Feedback / Link's Awakening: Boss Battle
June 21, 2013, 09:08:03 PM
Just something minor I noticed: The MID file for "Boss Battle" from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is a file of the song "Ballad of the Windfish" instead of boss battle. I don't know if this is the right place for this post, but I was just wondering if that could be fixed. Thanks!

Help! / Submission
November 10, 2012, 05:57:05 AM
So, I have an arrangement in PDF, MUS, and MIDI format, but I don't see how to post it on the site in the submission forum. Someone might have asked this already, but how can I post those files?

Help! / Finale NotePad 2012 Problem
November 07, 2012, 05:44:27 PM
Okay. I've been arranging songs with Finale NotePad 2012, and I've got quite a few racked up. I though I'd conquered all of my problems, but a new one arose. Even though I have repeat bar lines in the proper space, the song doesn't repeat when I play it back. After looking through Finale forums and messaging support groups, I found out that the repeat feature doesn't work in playback. If I submit an arrangement in mus. and midi. format, will it not playback the repeat, or am I fine? And if it doesn't playback, what can I do to solve this problem? I really don't want to have all of that hard work go to waste...

EDIT: I don't know if it makes a difference, but I have the unpaid version of NotePad.

Help! / Some Questions I Have
November 02, 2012, 03:09:57 PM
Okay. I've been visiting NinSheet for a while and decided to register so I could arrange music. I have a few questions about things I don't understand, though:

Is Finale2012 the best program for arranging music?
I've already started using it for one arrangement, but I've noticed that nit everyone else is using it...

Do I need to start a forum on the "Submissions" page to put my arrangements on?
I've seen that a lot of other users have done so and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to or not.

What is the maximum amount of arrangements I can submit per update?
I think I saw someone say 4 somewhere, but I've seen users with deafening amounts of sheet music and I wasn't entirely sure they submitted only 4 every update.

PDF, MUS, and MID format?
I've read that my arrangements have to be put into that format. Do others do that for me when I submit an arrangement or do I have to do it (and if I do, then how would I do that)?

Thank you for your time and support. I really do appreciate it if you can answer these questions to further enhance my overall experience with NSM. Thanks!
