Gaming / Metal Slug

Anybody into it? I snagged this the other day (mostly so I could use my PSP before I drop the firmware and throw some roms onto it) and got slapped by loads of nostalgia. I'm addicted. In fact, I'm playing right now. I can't seem to stop.

Hey, NSM.

I know I pop in and out every once in awhile (some of you probably haven't seen me before) but I've come back to the board for a sec to see if there's anybody here from Texas (Dallas, Fort Worth, specifically) because I'll be playing up there this Saturday as some Game Boy wielding kid named IAYD.

If you're up there, go! It should be a really rad night.

Anyone else here seen it? Such an amazing documentary.

If you haven't heard of it, "The King of Kong" revolves around the true story of Steve Wiebe, some guy from the midwest who wants to break the world record for the Donkey Kong arcade game. He's trying to take the title from Billy Mitchell, the original guy who holds the record from 1980s.

If you haven't seen it, go get rent the dvd, or download a torrent.
