Also, I'm really excited to hear your cover of It's Raining Somewhere Else... assuming your transcription means it'll happen, of course.

Maybe. Possibly not for a while.

Just saying, I had an amazing idea for a Michael Jackson - Mettaton (Death By Glamour) crossover, and that will most definitely happen someday.

EDIT: Why it seems that it was. You read my comment <3

I read all the comments, man! It's always nice to pop into NSM ^^ Sometimes I lurk around here to find sheets that haven't made it to the full site yet ;)

Hey all, long time no see on here. I saw that one of you referred to NSM in a comment that one of you left on my video, and I thought I'd drop in. If this is any help, here's my own transcription of Heartache from Undertale.

I've also got It's Raining Somewhere Else, but it looks as if one of you has finished that already. Here's my transcription anyway.

Glad to see that NSM is still going and it's found some new people, I use your site quite often when I make my videos ^^

Listen for a resolution / cadence. If the resolution feels "strong", it's most likely resolving to the home key.

Help! / Re: Finale Monopolizes the Sound Card

Don't remember how to get to this setting in Finale, but my guess is that you're using different audio drivers for Finale and Audacity. Make sure you haven't mistakenly changed a setting in Finale or Audacity. Not sure what drivers Toshiba uses, but mine is DirectSound, and my laptop is Realtek. Just check the matching drivers :P

*Triple post, but my submission thread is really old*

Just added "Scars of Time" from Chrono Cross! Not sure the arrangement is as fully orchestrated as it could be, but it's decent, at least ^_^

Help! / PrintMusic Limitations?
« on: December 30, 2013, 09:06:05 PM »
I would like to invest in a Finale product so I can start adding my arrangements to this grand database, but I don't think full Finale 2014 ($600) is in my price range, and PrintMusic, judging by the handy-dandy "Finale Product Comparison" seems to have all I would need. I'm wondering if you guys have experience with this and the limitations. These are some issues I would hopefully like light shed on:

-24 stave limit (does this mean 24 lines or 24 single staves per score?)

-Score engraving (Is moving text and other objects around the score easy?)

-Jazz articulation (Falls, scoops, doits, etc.)

That was Musescore. Sadly, don't have Finale, and Finale Notepad wouldn't even come close to having all the features I need to get it to the formatting I'd like. I can usually do a very close mockup with the site's formatting and all that Times New Roman, but this is my personal lead sheet template.
