Concerto:  Thank you Mr. Dekudude for having me today.
Dekudude:  No problem.....Sir.
Concerto:  Well, first off, The peoples want to know what's going on inside that mind of yours?[/color]
Dekudude:...not a lot most of the time.
Concerto:  Quite!  What is your favorite color?
Dekudude:  Is black a color?  If so, that.
Concerto:  No its a shade!  But we'll accept that!
Dekudude:  Otherwise, I'd have to go with a deep blue
Concerto:  When did your obsession with Deku's begin?
Dekudude:  Ever since I first played Majora's Mask.  I got the Ocarina and the Deku Mask and I put it on...played the ocarina "WTF! HORNS!!!!"  and ever since, I loved Deku Link And Dekus are basically Deku Links only in other shapes and sizes...and colors.  Except black and blue. D=
Concerto:  Interesting.  If you had a chance to meet a Deku Link, what would your first reaction be?
Dekudude:  HOLY CRAP!!! *hides*
Concerto:  Really?  Moving on.  What are some of your hobbies?
Dekudude:  Web development, of course. However, I also play piano, and occasionally draw... which my talents are slowly degrading in.  If browsing the internet coutns, I'll also throw that in, as I do all sorts of random things on it.
Concerto:  Hmm, are there ANY hobbies that don't involve music, computer or videogames?
Dekudude:  I honestly don't play a lot of video games. 
Concerto:  Shocker
Dekudude:  I do occasionally do other random things, though such as fold money into origami which I tried once then gave up on and stuff of that sorts
Concerto:  Well, what an uninteresting person.  Next Question!
Dekudude:  *slap*
Concerto:  *ow*  What, Mr. Deku, is your BIGGEST secret?
Dekudude:  Not really sure.   I don't keep a lot of secrets, as there isn't a lot to keep
Concerto:  But?
Dekudude:  But I guess the fact I want to join the military in some branch of espionage could count, as I rarely discuss that with anyone... but it peeps out occasionally...and I break stuff on NSM a lot. 
Concerto:  Very well!  Espionage, how do you feel about that?
Dekudude:  O_o;  Err...It... sounds like an exciting career, I guess.

Kefka: I'd probably go and destroy half of it with firey explosions, kill off everybody I hated with painful deaths, then just go off and be general demonic

Kefka:Stupid people, ignorant people.  Bascially that general group.
Concerto: How do you feel about that?
Kefka: Fine?  How am I supposed to feel about that >_>
Concerto: Whatever you choose!~ What do you see yourself doing five years from now?
Kefka: Being in college :D

Kefka: career-wise?

Kefka: Some sort of tech thing like 3D design or programming

Kefka: well getting things done efficiently would be best, time is money

Slow: What is your favorite video game ever, and why?
Ruto: xD good question...I've actually spent hundreds of hours playing certain video games but I'll never forget Twilight Princess^^ I even saved the game right before the last Ganon battles so I can keep replaying in the overworld, over and over...and the boss fights too^^
Slow: I figured you'd pick a Zelda game, your username being what it is. That's interesting.
Slow: Alright, who is your favorite musical artist, and what is your favorite song?
Ruto: I don't really listen to a lot of people singing. Just soundtracks mostly. I remember how much I liked Howard Shore's stuff back when I was a kid and LOTR was in theatres and stuff. But I can't settle on just one person or piece XD
Slow: Haha, it's the same with me. Film soundtracks are pretty much all I listen to.
Slow: If you were a Pokemon, which one would you want to be?
Ruto: Assuming legendaries and Pikachu doesn't count (yeah everyone wants to be one...)...Charmander? I really like Psyduck but I don't think I can live with the constant headaches, so yeah
Ruto: Whoops I forgot Charmander dies when the flame on its tail goes out XD
Ruto: ...I'll have to think about this some more XD maybe something that can fly would be nice^^

Slow: So, here's something a little more personal. What's the best and worst thing about having three sisters? Remember, Saria's going to see this. ;)

Ruto: Best: If you need money, cheap labor or a favor, I know who to ask!
Ruto:Worst: Omg they never shut up sometimes. THey nag, argue, yell and go on and on about their boyfriends...
Ruto: Also without a brother, a lot of heavy lifting and stuff never get done. I can only do so much with a tool kit xD

Ruto: someone who puts up with all my nonsense I guess I really like a good sense of humor. Especially if he doesn't know he's funny and therefore doesn't constantly try to act like the funny guy.
Slow: What's your biggest dream for the future?
Ruto: I'd really like to be a college professor in some stable, rich country someday...that includes a lot of mini steps xD
Slow: Well, of course, we're talking broadly here.
Slow: I could see you being a college science professor.

