White elephant parties at Christmas time are the best

Went to the state track meet today (high school) with high expectations from basically everyone at my school. I was seeded 1st in the high jump so of course people expected me to win. Naturally, I missed my first 3 attempts at the height I started at and went out immediately. My legs have been messed up lately so I didn't expect to do great but it just really stinks that I let down all of my peers. Also, my female friend went out of her way to take the several-hour-trip to watch and support me for the first time this season and she got to see that. Now I get to deal with answering "Did you win states?!" for the next few weeks. Kinda bummed

Dude that's awesome! I'm really glad that some people recognize how much of a masterpiece this song is. It'll probably be a challenging band arrangement, but I look forward to hearing the final result. Will there be a band performing your final arrangement?

I can't stop listening to these two songs at the moment...it's so nice to hear unique music when so much sounds the same these days

It may sound childish but video games have inspired me in that I want to be able to haul myself up ledges via chin-up-on-steroids like freakin' King Kong as done by virtually all assassins (but namely Ezio) from Assassin's Creed. Or Nathan Drake. He's cool too.

I can see that. When I was little I played Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (great game btw) and I used to fall asleep imagining myself doing the crazy acrobatics the prince did in the game(s). I spent a lot of time in the woods as a little kid trying to replicate things for games I played like LoZ both by myself and with my friends. Kinda sad thinking back since all of the friends I grew up playing games with in the glorious GameCube era moved away long ago. Sadly, jumping around in the woods hitting things with sticks and pretending you're Link isn't quite the same as a young adult.

Ahhh this song brings back good memories. The channel's finally back after a month of almost exclusively Undertale.

Mmmm yeah Sonic 3 & Knuckles is pretty great. And as special as Sonic 2 is to me, I gotta say, Sonic 3 has one of the best soundtracks of them all (if not the best). Lava Reef, Hydrocity Act 1 & 2, Flying Battery, Ice Cap, Angel Island...seriously this game's soundtrack is stacked. The Sonic section on-site needs so much more love
