[NDS] Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney - "Trucy" - Chipmunk884 MUS MIDI

Note 1: Again, made in 2009, but this time I remembered to follow exactly how sheets are supposed to be formated.  Enjoy :)

Nintendude73: Perfectly formatted, thanks, but almost the entire song consists of notes that are doubled between the two staffs.  Seems kind of silly to me.

Me: Does that mean it isn't accepted?  I know that the notes are doubled, but there honestly isn't another part that would work well for the bass clef, so doubling the notes (which does exist in the original music) seems like the best option.

Nintendude73: If there's no bass part, don't include anything.  It's pointless to double the notes because a person can't play the doubled ones.

Could somebody help me get the correct key signature for Trucy.  After reviewing it, it has a lot of sharps/flats, and I know that there is some keysignature that will fix it.  Thanks in advance!

[NDS] Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney - "Testimony" - Chipmunk884 MUS MIDI

[GCN] Animal Crossing - "Totaka's Song" - Chipmunk884 MUS MIDI

Note 1: These were made in Finale 2009

From the Desk of Nintendude73: Umm... Cross Examination Moderate links to a song called Testimony.  That one's accepted anyway, but don't forget that Cross Exam hasn't been submitted yet. :P  Totaka's Song is also accepted, it will replace my K.K. Song arrangement because it sucks.  Both had formatting problems, but I fixed them because I'm nice.

From Chipmunk884:  I guess I forgot to change the name to Testimony in this post... sorry.  Also, what formatting problems were there?  I thought that I followed your guidelines exactly when I reformated the sheets to be submitted.  Thanks for being nice and fixing them, though :)

Nintendude73: The titles were too big/not italicized, and the arrangement line was not italicized.  I also like to have "Composition by" and "Arrangement by" on the by-lines.  Nothing huge.  Just things to keep in mind next time. :)

Chipmunk884:  I just reread the post about how to format your sheets to submit, and I also realized that it wasn't formatted correctly like you mention.  sorry :)  I'll make sure next time I format them correctly

Thank you so much, WiiMan96!  I think that sheet can finally be accepted now.

I updated the link and copyright, but I'm pretty sure that the key signature is correct on Testimony.  If it isn't, please tell me the correct key signature.  Here is a link to the post: http://www.ninsheetm.us/smf/index.php?topic=1370.0

Could somebody help me with my sheet, Testimony?  I'm pretty sure that it has the correct BPM and keysignature, but i don't know what the copyright should be.  I could use some help, because I'm not sure exactly what is wrong with it.

Music / Re: What Instrment(s) Do you play?
March 01, 2009, 10:43:12 AM
I play the piano and trombone.  I am at an advanced level for trombone, and whatever is above advanced for piano, but not master.  Basically, I'm really good at trombone, and can play just about anything on the piano as long as I practice it.  Currently, I'm working on Rhapsody in Blue on the piano, and for those of you who don't know, it's a 28 page song.  I'm to around page 17 for practicing.

Help! / Re: How do you convert a .Mus to a .MP3
February 12, 2009, 12:10:59 PM
kotorfanboy, there is an easier way.  if you go to midi/audio > instrument setup > vst instruments, you can change the channels of all of your instruments to instruments for finale 2009. then click edit and choose the proper garriton version of the instruments, and make sure to check play finale through vst in the midi/audio thing.  I know that it sounds complicated, but if you have done it a lot like i have, it is a real time saver rather than creating a whole new file with the proper instruments and copying and pasting.

Feedback / Question about web site design
January 19, 2009, 05:58:05 AM
I'm hoping that JaMaHa will answer this question, but anybody that knows can answer it too.  My question is 2 part.  1.  What news system do you use now for the main page?  (I know that you used to use CuteNews)  2. Before the website stopped in September, how did you make the sheetmusic upload form so that sheets were added to the main site?  The reason that I ask is because I currently run a website, and I have no idea how to make a file upload form for my website.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Taser9090, I just finished Totaka's song, so you can see it in the submission board under the thread title of Chipmunk884's Arrangements.  I hope you like it!

Piano Arrangements / Re: Chipmunk884's Arrangements

There is a left hand, but there are a lot of rests in the left hand (usually a few bars at a time).  The reason is because there is a melody part in the song and the rest is percussion, which doesn't translate well onto piano, so I got the parts that would actually play well on the piano.

ALPRAS,  I'm guessing your talking about the song Trucy, and you are correct.  I tried to add a left hand based on different parts, but it sounded very bad because it had to be lowered 2 octaves from the original part.  I decided to just have 3 octaves of the main melody, because it sounded better than adding what would normally be the left hand.  Also, how can I save the .mus file so that it can be opened up in the 2008 versions of finale?  I can re-upload the files if I can save it in a backwards compatible format.