Slow: You're fairly big into art, right? What was the first piece of art you ever created that really meant something to you, that made you realize, "Wow, I really like doing this?"
Ruto: In college I took a drawing class, and on the first day, we had to do a bunch of studies with random things like bones and pumpkins, using charcoals, which I never used before. It turned out pretty well xD I really liked the piece with the bone actually
Ruto: it was good and it wasn't a fluke! :D
Slow: That smiley is interesting... are your teeth that shiny in real life?
Slow: You aren't obligated to answer that without a lawyer present.
Slow: Forget it, next question.
Slow: What made you decide you wanted to go to school for science?
Ruto: I remember wanting to be a scientist when I was 7. I remember the Magic School Bus books/TV show...I also used to read a lot about science and won a bunch of awards for it in middle school and high school. It was pretty obvious what I was getting into, actually xD
Slow: Wow, that's really cool! I have a friend who's going to major in a similar area, this may be a weird question but what advice, if any, would you give to her? XD[/color]
Ruto: Forget about having a social life and really pay attention in the required math classes xD
Ruto: After grading my class's exams and homework all year, the people who really, really do "fine" are the anti social ones. The others just say they are XD

Also, don't rely on the curve to boost your grade
Slow: Oh goodness XD well I think I might hold off on relaying that advice until it's necessary
Slow: Anyway, do you have a particular memory of school that will always stay with you?
Ruto: I remember being asked to sing solo in music class in 6th grade...that was AWFUL xD but I'll never forget it. In a bad way -.-

Ruto: I don't even know why they put me in that class xD

Ruto: xD! I've always liked piano but I never got around playing it...fail
Ruto: I have several ocarinas and I like those actually xD fat sis got one from thailand that was pretty cool despite the fact she had dropped and broken it right before she gave it to me

Slow: What is your least favorite food, absolutely will not eat on any occasion?
Ruto: Omg, I hate celery. The taste, especially...how is something like that supposed to taste good?
Ruto: It ruins the taste of everything

Ruto: It runs in the family. I don't think any of my sisters can stand the taste either

Slow:   My name is Jordan, Slow to all you NSMers not blessed enough to know me in real life, Chinchilla to many of my friends, and I'm a MUSICIAN because I put notes together.
SFK:   mmmmhmmmmmm. So what's this Chinchilla nickname about?[
Slow:   It doesn't make a remote amount of sense, like most beautiful and awesome things in this here earth we live in.
Slow:   Basically, this random chick's like

SFK:   I certainly hope that's not the only thing that got stuck for sacrificing your dignity in such a manner for a random chick.

SFK:   ABout being a MUSCIAN
SFK:   what instruments do you play
SFK:   QUESTION MARK
Slow:   I play piano. How ORIGINAL, I know.
Slow:   But I write and arrange for all manner of orchestral things.
SFK:   mhmmmmmm. wHAT STYLE OF MUSIC WOULD YOU SAY YOU MOSTLY COMPOSE, IF YOU CAN ANSWET THAT?
SFK:   silly me and caps lock
Slow:   Contemporarily classical, if such a thing even exists. It's classical sounding but often weird and contemporary.
SFK:   mkay. Any major influential composers on how you write? I imagine Danny Elfman(obviously, because you're Slow) but any others?
Slow:   Mainly Danny Elfman, also a bit of Joe Hisaishi, but I think especially Hans Zimmer. Because he writes music that isn't always that fantastic, but it usually sounds dramatic and cool and goes over well
SFK:   I see. Now about this whole Tim Burton thing. What about his films seems to fascinate you so greatly?
Slow:   I'm not sure, because quite often I realize that his films aren't that great. But when I first saw Nightmare Before Christmas, which he produced, I thought it was the most brilliant thing ever created. He has a certain darkness that is usually pretty cool, and his movies often fall into the "creepy as hell but sorta weirdly comical" genre, which fascinates me
Slow:   I like Sweeney Todd the best now, probably.
SFK:   Still haven't had the opportunity to see it myself, unfortunately.
Slow:   I'd get on that. Or look up the song "A Little Priest." Piece of genius, in my opinion.
Slow:   Yknow, if you can get past the whole "eating people" thing.

SFK:   So what do you want to do in the future? Your dream career and if so, a more realistic/fall back option?
Slow:   Let's see. My dream career is being a composer for films or video games (preferably films, but either would be fantastic). I realize this isn't overtly realistic, so if not I think I'd like to become a teacher, either of music or English literature. Or a computer engineer. Idk.
SFK:   Let's see......
SFK:   video games, you probably like them. What are your favorites?
Slow:   I love tons of them.... Pokemon, all of the main series Pokemon games are probably my favorites. I also love the 3D Super Mario platformers, especially 64 and the galaxy games. Oh, and every Professor Layton game ever.
SFK:   mmmmhmmmmmmm
Slow:   The Layton games are my favorite storylines.
Slow:   mmmmhmmmmmmm
SFK:   So Slow, you seem to prefer film remakes starring Johnny Depp over their classic counter-parts(Alice in Wonderland, Willy Wonka/Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). In all honesty, do you think a Mary Poppins remakes starring Johnny Depp(as Ms. Poppins of course) and directed by Tim Burton, would be better than the original film?
Slow:   Actually I didn't like Johnny Depp in Alice in Wonderland and prefer the AMAZING original XD
Slow:   But anyway
Slow:   While it's true any film where Tim Burton directs Johnny Depp pretending to be a woman would be amazing (see: Ed Wood)...the fact remains that the original was just so epic. I think a Tim Burton-directed Mary Poppins would still be epic though.
SFK:   It had come to my understanding that you were not a fan of the original Mary Poppins.
SFK:   Oh wells.
SFK:   Let's see.....
Slow:   I love the original Mary Poppins, it was just such a kick in the ass to the source material which was far superior.

