Title: PDS' Compositions
Post by: Pianist Da Sootopolis on March 21, 2016, 01:39:29 AM
So, more to come soon, but for now, enjoy a simple little mazurka, obviously inspired by those of Chopin.

Soon to come: 3 short pieces (that are connected), 4 etudes, 2-4 impromptus, among others.

Mazurka in A minor (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1t1vk9vsi79wxel/AAAsgcHhA2AoN1slV5-et_h3a?dl=0), Op. 3 (Only because I wrote this later but put it into Finale later).

Cheers for now! Hopefully it isn't too harsh on the ears!

Yay, waltz! I can see how this song is inspired from Chopin, it's very repetitive. I like it though! :)

It was sort of tough to decide if it was a mazurka or a waltz, as the meter is slightly more Viennese than Polish. However, the general feel and texture (especially the trills) are evocative of salon music, so that was my decision :)
Thanks mate!
