Quote from: XiaoMigros on June 14, 2022, 03:10:04 PMThis was surprisingly hard to hear

Yeah, I'm not sure why (maybe because it's a live chamber orchestra playing in a somewhat echoey space), but it's hard to make out a lot of the specific notes, hence why a lot of my notes are more creative interpretation than accurate transcription lol. I will take a look at your notes and try to fix the things you pointed out!

Updated the PDF. I tried 3 measures on each system and spaced them out a little more. That leaves two measures on the last page, but any more than that, and I think the bottom of the first page starts to suffer. If it looks good, I'll also update the mus/musx files accordingly.

(Oops, I just noticed the system at the top of the second page is clipping into the title header. I will change that too)

Quote from: Fantastic Ike on May 31, 2022, 05:08:36 AMHey nice! Although you probably wanna revisit your measure spacing and general layout. The last page only has one measure and it's squashed near the top.

I was unhappy with the measure spacing going onto the second page as well, but nothing immediately stood out to me as far as moving it down to the previous system without it looking squished. I'll give it a try though.

Quote from: Latios212 on May 05, 2021, 03:28:26 PMAh yes I did mean to move both down by only dragging the first down :)

Understood, I have uploaded updated versions that I believe have taken into account all edits.

Happy Revenge of the Fifth, thanks for taking a look at this one haha!

Quote from: Latios212 on May 04, 2021, 06:32:58 PM- You can also give both systems a little bit more vertical space - half the page is empty but the header, composer/arranger info, and tempo marking are all pretty close together. It'd probably look a little nicer with the composer/arranger info and first system lowered a bit.

I've fixed most of the issues, but I'm not quite sure how to do this one on Finale. If I use the staff tool and attempt to drag the first system down, it also drags the second system down in parallel. If you were saying to lower the first system without lowering the second, how would I do that? Thanks!

I'm reuploading Taris Upper City from KOTOR since I've significantly edited it down to look nicer. I've removed all the pedal markings - you'll want to play with pedal for the tremolos to sound good (and for some of them to even be possible), but I assume that's something I can leave to individual discretion and not write it out myself. Would like to hear edits and feedback so that I can submit it once my other two submitted pieces are done getting reviewed!

Quote from: Kricketune54 on April 26, 2021, 01:37:35 PMDefinitely a lot out there!  Sometime I'd like to look at some of Gordy Haab's music (new Rogue Squadron, Battlefronts) and Jesse Harlin's (Republic Commando).  I was working on an arrangement of Star Wars 1313's theme a while ago but I kind of stalled out on it.

Gordy Haab is a brilliant composer, but his pieces are just so complex (like the maestro himself) that I would be a bit intimidated to try to arrange his pieces haha. He's such an amazing composer though; I love his Squadrons theme and how he rearranges the same theme to sound heroic for the good guys and villainous for the bad guys.

And yeah, Star Wars VGM is such a treasure trove. I've found great KOTOR 1 and 2 and SWTOR arrangements, but there's still so much left to be arranged there. A good arrangement of Vode An and some of the other RC stuff would also be awesome, and yeah, all the new games are pretty much completely untapped thus far. Also, I didn't realize 1313 was far enough in development that it had a theme lol; I'll have to go listen to it

Quote from: Kricketune54 on April 26, 2021, 01:18:10 PMAwesome to see this submission, and that you came back and submitted your other KOTOR sheet!  Together, perhaps we can build out a Star Wars category on NSM lol
Heck yeah! One of my biggest laments is the relative lack of Star Wars video game sheet music on the Internet. I've found a few KOTOR arrangements on MuseScore, and a couple other SW video game arrangements on various YouTube channels that have been dead and unresponsive for multiple years, but that's about it lol. I have another KOTOR arrangement complete and was thinking about getting back into arranging some more.

(Side note, I saw your Bounty Hunter arrangement, and I never knew Jeremy Soule had done other composing work for Star Wars other than KOTOR 1! That's really cool)

Quote from: Static on April 25, 2021, 05:53:20 PMThis, and the console should actually just be Xbox360. It wasn't released on PC until months later.
Good to know; I thought it referred to all platforms it was on currently, not the one on which it was released.

Edit: The title of the game should actually be Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
