We seem to have trapped one of the mods within the forum's code... and we're not sure how to get him out. Oh well, he'll figure it out!

Are there any arrangers working on this song?
It's probably one of those most unique songs in Pokemon games.
Victory Road would be nice too.

Quote from: olimar12345 on April 22, 2011, 12:49:10 PMwow, um-do u know that the whole point of our site is to make sheet music for piano? sometimes that means editing it to be playable-but if ur good at it, u can still make it recognizable. thats where the "arranged" in the "arranged by _____" comes from.

here's a good way to combine them:

Just like I previously stated, I already have a combined version, I said I had seperated it for accuracy and a better look.
I'll post it later.
I'm busy.

Quote from: olimar12345 on April 21, 2011, 02:10:40 PMyeah, but i meant for reading-i dont like sight reading 3 staves on piano. if each staff is played with each hand, which hand would you play the 3rd staff with?
...and flight of the bumblebee is written in two staves when written out for piano...

shado is right tho-combining the staves would fix ur piece.
Like I said, It's impossible to play as one person unless you change it a bit, making it less accurate.
I made this to replicate the original, not as a Piano piece.

Quote from: olimar12345 on April 20, 2011, 05:09:59 PMhmmm... its to hard for a solo, but its not a duet... what do u wanna do with this?

Depends on your definition of "hard."
Look at Flight of the Bumblebee.
Way faster and way more complicated, and yet people can still play it.

Quote from: Shadoninja on April 20, 2011, 06:13:18 PM1) it needs a key signature
2) one staff for the right hand. find a way to combine the treble clefs
3) beginning 16th note run needs an 8va

I already took all these things into consideration quite a while ago.
1) The piece itself has way too many accidentals that are both Flat and Sharp. This greatly reduces confusion.
2) I purposely seperated the part in treble. My original was all together and it was incredibly cluttered and impossible for two hands. I intended this as the game replica, not as a piano sheet.
This also makes it much simpler and usable for other instrumentalists.
3)I wanted to avoid using 8va because the piece fluctuates so much, but I may do it for the beginning as a later replacement, but now I'm busy orchestrating music.

Johto Trainer Battle: This sheet is impractical for a human to play. Try and make it possible, and on just one treble clef, so that a person could read it. Page 6 also needs to be cleaned up. Work on getting just the main melody and a more simple bass line. Parts CAN be left out. It just needs to be playable.

RSE Surfing: I've only just looked at the PDF. you have notes on the bass clef overlapping with notes on the next line's treble clef. Use 8va and 8vb when you are writing measures like 13. Everything is on leger lines.

I found your Lilycove arrangement on another site here. Is this plagarism?

Click view sheet on number 7 in the VG series. I'm quite sure that this is the exact same sheet. I'm not sure what the rules here on plagarism are, but I'm tempted to believe that any of these sheets could be plagarised, and none will be accepted at this time.

For the Johto battle, when I posted this, I wasn't fully aware it was strictly for Piano. I have a version with the treble put together if necessary.

I'm just noticing I put the wrong version of the Surfing. The finished version I have is in 3/4 which I will post momentarily.

The Lilycove City is baffling me. I did take a look at that version, yes, but I made my own version which I see I didn't put on. I don't know how my name got on there, and I deeply apologize. I'll give you my version as well.

Everything fixed.

winter: Sorry Mmella. I you'll need to look over NSM's formatting guidelines before we can accept your pieces. I think we'll have you wait till out next update. We also need MUS files.

Remember the repeat signs, by the way.

My software doesn't format into MUS.
Guess these won't be going on the site.

Feedback / Question about the forums
April 17, 2011, 12:20:52 PM
I'm new to the forums buy I've been using Ninsheetmusic for quite a while now.
How long does it normally take for a piece to be accepted on to the site?
I see people like PampleMousse and Deku trombonist getting their pieces up very quickly, but I've hardly gotten a response on an arrangement I submitted, which you will likely see in the Submission section.
I'm fairly certain the piece would be accepted if anyone would take the time to look at it.
If I'm just being impatient, I apologize.
I just want to know what to expect.
#55
It certainly does.
I'm adding them on the thread now.
#56
I'm new to the forums, so some advice will be appreciated.
For this piece, I used http://www.noteflight.com/ and just made the file a PDF.
I really like this program because it's not cluttered with hundreds of near useless options, plus it's extremely easy to use, with it's note dragging capabilites.
I may get Finale notepad sometime in the future.

Thank you for liking the composition.
I felt I needed to contribute since I've been greedily using NSM for a while.

Yes, I'm looking for sheet music that resembles the original as best as possible.
I just need it in basic form, Treble and Bass.

Music / Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald requests
April 14, 2011, 08:55:42 PM
Hello fellow composers.
I'm currently working on a very massive project.
I'm fully orchestrating near every song from The third generation Pokemon games RSE.
The set up of the music is in movements going in a basic order of how you would encounter the song.
So basically from Littleroot Town to the ending theme.

For those out there, I would greatly appreciate if some could arrange the
Meteor Falls theme,
Trainer Battle,
Mt. Pyre (Peak)
and Victory Road.
The Gym leader battle isn't completely necessary, but would be gratefully used.

This is a bit of a hefty request, but it's not like I need them right away.
I will be sure to give credit to all those who help me.

I will make sure to stay posted.
My E-mail is Mmella@live.com if you've come up with progress.
Thank you again.

Update: I will also take suggestions on how I should order the songs.
