Music / For Phoenix Wright fans - piano video
July 12, 2008, 01:08:45 AM
I gave up on arranging stuff ages ago so I decided to make a piano video of some themes from the Gyakuten Saiban games; the video consists of songs that I haven't seen much of on youtube yet

A Phoenix Wright Piano Collection
1. Chapter Complete (PW1)
2. Gumshoe's Theme
3. Detention Centre (PW1)
4. Edgeworth's Theme (PW2&3)
5. De Killer's Theme (PW2)
6. Godot's Theme (PW3)

Feel free to comment, rate, flame (hopefully not flame).

I based the performance of sheets either from here, or Gyakusheets.tk.

The play time of the cases gets exponentially longer as you go. The last case took me ages to do...5 hours? I don't really remember.

Okay I'll fix it up first before I submit.

Limbo: I see a harry potter avatar..."using the door like an average muggle no less". As for my arrangement sounding not great, you're probably right - you can take mine and work off that/do your own if you want. I just had that sheet for ages and thought I should submit it (I can already play it on piano).

Rosalina is a heavy...which I think is strange. My Mii makes the stupidest most pretentious sounds! As for the new tracks, I agree that rainbow road is harder (I fall off at the last corner because I forget it's there :(), and I think koopa cape is cool. But generally, I like the older tracks better to be honest

Submitting:
I'll fix up what I have first :-\

Under Construction
[NDS]Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney - "Trucy Wright - Child of Magic"

Mus - Download from Mediafire

I think it's pretty much done except for the left hand in bars 20&21. Someone can change it for me if you want to/give me help. I hope it's good enough  :-\

[NDS]Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations - "Godot - The Fragrance of Dark Coffee"
I had this accepted before the site crashed...this will be a very slightly improved version. Didn't really get much feedback for it (or any of my other submission attempts :P) due to the lack of Phoenix Wright/Gyakuten Saiban love!

Quote from: JaMaHa on April 19, 2008, 07:32:03 AMWhen do I need to begin accelerating to get the speed boost at start?

Do they really need to change it in every game..

It's pretty much the same as the ds one, start accelerating just about after the two appears

The sparks you get from drifting are determined by the speed and angle you make your turn.

The faster you go and the sharper you turn the quicker you will get your blue and red sparks.

You play too much man :O

Quote from: gamer4251 on April 16, 2008, 07:10:18 AMHaha, thats because they purposely killed snaking to keep the cheating scum that used it at bay.  It completely ruined the online play of Mario Kart DS ya know.

Snaking isn't cheating, it needs skill! And how else were you meant to get those 3-star ratings in the cups? You can't get good lap times without snaking :P

Drifting in this game is awful!! If you liked the DS Mario Kart (and snaking :P) you're going hate drifting in this! Manual drift = jump and slide + wait for blue sparks and wait longer for red sparks.

Some of the new courses are pretty awesome though. Battle mode a huge disappointment.

Off-Topic / Re: What songs can you play?

I can play most of the more 'famous' tunes from the Phoenix Wright games! But nobody knows about Phoenix Wright...

Right now I'm learning Besaid Island from FFX-Piano Collections...
