Debate topic for next Tuesday: Are cannons truly valid instruments for an orchestra? Or should they be replaced with something safer, like Tesla coils?

The Werewolf Game / Re: TWG X: HOST SIGNUPS

Quote from: drpamplemousse on August 28, 2010, 09:03:15 PMSo basically you want a game as shown in the rules thread?? an in-between from a complicated game and a manhunt
Meh, minus the psychic.  :P Sure, the psychic is cool and all, but it might as well be a cardflip game.
But a cardflip game wouldn't be much fun, as part of some people's strategy is to convince them that they are human even AFTER they die, so that way things that they said will still be taken into account.

That may be true, but the game is definitely spiced up with some interesting story. While it isn't completely necessary, neither is salt on scrambled eggs.... Scrambled eggs without salt doesn't taste that good.

What about a game where the only special role is a guardian that can't guard themselves? (That's right grammar, I even looked it up. >__<)
And maybe the special guardian can be an item that is destroyed after death, but can be passed around if you are still alive?

I'm not planning to host anything until I get at least 50 posts and a few TWG's down. I have a good story/game design in mind, but until then, I'll just stick with whatever you people have in mind. For my first TWG, I'd rather not have it EXTREMELY complicated, nor as simple as a manhunt. Does that make sense? If not, then please understand that while I might sound complicated, it won't really ever start BEING complicated until I try to start confusing you, which won't happen anytime soon, as I know if I try to confuse people in TWG they will be suspicious of me even if I am not a werewolf, which would be very unfortunate for the likes of the person who recently realized that ub3r was in the middle of his name (no not my middle name, but in the middle of my username, isn't that cool? If not, then please understand that I am thankful for you reading this very not meaningful subscript text that has not much to do with anything that is coming that represents nothing that will not come in the future.

I think it would be nice to see Cobraroll's El Guerilla story again, minus the armor item because the seer + guardian alliance would be invincible.... I believe that's the reason Nakah took out the Guardian himself in the story with the two items, as to make sure this didn't happen.

The Werewolf Game / Re: TWG IX: Post Game

Percentages can be a lot different from the actual results; this little experiment we did in class four years ago involved shuffling cards in a bag and drawing them. It went something like there were 7 green and 3 blue or something like that, and my partner and I drew blue almost every time, even though it went completely against what we were just taught. I forget what philosopher said this, but "What can happen, will happen." And while TWG X will be my first game, I think I'll do fine, as long as I don't act too suspicious. In a supermarket a lady thought I was stealing gum from the shelf; I was actually stuffing it into my pocket since I had already payed for it and didn't want my parents to find out....

Mashi did good acting as a human, we'll have to watch for him next time around.
And guess who's about to have his first game of TWG?  ;D
Enter the Jub!!!

I've been reading through TWG I and II, I'm in the middle of III right now. But so far I've had a great idea for a TWG game! However, I would like to get at least 50 posts before I ever decide to make it, and to do that all I would have to do is play several games of TWG. But, before I play my first game of TWG, I want to read through all the past ones first... Well, this might take a while!!  :P

The TWG add on might draw new members to the forum..... even though this is only my fourth post (:-X), I've been on this site for quite a while.... The only thing I've really done is report a couple bugs and say my opinion on award motivation. However, I have to say that it really DOES draw more members to the forum, because the announcement on TWG brought me back to the forums for a fourth post. :D I'm currently reading through some of the earlier ones, it's very dramatic! Once I get past some schoolwork and I read through all the past ones for ideas, I'll probably decide to join a game. ;D Seeing as Nakah does most of the times by EST, the time suggestions would fit my schedule. See you there!

As you said, the NSM community SHOULDN'T need the motivation of awards. However, not to be rude, but our community is a bit lazy, and along with that, the awards might prove to be a fun challenge to the members. I, personally, would enjoy trying really hard to make it on the record books for contributing to this website.

And although I don't arrange, I'll be glad to put 30 minutes aside whenever I can to help convert MUS's into PDF's. Or maybe an hour.
Project Code Name: MUS2PDFS  :D

After visiting the chat, I found that trying to visit any other page would result in a 404 (File not found) error. However, the problem was figured out when I looked at the address bar. While the link was supposed to go to
http://www.ninsheetm.us/sheetmusic.php?franchise=Pokemon , the link actually took me to
http://www.ninsheetm.us/chat/sheetmusic.php?franchise=Pokemon . The same problem occurred no matter what link I clicked on from the chat. While going to the correct web page from there would be easy for me since I know to delete the "/chat", it would make it a convenience for any guests to this website if someone were to fix this problem.

Also, a reminder of my last post, the Pokemon RSE "desert" theme plays the Tetris theme song instead. It has been there for a while and needs to be removed.

That link should lead to the desert theme from Pokemon Ruby and Saphire. However, it's actually the tetris theme....
