-K or B-T. It's very... jazzy ;D

They`re not my style. I don`t think of them as bad songs, as they`re put together nicely. They just don`t attract to me.

Finished it- This song is quite interesting actually. At first I didn't like the direction it was going, but I'm glad I kept it the way it is, it sounds pretty cool (imo). I'd like a more original name, but that's all I could think of :P

Well- idk lol, usually (since I'm writing this for Video games), I picture the kind of level the song will be in, and then I start hearing the tune in my head. Sometimes, if I'm completely stuck, I'll listen to a song and try to bounce off of the idea. It's weird though, most of the time, the melody just comes as I'm writing !

I've started a new project. My Banjo-style project is done for now, the only thing I'm waiting for is for my friend to enhance the banjo songs to sound better. I'm starting project with more Viva Piñata style music. Here's my first one, it's called "Day Time (http://www.savefile.com/files/1636331)". I think you'll be rather surprised at this composition. It's EXTREMELY different from my other songs (well a lot different anyways). PLZ leave feedback for this one! there'll be more though ;)
PS. Planning to Orchestrate this piece (or use really high quality soundfonts).

errr... i didn't use soundfonts, I gave em' to my friend Smouvy at the RareWitchProject who took my midi and re-created it using B-K soundfonts. If you wanna get in contact with him, join the RWP and then PM him :) I do know however, that he used FL Studios, but idk if the soundfonts with it.