SFK:   What's the strangest thing you've read in the news recently?
Slow:   Probably that incident where the mayor of NY wants companies to get rid of supersized drinks. NO BIG DRINKS, PEOPLE HAVE TOO MUCH LIQUIDS. Or something. But in all honesty, that's probably the stupidest way to prevent obesity I've ever heard.
Slow:   And I've heard a LOT of stupid ways to prevent obesity.
SFK:   Yeah, Bloomberg is kinda retarded.

SFK:   If you had to call someone on NSM to bail you out of prison, who would it be?

OKAY, ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO CONDUCT AN INTERVIEW SPEAK UP NOW. THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE VOLUNTEERING:
1. You need to have a lot of time. I'd say at least an hour, maybe more, should be the length of the interview.
2. Have some good questions ready! Make sure you have enough to keep it going for a while.
3. Make sure some of the questions would fit well with the interviewee! Ex: when SFK interviewed me, he asked me about film composers because he knew I'm into movie music.

As for collaboration... I've always wanted to do a Let's Play of a (Pokémon) game, but I'm lazy. I thought about it once, and it would be pretty awesome to do it with people from NSM... maybe a different person each episode? I don't know, but as far as collaboration goes, I think it could be pretty interesting.

Don't count on it. I never got more than two questions and based on others' comments, they didn't get much either. Just make sure you fill up an hour at least and have backups if you run out of things to say.

We gave each other nicknames, and I got Nebu. I can't remember why, really, and it turned into Nebbles eventually. I'm Nebbles to almost everyone but family, teachers and a few friends, really.

Okay, we need to lay some ground rules.

1. YOUR INTERVIEW MUST LAST AT LEAST ONE HOUR. I thought this had been made clear, but evidently not. No matter how long the answers are, one hour is the minimum time limit. Make SURE you have that much time and enough questions if you sign up.

2. YOU MUST SIGN UP. No more "declaring yourself" an interviewer. You can't interview twice in a row if others would like to interview too.

3. OLDER MEMBERS GET SENIORITY. This will be a basic rule of thumb as to which order the interviews will take place.

[6:31:48 PM] Concerto: Hammy 2 died slowly, after a being hit by a high impact snowball.  At first he seemed fine, but his eye slowly fell out of his socket after a few days.  He died later to infection.
[6:32:38 PM] Concerto: Hammy 3 and 4 went MIA after being left outside in a brick fort.  Sadly most bricks have hammy sized holes in them.

I think that's a little bit too much for this interview ;). But of course there are many things I love about her: she's intelligent, witty and much more.

Slow: What got [you] interested in music?

That's a good question! I have never thought about that. First of all I remember I got a toy that could play various melodies by pressing different buttons. I was 5-6 years old and I wanted to know who were the composers and such. I just remember Beethoven's Ode to Joy. Well... then my parents convinced me to play the piano even though I didn't want to. But it was so much fun that I never stopped. And then it's classical music. Living in my hometown (eisenstadt)/50 miles away from Vienna means getting in touch with Haydn's/ Mozart's and Beethoven's music. Last but not least, all the melodies from SM 64. they're all great.

Favourite Pokemon... that's a tough one. Zubat.......... not. I think it's Squirtle for being the first Pokemon I have ever trained. Stupid reason but that's me^^. My favourite game was definitely Pokemon Gold. Simply because, you could visit both regions: Kanto and Johto. Also I remember when I got this awesome game, who I played it with, ....

[10:42:51 PM] Zachary Loy: I adore the Beatles, though. I grew up with their music and they have found a special influence in me.

[10:43:52 PM] Daniel: And what about things like Jazz and Ragtime?
[10:44:33 PM] Zachary Loy: Ragtime is a fun form I love to work with.
[10:45:00 PM] Zachary Loy: It's easily built upon, and almost anything can be played in Ragtime.
[10:46:09 PM] Zachary Loy: Jazz is a bit trickier, I prefer the early stuff, back when it was mostly Stride Piano and the early adopters of the style (Irving Berlin, the Gershwins, etc.)
