According to a blockbuster presentation at the American Psychological Association convention in Boston recently, it turns out video games can actually make you smarter, reported by Boston Herald.

The details are as below:

    Researchers detailed a series of studies showing that today's gamers could well be tomorrow's surgeons. Their surprising conclusions included:

    The popular multiplayer online game "World of Warcraft" can improve scientific thinking.

    Laparoscopic surgeons who play video games are 27 percent faster at advanced surgical procedures and made 37 percent fewer errors than non-gamers.

    "There are some very compelling cases that video-game playing leads to advanced problem-solving in math, science, and spatial skills," said Fordham University psychologist Fran C. Blumberg. "I do think it has benefits."

    The study of surgeons was conducted by Iowa State University psychologist Dr. Douglas Gentile; Dr. Paul Lynch, associate professor of anestheology at the Mayo Clinic; and other researchers.

    "I noticed that, invariably, the doctors who played video games were better at surgery," Lynch said.

    Gentile and Lynch argue that video games are producing a generation of more adept surgeons. And here's the good news: The rest of the game-playing world is reaping benefits too.

    With 92 percent of kids playing some sort of video game, Gentile says it's become a "natural learning tool" for younger audiences.

So. Awesome movie based on the popular game..Animal Crossing! Cool movie. About 1 1/2 hours long. :].

So. I decided to make a game awhile back. I love doing platformers, so that's exactly what I did. Another platformer. I basically just used to game for learning, and I did learn a lot [Mainly how to draw cubes..] Anyways. The game was made in Game Maker 7 Pro.

Objective of the game: To reach the "win" blocks. Now, just for tips, do the tutorial. Just do it. Do it when it's done downloading. You might get confused if you don't. o.O.

So. Here's some controls on how to play..

WASD - Move
Mouse - Look around
Spacebar - Jump
Q - Unlock the mouse
ESC - Exit
Arrow Keys to navigate the menu [First screen]
F1 - Help

Alright..So I found this while browsing yoyo games. It's not in english, but they don't really speak anyways. If you know what to do in Portal, you'll easily figure out this game.

Whole soundtrack has been updated into the VGS. Yey. :]

Alright. This is a bit puzzling me, though I'm not really minding it. [Heh].

I was playing Counter Strike: Source. I turned on the net graph, allowing me to see my fps. Now, I'm on medium graphics, and I get an average of about 60 fps. So, I turned it to the max, to see what I'd get.

When it changed, I got an average of about 150fps. Why is this? Shouldn't turning up the graphics reduce it..By..Alot?

hi 2 all im new to the whole CS sceene so ill try and make this quick as possible
kkz so 2 weekz ago my friend messages me with this new pr0g called f4gler.exe and hes like "wanna rage" and im like "ya" and hes like "kkz dl this h4x its vac proof" and im like "kkz".
so i dld the hack and we raged some servers it was LoL-worhty u kno how it is.
so today i log on my account and i see 'ur acct has been VAC BONNED permanently from all games kthzbai".
so im like "what the hell is that."
wtf is with VAC? the cheat was VAC PROOF. that means ist illegal for VAC to ban me for it cause it was VAC UNDETECTED. the cool guyz @ mPC even told me so.. this is LUDa. that hack p-OWNED too and it was VAC UNDETECTED so its BS that i got banned.
if gabe newell cud check in2 this i would be very happi.
