Only four measures in B major? If the rest of the piece is in the original key, I don't think it's worth it to switch key signatures for that short of a section. Of course, that depends on the piece. What piece are you arranging?

For future reference, there's a topic (http://forum.ninsheetmusic.org/index.php?topic=685.0) for this. Yeah, it's not actually that easy to spot.... xD

Splattack from splatoons. If it is not worth switching, could you tell me witch notes actually get played as sharps in that key signature?

Here it is...[splattack mus file] (https://www.dropbox.com/s/rjbva224fjcl9zq/Splattack.mus?dl=0) The last four measures show where the notes  should be in that key signature.....

Ah, Splattack. For the record, it shifts into Bb Major, not B Major. Can't you just notate the piece in A Major for now and have someone change the key sig later? Just put down the correct notes for now. (unless someone wants to swoop in and change it in which case more power to you)

EDIT: My bad, it's Bb minor and A minor.

I'm willing to do it; how long does it go into Bb minor? Is it still only 4 measures or is it longer?

Actually...it is only four measures, so still no reason to change it. Just make sure in those measures you flat B's, D's, E's, G's, and A's and you will be fine!

With the Splattack thing. There is already 2 arrangements of it on site, splattack! and the E3 trailer version Splattack! (E3PV), but I don't know if there are more versions of Splattack that haven't been arranged.

I don't know that sonic and knuckles composer, but try wikipedia, or youtube search for the credits from the game a see if you can find the composer.

Also that Rayman submission, I think his/her name was "N", the one who arranged it.

ooh wops... lol
btw I don't think a key change is needed there, it's just for one phrase, then it goes back again.

That's already been done. I needed help in finding a composer, but I dodn't want to make a new topic for it. So I decided to use my old topic I created a while ago

So I want to transcribe a song that a youtuber made. It will not go on the main site, but I just wanted to know if there was any legal things I should know about before I make it.

You can transcribe anything you want. Calling it your own work would be wrong though; it would be your transcription of the work, not your own composition.

Great. Thanks! I'll be sure to make it clear that I did not create the work, but that I transcribed it.
Title: centering "mini-titles"
Post by: BrainyLucario on February 19, 2016, 04:13:54 AM
Is there a way to center the "mini-titles" in finale notepad?
Title: Re: Question Regarding Orchestration.
Post by: Olimar12345 on February 19, 2016, 05:17:24 AM
The keyboard shortcut to center any text box is Ctrl Shift '
Though, there's a chance it doesn't work in notepad. If this is he case, post the arrangement in the "help for lower users" topic. For the future, the template files should have correct alignment for all text boxes.

You mean this (http://forum.ninsheetmusic.org/index.php?topic=685.0), right?

Yes. At one point in history we had an actual topic named the "Help For Lower Finale Users Topic," and sometimes I forget that it's not called that now.

I really didn't want to ask for something to be done that i could possibly do myself. When ever I have a question. I just post it in this topic so i don't have to create a new topic every time i need help. Does NSM Even have a general finale question topic? I know about the NSM Resources topic, but that's for resources, not questions. Why not make one, or just use this topic?

.... If it's possible then do it??  I was literally telling you how to do it so that you could try it, not for my own health .-.
