Why does everybody want the game to go on even longer? xD
I'm pretty sure the answer is no, mikey. We're in the Executive Action phase, and if BDS doesn't use his power this phase, it should go away before the next Nomination phase begins.
If what Olimar said is true, then BDS was probably given 3 fascist policies. That means that there are 3 liberal policies left in that deck of 8. The chances of getting a liberal policy in the next two phases should be incredibly likely. Actually, we're guaranteed that at least 1 liberal policy will appear within the next two phases, even if the bottom two policies are liberal policies, and assuming that everybody has been telling the truth.
Our main problem right now is that most people are still null. Mikey was given two fascist policies, and olimar was given both two liberal policies and two fascist policies (if BDS concurs with Olimar's statement). N1 and I haven't even been on the board yet. Shy, brainy, and presumably BDS each received three of the same policy as president. While that's not impossible by any means, it's very convenient for the fascists.
Of those three, I think that Shy is the most trustworthy; even if he was lying, he would have had to have discarded a fascist policy. I don't think that that would have been the correct play for a fascist to make? So I'm more inclined to believe that he was being truthful. Imo if would have been a better play to discard one of the liberal policies, and make both Olimar and himself out to be liberals. Either that, or Shy is a fascist that lied about his hand and didn't think about that sequence of events given his inexperience with the game. Again, I'm inclined to believe that Shy was telling the truth.
Brainy and BDS are in the same boat to me. Both could have very easily discarded a liberal policy and given the chancellor no choice. The question is which, if either, is lying. And this of course depends on if BDS actually gave Olimar two policies, or if Olimar was given one of each policy. Waiting on BDS for that.
I think that in either case, BDS, the correct play would be to seer Brainy. If Olimar is lying, then you know that he's not on your team. There's no point seering him. You could go with me or n1, but we're about to be tested anyway, since I don't see any reason right now why not to choose them for chancellor. Mikey is null from what I can tell, but let's be honest, mikey is probably also a good pick for seering no matter the circumstances. You could also seer Olimar if you did in fact draw three fascist policies, but I think that that would be a bit overkill.
