I have a lazer mouse from radio shack. Over the past, like, two days, it has been working off and on, often within seconds. I found out via Windows's crappiness that the computer is having trouble recognizing it as a mouse. It is plugged in a usb port. Help! (yes, I have been navigating the internet with just the keyboard)
Does it have batteries? I had a wireless laser mouse before, and as the batteries were reaching the ends of their lives, the mouse would get all wiggy. If so replace the batteries and VOILA! ;D (Hopefully)
Get a mouse with a tail=Fix'd
Is there something in the way? Like blocking the USB port and mouse?
I figured it out. There was a small tear in the cord.
