Gaming / Re: Best and Worst: Video Game Endings!
April 24, 2012, 08:49:09 AM
-Ever since the ending to Wind Waker I've never found a conclusion so touching and so comepletely satisfying/fitting in all my life. Wind Waker was pure gaming art IMO

-I treasure every second of both Pikmin games so I must give those a mention... Can't wait for this E3

-The first inFAMOUS had a very surprising plot twist and it wasn't just one of those cheap WTF moments the story tellers through out of nowhere. The ending fit perfectly with everything you did in the game.

-an unsatisfying ending would be Uncharted 2... The story was bad to begin with and then it just dropped in quality as it got closer to the credits.

Request / [GCN] Pikmin 2 - "Credits"
April 18, 2012, 11:31:30 AM
Since Pikmin's been confirmed for this E3, it reminded me that one of my most wanted arrangements for piano was the ending credit music for Pikmin 2. Would somebody be willing to help me out? It's played mostly by piano too

My goodness! You are my bestest pal! Pikmin and Mother are the best! You should see my Mother collection! I have a japanese statue of Ness, Japanese Novel and guidebook to the first game, and every single Japanese version of every Mother game in its original package!

I'd have to go with my good ol' buddy Pikmin 2. That game had EVERYTHING!
-meaty single player
-over 200 collectables
-gameplay so unique and fantastic, it's like nothing else
-30 challenge stages to master (score based. Get a purple flower on a stage by not losing a single Pikmin)
-encourages speed runs
I accomplished everything (including purple flowering ever challenge stage) in this game and it was worth it!

I'd have to go with Rayman 2 because it was the only game during that gen to do 3D platforming right IMO. The Mario 64/Banjo Kazooie style was just not what I wanted

Request / [GCN] Pikmin 2 - "Credits Theme"
July 28, 2011, 08:12:58 AM
I've been wanting to get sheet music for the theme that plays during the credits in Pikmin 2 for a rediculously long time now (since I heard it in 2004)
Here is what it sounds like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vulCVHkBdpg

YES! This is a fantastic piece from that game. It shouldn't be overlooked!

Request / [Wii] Super Mario Galaxy - "Nemesis King Koopa"
December 17, 2010, 10:10:00 AM
I am puzzled as to why it seems that absolutely no one anywhere on the internet (at least as far as I have searched) has attempted to transcribe or even play Bowser's amazing battle music from Super Mario Galaxy on the piano. Instead everyone seems to be playing and transcribing bowser's final battle music which is, IMO, entirely inferior to his standard battle music.

Please transcribe this song guys. As far as I know you'll be the only people who have
