1. Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon - "Main Theme" by Bespinben

I know, Daj already did an arrangement of it, but since I had started working on this piece some time ago (I just checked, it was almost 7 years ago...) and what I already had looked very different to Daj's I gave it a try. I've kept it as simple as possible so that I can play it myself. Here it is:

"Abyssal Ruins" from Pokémon Black & White

I don't mean to be rude, but I've made an arrangement of this song 4 years ago and I was planning on submitting it to the main site just lately. I've rewritten it by now. To say the least, there are some major differences. :-\

Thank you Bespinben for suggesting Dorico to me. I already love this software!
AND the MusicXML export + import to Finale works, even though with most of the dynamics and text being lost, minor changes in the notes and some error messages in Finale, but it works!!  ;D

Here is what I rewrote so far*:

Main Theme Epilogue from Crysis 2

Menu Theme from DotA 2

*I also made some small changes after playing these songs over and over on piano.

Thank you again for undertaking this work and props for your youtube channel as well. If your video quality and play skill keep getting better that fast, I'm afraid you'll surpass me one day. ;)

Quote from: Tobbeh99 on September 26, 2016, 03:17:46 PMYou got to submit your DotA 2 Main Theme! Even if it's not completely perfect , It does sounds amazing!
I guess this is about to happen. :P

I will definitely try it out! I just now watched a presentation and I'm very impressed.

Although I'm still waiting for a huge update of my notation software (primus) before overgoing most of my arrangements I had to redo my "Cave and Side Path" arrangement for a new YouTube video. So here is a better version of it now:

For sure!

I just printed it out as soon as you told me and tried it to play it on piano very slow. So it was almost impossible to me to imagine how it will sound, cause I'm to lazy to download any mid or mus files. :P
Then me listening to the mp3 via soundcloud...

DAMN, I WANNA PLAY THAT!!!   :o :o :o

Very well done! Your harmonies sound much closer to the original than mine do. ::)

But there are many ledger lines. Maybe you should use some clef changes in the left hand and 8va brackets in the right hand.

Yes! ;D

Even the sheets look very impressive (as always ;D). I had to immediately try this on piano.
It's just awesome how you manage it always to make your arrangements a master piece for piano!
I like it that you wrote well thought out fingering in the notes, but I found one mistakes there: In measure 10 over the 4th eight note, there should be a 5 instead of a 1 :P
Quote from: Bespinben on November 24, 2014, 04:20:07 PMEverything is just so well blended (had to resort to straight up composing a few places)
I guess the same applies for the rest of the soundtrack, which makes it difficult to arrange. I think you managed it very well. :D
It's interesting how you "transposed in octaves" (in german you'd just say "oktaviert" :o) the melody from measure 21. It seems to be the only way to make it playable.
I look forward to play this on my YT-channel anytime soon. ;)

Added "The Bittercold" (Second Battle) from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates To Infinite
[ZIP] [PRI] [MIDI] [PDF] [Original]

I included a part from an other PMD3 arrangement. Who can find it? :P

Added "I Saw Something Again..."/"Strange Happenings" from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky
[ZIP] [PRI] [MIDI] [PDF] [Original]

...the most creepy song from PMD2. I'm still confused about the left hand in the first half of the piece. :o

I'VE MISSED YOU TOO (T_T). Now I have the motivation back to arrange! ;D

Wait... And I've made this for you :D
