Go to solaceon ruins and battle 100 unowns and win all of the battles. then, go to the bottom floor and read the enscription. finally, your next battle will be against a celebi from levels 17-23. To get jirachi, go to iron island and into the cave where you get lucario. head down the right stair case, win 100 battles, and your next battle should be jirachi. with celebi, a nest ball is basically like a master ball when catching it, and both of these methods aren't 100% confirmed, but will most likely work.
if they aren't 100% confirmed, they involve legendaries, they are insanely long, they are most likely

i would do the log but i don't have nearly enough time (or that big of an attention span) to get fight 100 battles and win them all... and especially log each one... but i know there are people who do...
oh and i have seen a video on youtube claiming this to be true.... but they coulda used AR or something...
They DO use action replay, it's incredibly easy to do so.

Jirachi could be obtained from either an event or a Pokemon Colosseum Pre-Release disk, but I think you can only find those on ebay now...
Celebi, weeell, can only be obtained through events.

No you can't. That was over weeks ago. You can, however, go to the Pokemon Center in New York City if you missed Toys R Us and want one (I think this one goes til the end of June).

why waste your time. I just got Darkrai, Arceus and the other one (can't remember the name) from the Action Replay. Darkrai's a pimp btw, i love it like i love my mother.
Jirachi can be obtained from the European version of Pokémon Channel.
Celebi can be obtained from the Japanese bonus disc version of Pokémon Colloseum.
The way you mentioned seems VERY unlikely for it to work and I've never heard anything similar like it.
Heh I actually own the Colosseum bonus disc, so I can get as many Jirachis as I want :D

I'm not going to bother trying this now, because i just got a celebi from wifi, and i'm not beating the elite four 10 times and doing 100 battles just to get jirachi, which i don't even need for the national dex, because it doesn't count the event legendaries. and btw, you know how legendaries are considered "ubers", well did you know that wobbuffet is also considered an "uber".

Wob was only Uber for the Advance generation iirc, and that was only really to prevent ties/boringly long matches when two Wobs lock each other Shadow Tag.
Not that that's the only reason. Locking anything + Encore + easy counter attack killing is pretty overpowering.
Heh, I didn't waste my time. AR ftw. I have every legendary. But most of 'em I got legitly. I just don't want to go to fucking New York or Oregon or Saturn to get them. So I used it to get Arceus, Darkrai, Shaymin, Dexoysis, Celibi, and a few shinys. The rest I already have. My friend had the Bonus Disc from Collosim and he gave me a bunch of 'em, I kept one and gave the rest to my friends.
Oh after writing this I realized, I don't have every legendary, I forgot Lugia and Ho-oh. I have no idea how to get them without hacking and I don't know if anyone made a code so you could get them. I don't even think they are in the Diamond and Pearl Poke`dex. It'd be interesting to find out how to get them without hacking though.
So to derive off of this topic a little, How do you get Lugia and Ho-oh?
lugia and ho oh were from navel rock in leaf green... and lugia is from xd while ho oh is from colloseum.... i have both of them =P.
