Nope, you just misinterpreted my previous post. Which is my fault because it was not phrased well (it was like "you do know he's allowed to post them here?"), but this has always been my position
#2
Yes. I agree. I'm not sure why you are trying to tell me this as if I ever disagreed. They are his arrangements and he has a right to post them here. Levi is the one who is trying to argue he shouldn't. Not me.
#4
He's allowed to advertise them here?
#5
did you not read the prior discussion about how he's not submitting any of them
#6
Yea if he wanted to upload them to the site he wouldn't be linking to them off-site and wouldn't have taken down several of his arrangements from NSM main site. Pretty obvious imo

if a forum is literally just two people talking examine why this has come to pass and why the forum is that dead than discouraging them from keeping it alive

Meant to post earlier but laptop was having issues. We cool with the updates?

I'll fix it to be consistent then, I'll get on that this afternoon when I get home from work

I think that's the point: he disagrees with Seb. Is there a difference?

Oh, I didn't realize the notation itself was the problem. It played back the way I meant it to and I'm not familiar with bends, so I  figured it was kind of an interchangeable notation. I can change that. My bad.

Quote from: Sebastian on January 05, 2019, 01:55:52 PMFew things:

- I'm curious about the bends or glissandos in M. 2 & 4. They're definitely bends according to the original, but I'm not sure how they're supposed to be executed on the piano or if they're appropriate for piano solo music.

I can't say that I agree with the bolded part of your statement when this same website has music that has percussion or vocal-noise instructions, so saying it's not appropriate is inconsistent with the acceptable ways to write music according to this site, and also I have seen solo piano compositions with instructions that call for the player to lay their forearm down across the piano keys, so I think it's also unfair to say it's inappropriate even if you're referencing literature outside of NSM.

That said, if you have a better suggestion to notate it, I am all ears. It's just not really very helpful to say you don't think it works and leave it at that.

The others I'll fix when I fix my laptop tomorrow.
